  1. No I can't say I have.
  2. Laudrup was a fucking brilliant player, nothing more to add on that. Spencey was superb on RS this morning, proper got Campbell riled up. If anyone wants to hear it you'll get it on iplayer. Probably about 820 am.
  3. Ageed manc. Christie was much more consistent for us that season than Maddigol.
  4. I think Jim Traynor was a cunt long before that.
  5. My feeling on this is that we need to focus on the present and the future. The club needs to make a unified stance and hopefully get other clubs support too. I've been posting on this board for long enough for most to know that I'm no Milne sycophant but I'm not going to chastise him for previous failures when he's currently trying to do the right thing. I thought his statement was actually really good. Calm, reasonable, factual and as a result hard to ignore. Also not a concomitant or diktat in sight. Don't get me wrong I do understand where you are coming from I just don't think there is anything to be gained by dredging up the mistakes of the past.
  6. So, the consensus since the Mckenna appeal has been that the club need to respond to this and not just take it. Club responds from it's highest possible voice but now actually it's a bit rich coming from him? Is this honestly whats happening?
  7. No McKenna, what the actual fuck!
  8. That's a fairly decimated squad, surely a record for youth players in an 18 under dm
  9. Maybe they just like his books
  10. We have looked really solid and a threat at times. Arguably the better side, certainly want it more GMS is turning out to be a brilliant signing, he really is unplayable at times.
  11. We came closest to a goal in the entire game when ball hit the bar with a free kick....
  12. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45682129 Dare I say it but I actually feel some sympathy for Doncaster after reading that. That said I still see no reason why the fixtures couldn't be played over 2 weekends.
  13. Och you'll go, I'll go.... Pretty much everyone who goes now will go. Football fans are addicts and we can't help ourselves. E.g. Mind when you caved on that season ticket DD?
  14. I wouldn't say I was a particular fan of levein teams but I certainly respect them for what they are. The man himself I've had a lot of time for ever since his calling referee bias after that game at mordor with utd. He's been pretty funny recently too.
  15. Boyota sent off and will be suspended as bookings the league cup count in the league ,Ajer injured so very possibly could miss. Who are they going to be playing at the back on Saturday I wonder...
  16. One thing I would say is for all hibs attacking forays Lewis didn't really have that much to do. Part of that is down to poor decisions and shooting from hibs but the other is down to some excellent defending. A team is built on it's defence and I can see this team really coming together the next month or so. Say what you like about DM but his teams really play for him, if we get a result on sat it's been a fantastic weeks work regardless of how pretty it has been. I'll take victories over aesthetics any day of the week.
  17. Good start for wilson, 1-0 dons
  18. He's had a depressingly good start manc, no question of that. Lets not get carried away though.
  19. If you don't see how it's out of date you didn't read the article very well. The point is it's far easier to travel and with modern football practices and coverage playing away in europe is no real hardship anymore. I.e. Away goals are outdated.
  20. It should be scrapped imo, out of date. Jonathon Wilson explains the why here if you world care to take a wee look Seebassit https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/mar/13/the-question-football-away-goals
  21. I'm not convinced GMS's at the end was a pen 2bh
  22. Oooooooo Mcginniesta! Brilliant free kick,so hard to get it up and down from that range.
  23. No I'm 39 but I thought I should drop down to your intellectual level. I'm well aware that some people think the place is a dump, where did I suggest otherwise? Other opinions are fine too but when they are as stupid as some of the things you were suggesting? This is a football forum not a special needs school. 1. what the fuck has the housing around the stadium got to do with whether or not Scotland play there? It's completely irrelevant. 2. if you honestly need an explanation why monies generated by scottish football staying in scottish football and significant wedge not being handed over to another sport is a good thing then there really is no hope for you. 3. "For Scottish football to move forward it needs a radical overhaul and cutting the links to glasgow should be step one." what the fuck does this even mean? How does the SFA cut links with glasgow? You want Maxwell to hold a presser stating no professional football to be played in the largest population centre in the country or something? Away back to licking windows mate. Literally the only fair point you had was about transport but that can, should, and hopefully will, be worked on. One other thing I would add as I've seen a few post's mentioning it. I know there are some within the supports of the ugly sisters that don't support Scotland but it really is the diehard bigots. I've been away to Kiev and Milan to watch Scotland games and there was loads of Rangers and Celtic fans there supporting Scotland. To state that the majority won't support the Scottish national side because they support Ireland or England instead is way off the mark if you ask me.
  24. Cool story bro. Why don't you just say you don't agree because you fucking hate Glasgow and be done with it?
  25. Really don't see what the whinge fest is all about. Everything I am hearing about this decison seems positive. They are going to try and find a way to renovate the stadium so there will be better views behind the goal. Tick. The SFA will no longer be contractually obliged tp play all competitive games at Hampden and can use other grounds. Tick. Not one fucking penny leaving the Scottish game for the SRU. Tick. Seems to me this is a really good outcome for the Scottish game. Oh and Willie haughey was on the radio last night saying investment is not a loan but a no strings gift.
