  1. FTSCOTTDAVIE!
  2. I seem to remember the quote from Diamond being along the lines of "I don't want to be the next Alex McLeish, I want to be my own type of player".
  3. I don't think Utd winning last night was a bad result for us. They were always going to get top 6 with the games in hand that they've got but it means Inverness didn't get any further ahead of us. A win tonight would put us 4 points behind Well with 5 games each left til the split. That should be do-able and if we aren't able to make up that kind of deficit then we probably don't deserve to be in the top half anyway
  4. Yup that's happening to me too. I'm logged in ok when I arrive at the main page but as soon as I go into Aberdeen Football Club it logs me out
  5. In/Oot : Oot Pre-match : Flying from Bergen to Oslo Match : No doubt trying to find a stream Post-match: oot for tea! Prediction : Easy-peasy lemon squeazy.
  6. I thought so too. He had one or two dodgy passes when he first came on but when he settled into the game he looked very solild and played a couple of great balls over the top towards the end of the first half. More to come from him I'm sure when he gets a run of games.
  7. Even if that stat was in any way important, we've still got a home game against the Huns to go.
  8. For the latest Scotland squad: Charlie Adam (Blackpool) Barry Bannan (Aston Villa) Phil Bardsley (Sunderland) Cameron Bell (Kilmarnock) Christophe Berra (Wolves) Scott Brown (Celtic) Gary Caldwell (Wigan Athletic) Kris Commons (Celtic) Graham Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion) Darren Fletcher (Manchester United) Craig Gordon (Sunderland) Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers) Alan Hutton (Tottenham Hotspur) Chris Maguire (Aberdeen) Lee McCulloch (Rangers) Allan McGregor (Rangers) Kenny Miller (Bursaspor) James Morrison (West Bromwich Albion) Steven Naismith (Rangers) Robert Snodgrass (Leeds United) Danny Wilson (Liverpool) Mark Wilson (Celtic) Well done son. Might not do our chances of keeping him in the summer any harm if he realises he can get into the international set up whilst playing for us. On the other hand, if he plays and does well it'll probably convince some Premiership clubs to go for him.
  9. Evidently the Huns weren't happy with Celtic becoming the most despised team in the country and had to do something to get their place back. Either that or the old cunt Smith has decided that he's just going to go mental and cause total havoc in his last six months in charge.
  10. In/Out: Out Pre-match: Work Match: Telly Post-match: Bed Prediction: Making a better fist if it than we did on Saturday but still getting beat.
  11. According to Mad, Brown has said that he's hopeful of signing a defensive midfielder currently playing in England but with experience in Scotland. Gavin Rae is being suggested.
  12. Bad news for me as Loch Lomond is only a couple of hours away from me and the Scottish Open was easily the closest world class sporting event. Still, if it helps get Tiger to play then I'm sure Barclays will get over the fact that I won't be there to watch. Not quite as disappointing as sitting in the clubhouse yesterday with a new record score for our winter league's two-ball better-ball competition, which last for a full 10 mins until the last game of the day came in a beat us with a better inward half
  13. In/oot: Out Prematcher: Gowf Match: Radio Postmatcher: Staying in Prediction: Optimistic head on, 0-0
  14. Me and three mates are in
  15. What was the situation with McArdle then? Wasn't the Rochdale manager pissed off that we got him for nothing? Was it because he was 23 when he actually joined us rather than signing his pre-contract?
  16. Give us the Pars for a wee bit of revenge - hopefully fate isn't listening and feeling tempted by that
  17. Unfortunately not if he goes to England or abroad. We'll only get cash if he goes to another Scottish team.
  18. He's just repeated that on STV's shite Friday night programme.
  19. In/oot: Oot Prematch: Golf course Match: Radio Postmatch: Pub Prediction: 3-0 Dons
  20. Let's face it, Scottish football is fucked either way. They can try changing formats all they want but nothing will stop the slide to oblivion that started as soon as money became the main motivation and no-one did anything to stop the Glasgow hoors taking the lion's share of it. The ideal scenario for me would be a reset button that would see all clubs going bankrupt and new teams being formed by supporters and run in a similar way to the German clubs. Kinda like FC Utd of Manchester but on a nationwide scale
  21. First bets since August: Bolton, Man City, Spurs and Cardiff returned £170 for a tenner
  22. He's a great guy! I'm £200 better off thanks to his efforts
  23. Nice one lads. Let's hope it wasn't just new manager syndrome and we can keep it up on Wednesday. Especially as I'm going - my first game of the season
  24. Ah, if that's the case then my apologies. BBC website has him listed.
  25. And McNamee.
