Anyway... Excuse the source, but if you go with what is being said It looks like Ramirez deal is close.

Think that is rehash of old stories. Will be really surprised if Ramirez gets a work permit.

ETA: Definitely old story as mentions taking Gurr on loan but he has been waived by Atlanta so no longer on their books.

He’s still regarded as a loan as MLS hold his contract (I think)

But yes, it’s basically regurgitated stories from weeks ago.

I see Greg Kiltie signed for St Mirren. There was a lot of talk a few years back that he was going to be class. I can say I've seen much of him, but would he have been worth a punt?

In all honesty, I don't think so.

Broke through into their first team over eight years ago but still only twenty four. Despite that less than a 150 first games in first team.

Had a couple of loan spells and knee surgery (good job McInnes is away or we'd have been in for him).

Decent enough wee player and will do ok with St Mirren but certainly wouldn''t take us to the next level.

How does this work then? We've got to take our case to the SFA, who decide if he's going to be given a work permit? This is surely a fairly flawed process? Already, the scum have a distinct advantage as they can afford to buy an international player, but I'm guessing that pretty much every signing of theirs who doesn't meet the international matches criteria will also be prioritised for a visa too. To be honest, I can't see what this guy has done to merit a visa over any other player, but then I have no idea how the SFA work their system.

Remember when we had that youth player who was an asylum seeker that we had to release because his families case was dismissed (as they had settled for a month or two in France before coming to the UK) and we couldn't secure a work permit for him? Then a month or so later the old huns signed him and got him a work permit.

It's just another symptom in the glasgow 2 disease that infects Scottish football.

I don't actually, I must've missed that one. Doesn't surprise me in the least. Thing is, it could just be that the Hun were more up on the rules and system than us, we need to be absolutely on top of the requirements as we'll definitely  struggle to justify visas for the level of player we'll be looking to take in.

Maybe? Or they just know more people who take these decisions.

I searched "asylum" on here and got this.

If I remember there was nothing more we could do as they had to go to France, then all of a sudden he signed for the huns a few weeks later.

What do you all think of Brown donning (excuse the pun), the newish AFC strip?

I like what he has been saying and how he wants trophies with us.

I'll support him while he's here.

?

I don't think he needs to be the focal point of our marketing campaign. It's disrespectful to those that have been here longer. Big Andy should have been the lead photo.

It's utterly classless that he hasn't apologised for the handling of the Logan situation, both from him and the club.

If there was any link between talking a good game and actually producing then I'd be happy with Brown's comments, but I don't think people should put as much onus on them as they do.

Not been on it in years, how busy is it these days?

Take a wee look in every now and again to see what they're saying.

Some of the old good guys still around but hell of a lot what arguments between certain individuals

Don't think you're missing much mate.
