Agreed. Craig is fine but the hyperbole about his bond often verges from ridiculous to nauseating. One thing craig is lacking though is that I would say all previous bonds have had at least 1 great bond movie and he hasn't. Moore had the spy who loved me, dalton had the living daylights and brosnan had goldeneye (still the last great bond movie). Casino royale and spectre were decent enough but nothing special. Qofs and skyfall were shite. I would say spectre is probably his best, of them all it felt most like a bond movie.

Some big decisions for DM ahead of this one. Logan will defo be back in but I think there is a strong case for Ball to go into midfield for Gleeson. Aside from that I would be at peace with going the same line up regardless of who is fit. Dropping May for Wilson is certainly a possibility but that could be devastating for his confidence given his performance last week, I'm personally of the opinion we should be at least giving him the chance to show that it wasn't a one off. Equally though we could bench him, and he could come on on 60 minutes really fired up. I just hope McInnes doesn't try and get too cute with team selection but I fancy us as they are having to adapt to the loss of McGinn

The club have made it known they want ten mill for him, not saying that's what he would defo go for but it's going to have to be at least double 3.5 mill before we start even thinking about negotiating. I'm not sure McKenna will be phased, he seems very level headed and will jist want to play. Reading between the lines I think he is quite happy to do another season at the dons before moving on. Obviously I could be wrong but in terms of a career path it makes sense.

Which is odd, he was a goal pretty much every second game at Killie last season. As i said i think that's great business for Thistle.

Of course and I will be looking around for the best odds but I'm going to be putting on a double of btts and over 3.5 because I think there's a very good chance of that happening. Quite a rambling statement but clearly not too happy about the result. Ultimately the rules are the rules and form is not a part of the process.

Possibly a shrewd move by the club not releasing the fee imo. We clearly have a wee bit of cash to spend this summer and I suspect they are trying to keep their powder dry so other clubs don't know what we have available. This may yet turn out to be a good window for us as a result.

Fair play to him if he wants to keep on playing. I imagine they didn't keep him on as a player as he would be too expensive.

Considines oy problem is his lack of pace. He's a great defender full stop. When he is at left back though his most underrated skill is his crossing, he can put in a cracking ball from deep or the byline. Would much prefer shinnie at lb though as he is the complete package though I would concede we miss his midfield influence but Ferguson looks more than capable of filling that void.
