  1. I'm not going to taint the site by linking to the hun webpage but y'all need to have a wee look at the statement the zombies have released about yesterday. Hilarious
  2. The tims are having a bit of a wankfest over this it would seem...... I'm far from convinced as it's at best a medium term appointment. If he does well he'll be off to the first decent flash of epl leg, if he doesn't he'll get binned for being to expensive. Ultimately he's going to just as much of a struggle getting anyone of any real talent to come to scotland as Deila did regardless of sevco being in the league. He's won fuck all and Liverpool were quite glad to see the back of him. If he makes the group stages he might get a few more options but by then it will be close to the close of the window and all the best options will already be taken. Cue panic buying. If they don't make the CL group stages it's going to be hilarious. Fact.
  3. Barcelona score that it's a worldwide wank fest. What a goal! Fairy play to the bairns, Houston has fair changed my opinion of him this season.
  4. Did you see Rodgers taking a cross ball very impressively there manc? Maybe he can be no 1
  5. I wouldn't be surprised ed, he's that kind of character. I like him, just wish he could pass a ball accurately more often. I want Jackson Irvine to replace him, have done for months.
  6. Great minds Al Whatever else you can say about flood he's clearly no fun to play against and Utd will need that next season.
  7. That would be a really good move for him if you ask me, if the arabs get their act together then the scrap between utd, hibs and possibly falkirk (though you would think falkirk will be getting cherry picked if they don't get promoted) could be a really good watch. Flood would be a good guy to have in your team if you want to challenge for the championship IMO Connor Salmon? WTF? It would be a really un-necessary signing given our recruitment so far. I've asked my hibee mate what he thinks of Hanlon and he says that he's a great player, grafter too. He's not the tallest though (5'11) but then again that's not necessarily too much of a hindrance if he can read a game well. He's 26 and has played over 200 games for Hibs so he's at a good age with plenty top flight first team experience. It could be an interesting move if it happens, if he can read the game well and organise a defence he would have ability that none of our current CB's have. Does it make anyone else sad that Anderson wasn't born 5 years later? Edit: more from my hibee pal. Yeah, decent pace. Does a full 90 all the time and great at passing and slowing the game down. Sad to see him go.
  8. I read ringworld a few years back, it was quite decent
  9. Mainly agree but if he thought church could link play he really didn't watch him very much
  10. I'm pretty pleased with the business done so far truth be told. The three strikers now on the books are all quite different from each other and gives us plenty options upfront. Ideally I think we need at least one CB, one CM and one GK, if we can get GS as well then all the better but the mentioned positions should be the priority IMO.
  11. Stewart would be a great but I can't see it happening
  12. Anyone got any good sci-fi recommendations?
  13. I've been keeping an eye on McGovern a few seasons now. I think he's a cracking goalie 2bh ED, good shotstopper and commands his area well.
  14. I'd rather go for mcgovern, I don't think there is much between the two them. He's free, he's at a great age for a goalie and he would be ours.
  15. Got 21/2 on falkirk when it was 2-1 Easy money
  16. first new release from the furries in 7 years happy friday folks
  17. And a good goalkeeper, moving for Mcgovern seems a no brainer for me given he's out of contract. I'm still yet to be convinced either way with Shankland, he's done well at helen by all accounts and i wouldn't be adverse to giving him another shot.
  18. Would far prefer him to Church but if this happens you can see Shankland leaving.
  19. Just because we haven't heard anything doesn't mean that we are not in for feb. Motherwell's offer has been on the table for 4 days now and is still unsigned. Clearly the guy has some options to consider
  20. I would also point toward the 5 live audio documentary the truth that was on 2 weeks ago, arguably better than the TV one.
  21. Yeah me too! Did a little swotting up on the guy. Defo a threat in the air! He was signed on a 5 year deal in 2009 and was playing off the bench 1st team football for AFCB at 15 due to player shortages. AFCB were in the shit at this point of his career and he played in the conference south and then league 2. That was the last time he ever played for them and has had various loan spells in the conference and league up until exeter. His strike record is varied but, bar his time at luton, he has scored fairly regularly when he was in the first 11 more often than on the bench. I had a look at a cherries forum and generally there was positivity about his play and wanting him to get a good move. Also Howe rated him it would seem and you would say he knew his onions when it came to youth development. I found it interesting he was given a one year deal last summer just as the got promoted to the top flight, if he was useless surely he would have been discarded then instead. So far it's between ourselves, Exeter and Portsmouth it would seem and I agree with one fan that pointed out that AFC fans would be delighted if we got to dick Bournemouth for the development fee after the pittance they paid for Fraser.
  22. Motherwell have made an offer for Fas El Bak, he's a player worth taking a gamble on imo. He would definitely offer a new dimension to our attack.
  23. I would highly recommend the radio 5 documentary aptly name named Hillsborough : the truth. It's about 2 hours but an excellent piece of journalism.
  24. I certainly wouldn't be binning shankland just yet. He's done really well at Helen and I think he will come back full of confidence and a point to prove
  25. Storie it is. Ballsy
