Christ, I must be slipping up now that I've commenced my seventh decade as I started last summer's one back in mid March 2022 much to Rico's annoyance.

Anyway, here goes, the exact date the window will open has yet to be announced but will be at some point in early June meaning we are potentially only just over six weeks away.

If we thought last year's one was busy, then I think its fair to say there is going to be a fair old churn this summer as well.

Difficult to forecast too much at this point given amongst other minor things we don't actually know who'll be in charge next season, but lets not let that stop us speculating too much.

Rumours in the papers suggesting we're still after the lad from Go Ahead Eagles that we came close to signing in January.

There will be all the usual chat about who's leaving and how much we'll rake in in fees, so knock yourselves out and get them fired in here lads. 

Either way we need a LB. Willie is in the Depressing Journal saying we need to get Scales back. Hmmmm, was he that good, or did Big Angus and Pollock make him look better than he actually was?

Bit surprised to see us being linked with another right sided centre half given McDonald, Williams and Stewart are all right sided.

I see Robson has said we won’t see any this weekend. Making me slightly nervous now. Word has it Stewart is on the verge of signing for the arabs, surely not?!?

None of the Arabs seem to know anything about it. Think it might be wishful thinking. Hopefully not.

Would it be beyond the realms of reality to ask if there is a fee involved, and if so, is it for us or them 😉

Imagine a wavering Teklic comes here just to quickly check Panda is happy before signing on the dotted line, hits the profile image page, thinks "but what if I put up a poorly judged image, or its the wrong kind of sheep?", self-doubt creeps in, he's up all night researching the differences between a cheviot and a scottish blackface, and in the morning high on caffeine and sleep deprivation his normally sound judgement goes out the window and he collapses in a heap of despair on the quilted floor of his opulent first floor library screaming  "I can feel the weight of my own insignificant mortality crushing me under the towering edifice of the complexity of the universe and I no longer comprehend if we have a purpose in this life or if the concept of fate is simply a random pinwheel in the blackness of the abyss, so fuck it I'll sign for Borussia Mönchengladbach instead".

Right back or defensive midfielder according to transfermarket.com if that means anything. Not a bad squad player if true rather than a one position guy. This years Dom Ball??

Had a wee watch of Or Dadia's highlights there. Played mainly right back although likes to cut into his left, and has played the odd game there, so could be an option. Although I doubt we're signing him as a first choice LB.

He looks alright, I wasn't exactly as enthralled watching him as I was Teklic, but he's a very Barry Robson player.

 

Being linked with Killian Phillips an attacking midfielder at Crystal Palace. Assuming this is back up option in case the rumours that Teklic is off to Trabzonspor are true.
