  1. Their first away game in the top flight on saturday, it will be interesting to see how many of their fans decline to spend the 'Blue Pound'. I suspect not many.
  2. Going out of Europe is a blow when it comes to getting someone else in. I like Storie for the role but it's a gamble. We may yet get someone on loan in on deadline day.
  3. Good move for both i would say. Not fussed after the signings of stockley and storey, we're pretty full up front.
  4. Well, assuming this comes pass, here's hoping this is the key cm we've been needing since Arnason left. Also here's hoping shinnie gets put to left back again.
  5. I missed the game due to a multitude of reasons and only just got to watch the highlights. After hearing so much about his performance I kept a particular eye on Taylor. I noted with interest Shinnie having a go at him in the 1st half and also when the goal came no-one really wanted to go near him despite his notable contribution. It could be patience is wearing thin with him within the squad as well as the support. I'm wondering if DM is planning on dropping him but not wanting to go with an untried defensive partnership in Europe which does make some sense. With that in mind I wouldn't be at all surprised to see O'Connor starting against ST J. Aside from the issue at CB and particularly Taylor we're starting to look a quite aggresive and direct side. Stockley is going to have a field day in the league and is fast looking a very shrewd bit of business. With the attacking options at our disposal I think domestically we are going to score a shitload of goals this season..... If we can only shore up the back line we could have a glorious season. Great to see Jack showing a return to form, this is a really big season for him and he's also out of contract at the end of the season. Overall I'm reasonably confident we can do the business in Slovenia.
  6. That's a bummer MBT
  7. You also have to add in matchday revenue which must be worth about half a mill per home game.
  8. Promising to hear Lewis is doing the biz. Ash Taylor? Gash Player more like.

  10. And a far more lucrative one.
  11. Yeah just spotted that. Cunting Fuck.
  12. Was Rooney playing through the middle with Stockley?
  13. Slightly bizzare he's just been released when we were all expecting him to transfer to Utd. I've still not given up hope on getting Jackson Irvine in....
  14. Assuming now, regardless of whether or not the leadership election even goes ahead, that Corbyn has withstood this coup I think Labour have some big and bold decisions to make. I think he should bin all the rebel mp's from the party and select corbyn supporting replacements to stand against the resulting independents in the by elections they would have to face.
  15. Manc you've pretty much just summed up exactly how I feel about it all. Well said.
  16. This is up there with skonto riga.
  17. I suspect he was sent on his holibobs the moment the ft whistle blew last thursday
  18. The only way we could afford stuart would be if we made a big sale.
  19. I was pretty impressed by stockley from what i saw from the extended highlights. He's clearly not just a big lump, he took up great positions and seemed very game aware. He did seem to tire toward the end so hopefully there's better to come with more gametime. I think he's going to be a canny signing, someone that can dominate a centre half in the air is an option we have lacked for quite a while. With the quality of delivery coming from the flanks these days I can see him winning a lot of headers in the box and that's never a bad thing is it. If given the opportunity he could form quite the partnership with Rooney perhaps.
  20. I have a feeling Portugal will have them

    Brexit Vote

Aye murdoch must have film of the pair of them fucking pigs or something. Also hope Corbyn holds firm, this has clearly been on the cards since his appointment.
  22. Defensive mid by the sounds of it, according to wiki he's 6ft 2 so that's encouraging
  23. The number of kids playing football now in America combined with the way Americans really get sports and know how to develop youth suggest to me that it's only a matter of time before the states starts producing world class players.
  24. Really? I'm very concerned about the defence for next season if that's the case.
