  1. Very well said indeed
  2. Boooooo that's supposed to be Derek Young's line
  3. I see from the BBC site that Hibs, Hearts and Falkirk have all expressed an interest in entering the Intertoto Cup if they fail to qualify for Europe "proper" thru the league. Should we be thinking along the same lines? I'd say yes for sure. Fair enough it means an earlier start to the season but we should be looking to do everything we can to give ourselves a chance of getting the big games like we've had this season and earning the money that goes with them.
  4. As the administrator once said to the young lady
  5. Fake and mingin! Cash staying in my pooch thanks
  6. Actions and words Barry, actions and words
  7. I've been waiting on this since last night. Doh! But still, they don't have to be world beaters to have looked good against that pile of shite we put up as a performance. I still maintain that if our players played to their potential then none of that lot initially mentioned would get into our side.
  8. I thought that could be the reason but it's as shit one. Easy to say so with the benefit of hindsight but you don't have to be a genius to have noticed how pish Consi has been at full back. I'd rather have a half-fit Maybury any day.
  9. It's still the most frustrated I've felt after a Dons game
  10. I'll give him to the end of the season as well but only cos he's kinda earned the right to see out the UEFA run and see how we do in the league and cup. After that I want someone else brought in. Why sign Alan Maybury and then play Considine at left back?
  11. The fact that people are now appearing to notice that we are missing Chris Clark speaks volumes for the amount of pish spoken on messageboards. Take that any way you like
  12. Someone remind me why I'm paying good money and making a 700 mile round trip next week to watch this bunch of cowards and bottle merchants?
  13. I just got mine the now. Only single seats left in the Main and uncovered South. Apparently the phones are so busy cos people have been phoning up to buy tickets for the Celtic game.
  14. I'm happy with that one - for starters
  15. Don't think I agree about the SFA going out their way to make things harder for us but I do agree with your other point about making them play tmrw. Absolute shambles
  16. Probably £120-£130. Lokomotiv and Copenhagen games (what? big game hunter?!) plus replica top and some training wear from the club shop.
  17. If we had a scouting system coming up with dross like that there would be plenty of people complaining. I honestly don't think any of them would be much use at Pittodrie.
  18. After many years of crying with laughter at that pic of those greeting bastards at the railings, I've finally been able to see through the tears to notice the scarf on the fucker with his head in his hands on the left. Not just a Union Jack but a Northern Ireland flag as well. Huns without the bus fare indeed
  19. Interesting decision to choose Preston over Plymouth. Might well be joining up with a League One side at the end of his Dons contract.
  20. The correct answer would have been "ye kin, stuff".
  21. I hope that means that we've actually offered him a new deal on less money then, because if he is so keen to stay then surely he'd sign for the same terms?
  22. Not too dissimilar a scenario to the one when he left Dunfermline then, other than the fact none of the Dunfermline boys we took were out of contract so we had to cough up for them (including the Jimmys). Not entirely beyond the realms of possibility that you're right.
  23. I know this is a total "my mate's mate told him" so I don't even know if I believe it, but apparently Zander was at Parkhead today for some kind of meeting or medical. Like I say I'm not sure about it but just passing on what I heard. Don't shoot the messenger
  24. His interview's after the game were absolutely horrendous. Obviously Chick wouldn't dare question anything he said but I was desperate for Stuart Lovell to tell him that McCulloch had to go.
  25. I think the really worrying thing is that attendances are still actually falling, despite having a more "successful" team in the last season and a half. Hearts were actually doing some decent offers for the fans a while back which must have helped, along with giving away free strips and scarves to kids in their immediate area. That can't have done any harm. Hibs have a reputation for good football which must bring in fans, whilst they also have a popular ex-player in charge. We haven't really got/done any of those things, except maybe Willie Miller's role, although if you offered a choice of the three situations, based purely on a football basis I'd rather be in ours each and every time.
