  1. It would appear this loan move is sink or swim for him. Fingers crossed DM can get him motivated, whatever other criticism that can be levelled at McInnes he is good at getting his players to work for him. Indeed I would say it's his strongest attribute.
  2. Well he was a ghost, they do disappear...
  3. I want to go see Rooney, got my dons top with me. It's a small ground so he might see and I think it would be nice for him to see dons fans still give a shit about him.
  4. Check out @Oldfirmfacts1’s Tweet: Good effort from Saints fans here ?
  5. Yes please.
  6. Sauce? Find that hard to believe.
  7. I have high hopes for GMS this season, think he looks a lot sharper so far and is playing with a smile on his face. I would happily play Niall through the middle, he's lost half a yard of pace but he knows how to finish.
  8. Would much prefer we went with Anderson for the season.
  9. Maybe but 1st team football is quite the draw
  10. I was more meaning the club being in a huff with hibs for not just bending over and taking the derisory bid. Can't see them wanting to let Allan go to Hibs now in other words.
  11. Scott Allan worth a look now McGinn has gone to Villa and the tim seethe against hibs is in full flow?
  12. I thought Anderson turned the game for us when he came on, all of a sudden their defence found themselves looking at their own goal. Also re Anderson, he's got a fair jump on him. People always assume smaller players will be shite in the air but he was winning headers against much bigger defenders. He'll defo play some part against Dundee.
  13. I'm going down to Manchester for two weeks from monday, going to try and catch a game.
  14. Sadly it looks like they have a good chance at europa league football. When you take stadium revenue into account that will be the better part of ten mill into their coffers.
  15. Why? It was violent conduct all day long.
  16. Michael Stuart tore him a new one on sportsound tonight
  17. I would hope that the singnificantly increased solidity of the defence might give DM the confidence to play a more attacking strategy.
  18. Whatever else, proud of the dons tonight.
  19. You're right actually that's exactly what I'm saying and it's a perfectly legitimate choice to do so. I'm not criticising anyone for having their different view or expecting them to change theirs just because mine is different. If I had been at the game I just wouldn't have sung it because it would have made me feel uncomfortable. Given this seems to bother you so much maybe it's you needs to lighten up a bit..... Or is your expectation that I should do something that I'm not comfortable with just to appease you?
  20. Or perhaps a significant sum for McKenn would mean his budget doesn't get affected by the new stadium
  21. Oh she wants it, she's just waiting till she can be as sure as she can that she will win it.
  22. Just moving all fixtures back to Saturday 3pm would boost crowds significantly regardless of whether they were on the telly. This not being allowed to broadcast a live game at 3pm is outdated nonsense now it's so easy and lucrative for clubs to have their own online tv coverage.
  23. we weren't voting for Independence in 79.
  24. There's defo a player in Stewart but could be he needs to be the main man. I also didn't think he looked particularly fit..... I would be pretty underwhelmed if we signed him. The striker we have been linked with that excited me most was Coulibally, knows where the back of the net is and has that wild card element that we lack. One thing I will add. I think Cosgrove is being prematurely written off. I can understand why no-one seems to think he can chip in with a lot of goals but he's young and hasn't had much game time at previous clubs. In short given his age and previous first team experience at clubs we have little knowledge off I don't think we have seen enough of him to comment. I'll tell you what though he took his goal against WBA really well. Great header from just in front of the penalty spot into the bottom right hand corner. He made it look easy but from the distance he was at he had to get it in one of the corners to beat the keeper. It could, of course, have been a fluke but it looked like a strikers goal to me.
  25. Nah Fallon never had a goal scoring record like LS, he's been banging them in for a year. Yes it's at a lower level but he's clearly a goal scorer. I reckon Shankland is going to have a pretty good career.
