Celtic had the luxury of changing their team by leaving out Griffiths, Sinclair and Roberts, replacing them with Dembele, Rogic and Forrest. We had to leave out Christie and replace him with Considine. They're operating in a different stratosphere and the fact that they haven't lost a domestic game since whenever proves it. It isn't worth stressing out over tonight's game, we're still in second, that's where we'll finish the season and probably every other one in the foreseeable future.

The under-rating of McGinn on here is chronic. When you look at his goals and assists over his time here then the accusation of being mediocre in half the games doesn't stack up. With Stewart and Christie only here temporarily then it would be a major bonus getting McGinn back. It's all academic mind you as it'll never happen.

Would expect the team to be: Lewis Logan O'Connor Reynolds Consi Shinnie Tansey Christie McLean Stewart Rooney Which isn't bad at all, I reckon Christie could be more useful than McGinn, although Stewart not as good as Hayes, so we're probably about as strong in the front four as last season as things stand.

Quite. And he isn't a wide midfielder either, he's a stand in the middle of the park kicking anyone who he isn't too slow to catch, and that isn't many. O'Halloran, I'm not so sure about. There might be a player there but it may just be that he's quick but no great ability to back that up.

Great stuff. McInnes is clearly a guy who has his head screwed on properly. He'll know that if he does well with us again next season he'll get an even better offer next summer.

O'Connor and Reynolds for me, followed by O'Connor and Taylor. If I had any clue whatsoever about Morris' abilities then that could alter but since I don't, then it won't for the moment. I actually prefer Consi at left back and he doesn't seem to have the guaranteed-penalty-concession problem out there.

First game was a 1-0 defeat to the huns at the home of hunnery in 1988 I think. About the only thing I can remember was the hatred for Willie Miller amongst the hun hordes.
