  1. Good interview with the big guy despite Paul Slane... A bit Scotland-centric but Consi comes across really well.
  2. Hedges. Closest thing to a footballer we’ve had all season. Honorable mention for Hoban but it should take something special for defenders to win player of the year and no Dons have been special this year.
  3. Genuinely the worst thing about this whole affair is the “aberdeen way” that cormack has invented for the purposes of today’s press release ?
  4. Gallagher's contract initially ran until the end of January, the extension was until the end of the season. He'd be a very good signing for us, especially on a free.
  5. When your striking options are Griffiths (unfit, not playing), McBurnie (shite), Dykes (might be shite, dropped by QPR, doesn't score goals), Shankland (average Scottish Premiership striker), Nisbet (see Shankland), then I think desperation isn't a surprise.
  6. There's a massive Brexity hole in the middle of your foreign proposal...
  7. https://planetradio.co.uk/northsound/local/news/aberdeen-fan-listed-for-managers-job/ And the real Ross Nicholson's wiki I linked to earlier has been restored ?
  8. If there's any truth to that whatsoever - and given where it's been published that certainly isn't guaranteed - then you'd think an announcement would have to be happening reasonably soon. I'd quite like an American manager. Their successful sports people have a very positive attitude and if we're going down the Atlanta tie-in route then why not go the whole hog?
  9. I don't think we can rely on much on that wiki link. He was a keeper, which 100% guarantees he didn't play for Scotland once never mind 13 times, and the claim that he made 16 appearances for the Dons up to 1992 has to be ropey given that he was only born in 1975. I think we'd remember a 16/17yo playing that many games. I think whoever's quoting odds on him for the job is approaching Yerda Sellsavon territory.
  10. This guy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ross_Nicholson
  11. Couple of tremendous saves from Theo, what a keeper he was. Some of the "football" from the Dons in that clip is outrageously bad mind you.
  12. Forcing the keeper into several good saves isn’t what you want a centre forward to be doing really, they’re meant to beat the keeper so if he missed several chances then...
  13. I didn’t say every club that did it was a proper club, just that all proper clubs do it ?
  14. That's the way "proper" football clubs do it these days and if we don't follow suit then we'll just end up further behind.
  15. Some of these posts have got to be parodies. Surely there can't be adults who function normally in the real world who think like that?
  16. Lewis Hoban Taylor Consi Hayes McCrorie Ferguson Leigh Hedges McLennan Hornby 3-4-2-1 I'd have thought?
  17. Quite clearly forgot about Ryan Hedges here so he's getting a game ahead of Hendry, obviously.
  18. Wright departure confirmed and McCrorie signs permanently on a 3 and a half year deal. I'll bet McCrorie has a better career than Wright.
  19. Hornby is fit. Michael Ruth recalled from Arbroath tonight too. Someone must be planning on us using a lot of forwards for the next four months as we don't need all these guys to play one up front.
  20. Kamberi due to his "Hunnishness". And Considine because he used to be shite and god forbids anyone from ever changing their mind on a player.
  21. Lewis Hoban Taylor Consi Kennedy Ferguson McCrorie Hayes Kamberi Hendry Hornby We know all about eight of them but the three new guys will be interesting for a while at least.
  22. Cosgrove, Anderson, Main and Wright away, £2m in. Hornby, Hendry and potentially Kamberi in, with McCrorie now our player permanently, £150k-£200k out. Pretty good day all in I'd say.
  23. The Cosgrove money is funding a reshuffle, that's for sure.
  24. Aye, he's ex Scotland captain Colin Hendry's son.
  25. Hendry on loan to the end of the season confirmed by AFC and St Johnstone Twitter. Slightly odd unless there's a clause and intention to buy at some point.
