Unless relegation becomes an issue - which it won't this season - I'm a believer in giving a manager a full season to see how things play out, rather than react in periods of relative isolation. I'm aware I'm in a minority here but I'm ok with zooming out and taking a longer term, big picture view and giving Robson getting the rest of this season to see how he fares.

Mikey Johnston would be a good signing if it was permanent and not another loan. I don't think it's realistic though as he's an international and I reckon would get offered more money elsewhere. If we go to four at the back permanently then I don't think we need a right back as we've an abundance of centre backs, so using Gartenmann and Milne to cover for Devlin should be fine. Not like we've got too many games where we'd need to rotate the team either. As Rico says, width is what we need if we're going 4-5-1 from now on.

I'm in agreement with those who say we need a Ramadani replacement, particularly if we're going to continue with three at the back. Without another covering midfielder, we'll struggle every time we play a good team. It's early days in the season and I'm still confident that the team will come together - and that when it does we'll be better than last season and comfortably the third best team in the league.
