Why? Because he suggested a player we are interested in should also be of interest to a rival? He's just doing his job, it doesn't mean he is a hun. Indeed I'm pretty sure Michael Stewart is no lover of the tribute act.

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
tlg1903 replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
I think it's about time for this threads title was updated. Suggestions? Mine would be dirty filthy hun scumbag vermin (deceased) and the tribute act that followed news. -
disappointing to concede but overall not a bad first half at all. Forrester looks a real find, his feet are quick and he has a great touch.
-
non goal scoring striker scores very nice header
-
Ball is having a good game too, we are starting to dominate it.
-
Shinnie is at Lb, wonder if he'll be there for the Burnley game, happy days if so. Re the new players Ferguson looks proper box to box and forrester has good feet. Cosgrove is putting himself about well too.
-
I cant help but wonder if mcginn might play more centrally as his pace diminishes. He's certainly technically a good enough player to adapt his game you would think.
-
I would also add that as good as joe is he has a mistake in him from time to time. Ward never really put a foot wrong and I think he will go on to be a very successful goalie. Woodman I have no idea, didn't see enough of him to make a real judgement. Re Wright from an earlier post I think he has to be given a real chance this season and touch wood he will take it. Hopefully the competition will spur gms on too. I was pondering whilst walking the dog earlier that perhaps McKenna's successful introduction to thw squad and the manner of his introduction (after the 3-0 qf horsing to mwell) has given DM a bit more confidence in giving youth a chance.
-
I think there's a player in Cosgrove and there is defo a player in May. I'm wondering if Dm is thinking about Anderson getting more game time this season or giving mcginn a more centrap role and putting wright out wide. Don't get me wrong I would like to see a new striker come in though. Re wallace? No. Just no. Fucking hun issues aside he's too injury prone and is 30 now. Would love to see a new lb more than any other position in all honesty.

All the best Adam and thanks for the memories. I'll have to start keeping an eye on Salford now

http://www.donssupporterstogether.com/loyalty-points/ DST email to the club. Fairly well put I would say, it will be interesting to see how the club responds.

As I get increasingly worried about English prospects it is pleasing to see brazil start to play a bit. If the sassanachs get past Columbia which isn't inconceivable they have a reasonable chance of making the final. If that depressing thought becomes reality you.could see the English shitting it against Brazil.
-
We live in hope BB, I think it's a tough one to call. Columbia's cb pairing are talented but young, Englands defence pretty untested but if it clicks could work for them. BTTS and over 2'5goals will be my bet.

Cosgrove was talking about this on off the ball last week. I don't see why we couldn't have bbc scotland/stv highlights programme at the end of each day. I would much rather be hearing what the likes of Thompson, Stuart, Miller etc had to say about it than some of the numpties that have been put on so far.
-
Shalke can play att mid and wide too.
-
Re shalke, said before I rate him. Would be good business, we don't have anyone like him. He reminds me of Scott Mcdonald.
-
Though maddison was worth it for that goal.
-
I suspect it might be the argie press Kow, they are likely to be beneath the vip section. Could be wrong though
-
Been a great tournament so far manc ?
-
Modric is easily the best CM I have ever seen in the flesh, Iniesta isn't too far behind but I just adore Modric. Outstanding player.
-
Maddison's contract is worth an awful lot more than McKenna's. We would never get 15 million for him.
-
Good share, thanks for that. I had never even heard of the Anglo Scottish cup but nice one on stuffing Celtic at the San Giro This is pretty much as tough a draw as both teams could have got which is why everyone felt unease at first but now, having accepted that we will probably go out, I'm looking forward to the tie. It's a free swing basically and as I have said previously our squad is far more used to starting back so early which I'm hoping will level the scales a we bit. Re scottish and english football. It's ridiculous to even compare them given the financial gulf. What I will say is this though, Scottish football at it's best is an awful lot of fun and far more entertaining than the EPL imo. I say that as someone who used to watch a lot of english football and still listen religiously to the likes of football weekly. Up here you get loads of really close games, fascinating rivalry's, affordable prices and most away grounds are only 3 hours or so away at the most. There was something to play for at pretty much every match right up to and including the last fixture of the season. The technical ability of the top league is lower without question then plenty of other european leagues but it's very quick and intense and I've seen plenty of big names come to Scotland and not be able to hack it, Joey Barton most recently (he really looked clueless up here btw, it had nothing to do with the standard around him either he just couldn't adapt to the pace of the game). Sure celtic run away with the league every year but at the moment they are just so much richer than anyone else, I'm sure you can relate to this playing in the EPL.. The gulf of resource between Celtic and Aberdeen is probably higher than the gulf between Burnley and Man City to put it in a little context. I think Burnley will go through after 2 very close encounters but I wouldn't put the house on it.

Nice to see some Burnley fans here, make yourselves at home folks. Tough draw for us like, you're a well run outfit and whilst I don't really pay too much attention I was really chuffed for you guys with the season you had. Dyche seems a good guy, sure he's had offers to leave too. All in I'll be very surprised if we get through this though our squad is far more used to starting the season so early I'd be very surprised if you had any hassle in Aberdeen, generally afc fans are pretty accepting outwith fans of the tribute act. That said I wouldn't go waving any England flags too vociferously just in case. You know yourselves every support has their wanker element and the flag of st george won't go down very well. I'm not saying that is right but it is what it is.

Waddle was fizzing, it was pretty funny. Connor McNamara was good though, fine commentator. Listened to 606 after, fuck me some England fans hate Stirling. Thought he looked really nervous but overall sadly I was pretty impressed by England and it's a depressingly good result for them. A Last minute winner that you totally deserve always gives your team a bounce and they will stuff Panama next game most likely. The Belgium game could be a cracker going on both teams performances today though.

I'm supporting Portugal. My mum spends a lot of time out there and the locals are genuinely really nice to her. They she feels so comfortable out there takes a lot of pressure of me since she was widowed. And they play in red.
