Jute Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 Following on from the Caravan Park sponsors of training kit the gift that keeps on giving have released these strips. That purple mess isn’t their keeper strip it’s actually their away strip. 1 Quote

Slim Posted June 27 Report Posted June 27 I like the addition of the two wee guys at the back, so short that you can’t see their shirts, in a photo shoot to promote their shirts. 2 Quote

Slim Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 I see Dundee Utd have been caught defrauding the taxpayer with dodgy R&D claims, could be on the hook for up to £2m if I'm reading this correctly: https://taxpolicy.org.uk/2025/07/31/dundee-united-rd-claim/ Quote
tlg1903 Posted July 31 Author Report Posted July 31 Yeah saw that earlier. With the kind of losses they have been operating the past 5 years that ain't going to be easy to pay. Quote
BigAl Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Am I alone in hoping that they win this evening. Let's be honest, they are going fucking nowhere in European competition anytime soon but don't need them losing to a team from Luxembourg for the sake of the coefficient. Having said that, if they did, I reserve the right to laugh my socks off Quote
tlg1903 Posted July 31 Author Report Posted July 31 According to Scotlands coefficient we need a minimum of 4 teams into the league phase to stay in the top 15 and thus keep 5 euro spots. Yeah, I want utd to win. Want hibs to win too Quote
RicoS321 Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Fuck the coefficient. That is a spectacular document utd have provided. This is the equivalent of the deadco soliciting advice from the lad who made porn films. Thon ZLX firm have clearly come in and promised to reduce their tax bill and Utd's directors have given them carte blanche to do so, without any basic due diligence. I don't think that incompetence will be a possible defence for the Utd board like, they'll likely face fines. I don't agree with the taxpolicy blog's assertions that players, chefs and analysts couldn't apportion a good chunk of their salaries to the various projects, but that is totally irrelevant as "projects" such as nutrition and analytics are clearly an operational cost of a football club, and definitely not R&D. You'd have to be a con artist to suggest that they were. Which will probably turn out to be true in the case of these consultants. Hope Utd didn't pay them a fortune. Quote
blinlemon Posted November 24 Report Posted November 24 During *Grampian TV’s interview with Goodwin tonight, I noted among their sponsors the name “Favela”. Whilst abhorred by the existence of such Brazilian poverty-level shanty towns , thanks to the cruelty of capitalism, and the company name being ill-chosen by thick fuckers, it chimes well with TSMSTID’s “stadium” sponsors, Calforth Construction, and Clayton Caravan Park. *fuck STV 2 Quote
blinlemon Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Having donned the lice repellent-saturated biler suit, and sterilised every last tiny part of me, I had a gander at what the self-appointed podcast gurus and golfers who scratch crude runes into stones at a tumbledown plastic hellhole, are thinking, not two minutes from where the magnificent Dons secured victory this afternoon. The topic, second in the listing, under “Whit’s wrang wi shaggin yer suster, eh?” Was “Goodwin Out?”, a bit of a tumble from the hosannas for their Sir Jim of last season. “Tactically we have been miles off it since he got his new contract. We seem unable to fix the problems that we have and we are gifting goals to the opposition, week in week out. The line up for this game was totally void of any attack. A lot of players are underperforming and we aren't doing the basics right...and that has to fall at the feet of the coaches and manager.” “Does anybody else think that we need to pull the trigger sooner rather than later?” “Get him to f*ck, we are sliding downhill faster than a f*cking Jamaican Bobsleigh team!” “Not posted in a long time but so angry how we are playing. I Agree to many games this season we have seen utd fall behind due to Goodwin tactics. We see so many games where we are poor first half then different second. This falls at the feet of Goodwin. I just don’t see any improvement as things stand. U look at other teams Falkirk, Motherwell and they are on the front foot looking to go forward. We sit back and defend and even at that we are s@@@ at. The amount of goals we have conceded this season is shocking. But it’s all down to Goodwin and how he sets us up. Time for change before it’s too late.” “Along with the other Goodwin and Mathers the goalie coach.” “Honestly just not anywhere close to good enough. He has to go,but he won't. What a depressing time to be a United fan.” “need to calm down. I am fcuking furious. Gonna leave things until tomorrow. (hopefully, just be really angry by then)” “I had to turn it off mate, next door were getting a bit concerned about my mental state” “Not for me, he's deserves a crack at sorting this out in my opinion. I'll admit it's hard to see that happening this season but he deserves a chance.” “I kind of agree that he deserves a crack at it, but nothing recently even suggests that he is trying to fix it! I just don't think we can afford to wait until next season as we will 100% be in the Championship! I think Ogren also has a big part to play in what happens next as we are definitely needing some fresh faces in and some players shown the door in January.” “No, a good bit off that. Knee jerk stuff imo. However we badly need a keeper as Richard's is nowhere near good enough and for now I'd rather go with Kuch, must sort the goalie situation by January” “He persists with this defence week on week. OK Graham is back but the others have not had a clean sheet for months (if at all). Sam CH in right away and bin Kerestes and Iovu. Strain and Ferry the other 2 in a 4. Has to be better than this and its almost the same defence we used at times last season and got clean sheets. We will score goals but we need to be shutting teams out.If Goodwin persists with underperforming defenders over and over when they cant stop leaking goals then I want him out. It's getting to me that he wont play a young Scottish Dundee United fan who has already been tested at this level and played very well.” “Goodwin signed Richards. If he isn't good enough why sign him? Iovu seems to be the other Goodwins scouted Baresi. If he is so good why have previous coaches let him move? Think the Goodwins need to go to Specsavers and also remember we play in Scotland.” “This is definitely a case of decent players but crap Manager. I have zero faith in him.” OH HAPPY FUCKING DAY. Ajja Posted 43 minutes ago Report Posted 43 minutes ago I honestly thought with the return of some of their players like Graham and Watters they would start to look half decent again but it seems that Goodwin’s ability to be like kryptonite to quality, enjoyable football is biting deep now in Dundee. Will enjoy listening to those two smug pricks on the Dode Fox podcast this week Quote
tlg1903 Posted 11 minutes ago Author Report Posted 11 minutes ago Say what you like about Goodwin but at least he had it about himself to resign when it went tit's up with us. I think it's admirable that he didn't make us sack him so we had to pay him off and he will always get some goodwill from me for that. Quote
