  1. Getting worse instead of better. We weren't even this bad last season
  2. Has to go, really sad that it didn't work out but that result has tipped me over the edge.
  3. Totally. I can easily live with them being thick bastards with the FTP/Q stuff but it's pretty crap them openly supporting another pro team, never mind one they'll be expected to play against if they ever make the grade.
  4. Bebo. Scored one, set one up and generally got stuck in.
  5. Kenny Clark is a knobend. I read him having a go at Dingus as well. An ex referee who no doubt went squealing to the SFA when players and managers had a go at him has a cheek to peform such a u-turn as soon as the media's shilling is waved in front of him. He backs the refs every week no matter how blatantly wrong their decisions may have been, therefore his opinion is worth zip. Having said that, get it up the grumpy bastard Jim Jefferies anyway.
  6. No you stupid hun bastard of a "newspaper", any potential deal would be dependent on any offer from Rangers reflecting Aberdeen's valuation of the player
  7. Poor boy. Sure he'll come back as strong as ever.
  8. If that's the best reason we've got for keeping him then we should just let him go! Anyway, Hartley will be taking the pens this season I'd imagine.
  9. I'd imagine that if he is trying to sign Hendrie and Hartley then McGhee will have room to sign someone else if we don't get Hartley. Probably Ahmed or whoever. That gives us Hendrie, Fyvie, Ahmed/Hartley, Young (shudder), and didn't Williams start one of the friendlies as a defensive mid?
  10. Nice one mate, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Just be prepared for playing in a breeze! Heading out there for 18 holes tonight
  11. I can't honestly believe anyone still thinks we have some kind of right to be taking a guaranteed three points from anyone in the SPL. Even in seasons when we were doing a hell of a lot better than last year it would still have been mental to expect maximum points from any three-game sequence. 9 points would be excellent, 7 still pretty good and 6 plenty acceptable. We should be looking to win home games like those but a point from any away game would be decent.
  12. Different positions my man, one's a right back, the other plays on the left.
  13. It was the best of dates then it was the worst of dates
  14. Fuckin teckle likes!
  15. Completely agree. And it often feels like the bigger the occasion, the worse the game. One of the most entertaining games I've watched recently was Palace v West Brom on Monday night. Plenty meaty tackles, controversy, loads of chances and some brilliant saves. Not saying that the championship is wonderful or anything like that but quite often you get better games at a lower level than you do in the champions league.
  16. That's got to hint at Langfield being off in the summer
  17. Almost as many as they do goalkeepers by the sound of it.
  18. Well said those people. McGhee isn't going anywhere til at least the close season, if he goes at all, so hopefully everyone can get behind the team for the next few games.
  19. Langfield, Mulgrew, Foster, Diamond, Considine, Maguire, Kerr, Aluko, Pawlett, Marshall, Paton, Megginson, Fyvie, Grimmer. I'll probably be in the minority by choosing to keep 14 but I reckon that group with a decent boss and a sprinkling of experienced new signings, adding in the rest of the kids coming through and we'll be grand.
  20. The huns have been absolutely rank rotten in their last couple of games so I'm not all that worried about them "destroying" us. I'm not saying that I expect us to win or anything but I'll be amazed if we get a pumping, I reckon it'll be quite a close game.
  21. I don't think Gannon ever signed a contract so I'd be surprised if they had to pay much if anything to get rid. I'd also be very surprised if they've signed a whole new team.
  22. Indeed. I actually don't give a fuck is sacking JC was right or if McGhee was the right replacement. We'd still be getting pumped out the cup by some absolutely shite outfit or other whoever was in charge. I really want to be angry about tonight's result but why should I bother caring when it's clear that very few people AFC actually do?
  23. All part of the "fun". I suppose the winning feeling is what keeps us all interested
  24. Impressive stuff. Fyvie took his goal really well and the build up for the Dazzler's was quality.
  25. Absolutely. Watching it last night I couldn't help wishing I'd been born 10-15 years earlier so I'd be able to remember the glory days
