  1. Oooooh you've got a source The situation as you describe it probably sums up the shambles of Paterson's tenure mind you.
  2. I'm not having a go at yout but I find that totally unbelievable. I appreciate the Pele was a mess but not talking to a player that he put in the team most weeks even tho he thought he was "shit"? Would love to know how you know that.
  3. Not an ideal draw but I fancy we'll take them out.
  4. Indeed. What a fucking stupid thing for McGhee to suggest.
  5. Tokyo isn't too nice at all. The lager isn't bad though and I'm quite partial to the Punk IPA.
  6. Might not be. I doubt very much if there will be interest from any other Championship clubs so we should have half a chance.
  7. That piece makes no sense whatsoever. Just "chico" trying to do his usual and sound clever. Empty vessels make the most noise right enough. However, AFC have gone well over the score on this. Maguire's tackles were both worthy of bookings so he'd have been off anyway and we shouldn't really be complaining about those. Ross's second booking was wrong though, but still hardly the injustice AFC are making it out to be. Likewise with Murray's tackle, which was never deserving of a red card. It seems to me like McGhee and Miller are taking a leaf out of their old gaffer's book and trying to deflect attention away from our decidedly average start to the season. I've got no problem with that and it might even help to fire the players up if they think they're being hard done by
  8. Anyone else getting terminally fed up with so many threads descending into these mind-numbing arguments? On one side, Jimmy's gone, get over it. On the other, McGhee isn't the saviour (or a naughty boy), so deal with it. What we have is pretty much a similar standard to last season, which is what I'd have expected given we were swapping one SPL manager for another. It would be much the same if we swapped about half of the players around between us, Hibs, Utd and Motherwell so why should the management be any different?
  9. The only bit I don't particularly like is the "manipulative scum" bit. Bit over the top and isn't really in keeping with the tone of the rest of the article. Good piece overall though.
  10. As did our previous manager. The one before him didn't. The one before that definitely did.
  11. I didn't realise that Preece had trained with any other goalkeeping coaches in the SPL to be qualified enough to make that judgement. Sad to see a legend leave the club but like others have said, if McGhee thinks it's for the good of the club then that's how it has to be.
  12. Don't agree at all. Did you see the game against Chelsea at Old Trafford last season, or the Champions League semis? Fletcher's absence was a big reason for Utd's poor performance in the CL final. What Utd need is a creative, goal-scoring player to play alongside Fletcher. Or get in a time machine and go back 10 years for the old Paul Scholes.
  13. Yeeeeees, he "accidentally" let Zander heed him on the back of the napper. FFS fuck sake, KMG must go.
  14. Do you either watch or type with your eyes shut? To claim anyone in a red shirt today was "superb" is ludicrous. On or two were half decent but none of them were any better and to suggest otherwise is insanity.
  15. It's all sounding quite positive but I'll no be getting excited til Phil Schofield and Gordon the Gopher are elbowed out for a photo or two tomorrow.
  16. I think it's because his name should be Will O'Flood. What the fuck kind of name is Willo?!
  17. Good to see it made the shortlist anyway
  18. Defenders Mark, defenders. FOR CHRIST SAKE!!
  19. Good deal if true. Can't see it though.
  20. Club Foot - Kasabian would do the job for me
  21. The bonus listed seem to be per win if I've read it right. So £1,200 per win if we finish in the top four and a grand per win for 5th or 6th, with nothing if we don't make top six. £200 per win of a difference which is a bit more substantial than £200 over the course of the season
  22. Like that a lot. Might even part with some hard-earned for it
  23. Apparently Dundee had a sell-on clause in the deal when Kevin McDonald went to Burnley which got them £200,000 when Burnley were promoted. Still a hell of a lot of spends for any Scottish club outwith the Sauchiehall St two.
  24. No, anal. Oops.
