Because we've got a much better RB back in the form of Josh Magennis. When I say better I mean cheaper.

Mcardle is no rb but can play there, stunned he is being allowed to leave as with mawene leaving, Reynolds only on loan  we only have ando and considine to play at centre back.  maggenis getting a new deal is mind blowing

Maybe instead of loads of centre halfs and centre mids we'll have loads of full backs and wingers next season 

No surprise other than Mackie as I had heard he was going to be offered a contract.

this probably means there will (as there always are) be a few centre halfs floating around in summer on a free. so we'll have our usual few months of "we have a few irons in the fire" before signing a couple of 39 year old azerbaijanian center halfs just before deadline day.

 

they have to be seen to sign someone, so change for change's sake is as much as i'm anticipating.

Surprised McArdle wasn't kept on, this season's been his best so far. Otherwise no surprises really.

 

I can't imagine us signing players of substantially better quality than the ones we've let go, but a bit of fucking balance in the squad for the first time in a good few years could make a big difference. Do it.

McArdle will be replaced at RB by Magennis, or Ando!

Thats all you needed to say. The guy is a bottler and we're not going to progress as a club until players like him are removed. I have nothing against him personally but I just don't rate him.
