AGM abandoned after 25 minutes due to heckling.

edit: Celtic board played a blinder. Wanted to show a video then take questions. Shareholders said don’t bother with video we no need more time for questions. Board adjourned meeting for half an hour so in the end there was no time for any questions.

I’d be raging too but fuck em

Why would you sympathise with the fans? Sure the board are taking the piss and are hoarding money in the biscuit tin but the Tims have won 13 of the last 14 league titles and the fans are still whingeing.

They’ve won 40 odd trophies since 2000. I can see why the board are telling the fans to ram it.
They would be much happier if they realised where their club sat in the footballing food chain

Because if our board were doing the same thing then I’d imagine we’d feel the same way as the Celtic support do now.

They handed over 12.4 mill to the taxman instead of investing it into a squad that clearly needed investment. I would be furious about that alone 2bh so can defo sypathise with them there.  Incompetence should never be ignored just because you've been very successful and it's hard not to question the celtic boards competence. What happened today was just another farce from them, did they honestly think some mealy mouthed, pre prepared statement delivered by the absent owners son was going to cut the mustard with one of the most entitled fanbases on the planet after the farce that has been the tims since June? What happened today has just inflamed it by a million. Mental attack from Desmond Jr.

Without seeming to be a typical Timmy conspiracy nut it’s hard not to see that today was deliberately orchestrated by the board. Lawell was reading from a statement as he shut it down. He had it all ready to go after Desmond’s loon spoke. That’s a poor show.

Behaviour of shareholders in room rotten as well though, it’s an AGM not a match. Let them speak THEN heckle them. Load of performative tripe with the red cards.

It’s the natural conclusion to the huns being shite, they’re no longer a threat/focus so they’ve turned on the board who have brought it on themselves with their orchestrated stagnation. Not to mention their previous pandering to the GB instead of quashing their entitlement and letting them ratchet up discontent.
