  1. There's no danger Motherwell won't want this game to go ahead, they would lose a lot of money if it has to be postponed. A poster on p&b made the fair point that Motherwell were very accommodating with afc in agreeing a postponement prior to Copenhagen game. It will be hugely disappointing if it is postponed though, it was promising to be a grand day out.
  2. The context of the type of season St M are having has to be applied to his stats and actually I think this could turn out to be a really good loan move. Being a striker for a team that has been struggling forces you to live of less chances and even more importance is added to each goal you do score. His previous stats show that the boy knows where the back of the net is, I'm hoping a season at Helen will add a sharper edge to his blade and give him the confidence to do what he does best when playing in a much better team.
  3. We all know how the table stands but looking ahead at games up to the split is interesting. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/fixtures Both ourselves and the victims have tricky away fixtures next week and they have already dropped points at rugby park this season. After the international break they are home to Hertz in an early sat KO then away to dundee the tuesday after. Another early ko sat away to motherwell takes them into the split and I can't help but think when you look at these fixtures you struggle to see them winning them all. After motherwell we are home to hamilton then away to hertz. Tynecastle is obviously a worry.......... but the fact they are playing the tuesday night prior away to ICT could really play into our hands. We obviously need to do the business against motherwell which is going to be tough, they have hit a patch of form but possibly Skippy might be suspended for it which would be a massive boost as he's always a pain in the arse to play against. If we take 9 from 9 from our final 3 with little good fortune we may even go into the split top of the league......
  4. The lad findlay looked pretty solid at cb for them I thought
  5. Taylor got the opener as well to be fair and despite his woeful distribution today I thought he had a pretty alright day at the office. He plays much better alongside Considine and overall we looked as solid as we have in a while today. Regardless though the CB positions surely have to be our top priority in the next window.... Oh for another Russel Anderson. I agree about Brown on the goal and it was a sad reminder of what we put up with for 10 years with langfield. That said he has looked far better since coming back into the team and it's potential suicide to change Keeper at this point in the season. Jack looked a little more like his old self for large parts of the game which is encouraging though I thought Smith did pretty well when he came on. His arrival coincided with the 10 min spell of dominance that led to our second goal and he played his part in the build up. Maclean played really well as has been said, it looks like he's actually starting to believe in himself a little bit now. He's also starting to remind me a little of Robson with some of his play. Have to say I thought Killie looked alright in the second half and I don't think Celtic will like playing them at all. Maggenis has improved to become a very effective player at this level and I can see him giving mulgrew et al a torrid time . I always liked his attitude and aggressive style but now his first touch and distribution have improved he's quite a handful (dare I say it but you could argue he would add something to our squad these days). Faubert looked pretty handy and he's likely to improve with gametime, i can see killie digging their way out of 11 place though i hope I'm wrong. Very disappointing to hear shit like that being said about McGinn.
  6. Love knows no punctuation Rico
  7. Get a room
  8. Hopefully there will be plenty on the day sales
  9. Couldn't agree more. Still at least there's no chance of Shinnie getting injured on international duty
  10. Another poachers goal from him too
  11. I had a knot in my stomach about this game all day and I really did not enjoy listening to that, I really thought the title was gone at 1-0. Some win though as it really sounded like we were getting outplayed for large periods of that game, lets hope thistle can take that form into Saturday against the victims. I'm really not sure if i can take 9 more games of this.....
  12. Get The fuck In. My dog is looking at me like I'm fucking mental.
  13. Sounds like it's all thistle now. I would get Reynolds off for Smith or Wright and get Shinnie to lb
  14. Yeah I've found no streams online
  15. I must have said "it's the hope that kills you" 1000 times this season manc
  16. Starting to get quite nervous about this one now..... even the good news that Hayes is back is making me nervous that he's being rushed back and will suffer a season ender 5 minutes in. This whole title challenging thing isn't good for my health
  17. Let's hope it goes to a replay and both games are a blood bath.
  18. Collum is reffing the tic game today.....
  19. Mcgovern would be a great signing
  20. Is his contract up manc? It's bad news but at least Hayes is due back and Scott Wright has impressed in the under 20's.
  21. Just watched the extended highlights. How the fuck did we not score more? It could have been 4 easily. The only negatives I could see were the 2 big chances utd had came from Taylor fluffing interceptions again but we should have been out of sight long before that. Also robsons post match interview is well worth a watch on red tv, he's going to make a very good manager one day IMO.
  22. That was my first thought when I saw it too Manc. It was a nice finish from Church also and that it's another poachers goal is encouraging...... Maybe we won't miss Rooney quite as much as we thought we might. Church tried a similar header against st j but didn't get his quite angles right as the ball was very slightly behind him as he headed. Lets hope he can keep this form up as thistle away has banana skin written ALL over it imo.
  23. Whilst I can understand the lack of optimism after the post few months I have to agree with Al. Playing well as Utd have been all the pressure is on them tonight after the county result. They REALLY need the points and I think we will tear them a new one on the counter. 3-1 dons. MacLean double and church
  24. Church impressed me, good touch, good link up play and really worked for the team. Fee was a little unlucky not to connect properly with a header in the first half too. Completely disagree about la's assessment of MacLean, I thought he had a really good game yesterday
