Ryan Jack is a professional footballer, out of contract and free to work wherever he wants. Same as all other lads that left - Taylor, McGinn. Why do you think McGinn is leaving? Money, much more of it on offer elsewhere. Good luck to the Jack. He was never much of a captain, should never have been captain and has been replaced by a better player and replaced by a better captain. As for usual rangers kerfuffle - could not care less who he plays for. losing sleep over it? No.
-
Rangers got him for £0. He is getting £6k a week from them trebling his Reds wage. They have 42k season ticket holders - FOUR times more than us meaning they have bigger wage budget.

Deek to Sunderland??

Same sort of garbage went on with Calderwood (going to rangers rumours). considering Moyes was on £5m contract at sunderland its obvious Derek McInnes wouldn't turn it down if asked - its a massive step up challenge wise, notice wise, financially. Its like anyone in life in a professional role. You have a cushy well paid number but maybe you fancy a shot at a bigger gig. I've heard all this "McInnes has taken us as far as he can" stuff. Where else can AFC go? We are already punching above weight. No chance winning league at moment best shot at it was lost season 15-16. And up against it in cups as either rangers/Celtic will be be opponents. We have no money for transfers, basic £2k a week wages and 10k season tickets. McInnes comes across as driven, passionate, hard working. But board at AFC are a shower of incompetent knumskulls - especially that boring theuchter S.Milne. Lot of them have made a complete pigs breakfast of stadium fiasco. McInnes is probably on Sunderland list of 'possibles' along with 15 others! Resigned - rubbish. Sunderland fans would be hugely disappointed if he gets that job. -

Pure football forum tittle tattle speculation. Someone says/posts something and it's taken as fact. -
Scottish Cup Final - Dons vs Tims

Yeah, well to be honest he (mcinnes ) is not known for his substitutions. Plus they have dembele, kolo toure, sviachenko and rogic to bring on as subs. We don't have anywhere near that quality of player as a sub. McGinn has always it seems to me flattered to deceive in big games. Its probably why he has 50 caps for northern Ireland as an impact sub. It was a very close outcome of result - probably just matter of quality. He brought in O'Conner as we were being overrun in midfield. 20 min period they were knocking on door. After match McInnes directly said in the interview with sportsound at FT our wage bill for the whole 1st team squad is £42k per week. So they're on £2k a week on average. We've 10k season ticket holders. They've 45k season ticket holders. We are punching above our weight achievement wise this season. Stockley is far more effective than Rooney - same as goodwillie was. Both of them (goodwillie and stockley) are awkward for defenders simply by being ungainly - Rooney isn't really. He is just good for tap ins. Best thing next season is use stockley as target man - it works. -
Scottish Cup Final - Dons vs Tims

No loser mentality bud. 82,83,84,86,90 - I was at every final mate. Seen my team lift cup many a time. All great teams lose final. Us today and Chelsea. That's they way it goes. We gave our all - it wasn't enough. But I walked out of Hampden with my head high knowing players gave everything. -

No anger in defeat from me. I was delighted with performance of players. We came, took Celtic on and contributed to a fantastic final. The second goal for them was coming long long before O'Conner came on or Rooney. Did you see amount saves Lewis made? We unfortunately lack that little bit of class and clinical approach of 80's. They have top players to come on like Rogic. I enjoyed today. No sour grapes from me. Simply delighted players come of final with huge respect as lots people thought it would be a walkover. We showed we are a good all round team. -
For £50k a week why not?

There is little point a vote on this issue occurring on 19th June from anyones perspective. The club know they are setting themselves up for failure currently. One - ACC are in a messy state from reading what is going on as various councillors are resigning or being sacked or suspended. Unstable local authority from ruling angle therefore application has been pulled for the time being. Two - the plans are not up to scratch from a variety of perspectives and would have been rejected full stop on 19th June one day before Europa League draw. Nonsensical transport plans - and its just a load of flashy images at the moment with little substance that fails to meet local or national authority guidelines from a variety of means. Club keep asking people to see the wider picture - well, maybe they do see wider picture now as well. The plans are currently not fit for purpose - end of story. So they are being reassessed, reworked by the club to give them any sort of chance of punting chance come October.

The new stadium is delayed you say? I must say I am absolutely shocked at this - totally astounded. After all this new Dons stadium idea has never been delayed before since the idea first came to light in 1999. 18 years and counting....................

Its almost certain that all sporting events will have a minutes silence this week including Europa Final, FA Cup and Scot FA Cup. Nothing to do with AFC decision - mandatory I would have thought for all events. Its probably more of an issue for Man Utd who play Europa League final tomorrow. They must be distracted. Not getting involved in politics and horror of it all as basically a football forum not the place to talk about these events. I'd hasten to add hopefully the Dons or Celtic players (human though they are) will not get too involved pyschologically in the awfulness of it all as it will effect the final. Fully focused on the final please including fans. Must not let something like this overshadow the final.

Danny Rogers 2nd choice for Falkirk. Seen him make 2 or 3 massive blunders in championship. Not a commanding presence in box.

Neither, I am just super intelligent. -
Would not be slightest bit surprised to see Ryan Jack leading team out with armband on come Saturday 3pm. If its a disastrous result its meltdown on here and twitter. Couldn't care less who he signs for, but shouldn't start cup final and somebody asked about transparency. Certainly a lot of bullshit going on as supposedly he had a groin tear and operation only for him to look pretty fit to me v Thistle. Very very quick recovery.

Sorry for pointing out we could draw AC Milan - sorry about that. Bit of a disaster isnt it. Sigh roll of the eyes...... -
I dont think the manager could have been any more transparent if he tried post match: "Ask everyone to enjoy the week, and support the team. Lets concentrate on what is important". Same petty stuff went on when Ryan Christie joined, same knee-jerk reactions. Its a PR disaster for Ryan Jack but its not important really.

Seriously doubt AFC will be seeded in QR3 (if we qualify) but going to be tough whoever we get as amongst seeded are: AC Milan Sociadad Everton Lyon Zenit Marseille Dinamo Zagreb -
Partick are not bothered and not even making effort, been blown away by Aberdeen,
-
Regardless of whom he signs for should not be anywhere near cup final squad. Turning into a PR disaster.
-
How is it going in Peterhead. Has the Blue toon moved into the 21st century yet? Last time I was there I stayed 10 minutes - thank god.
-
No idea why some Dons fans are getting knickers in a twist over Ryan Jack leaving - no matter whom he signs for. He is out of contract, player free to go wherever he wants, sign for whoever he wants and play for whoever he wants. Could not give a flying hoot if he signs for Rangers. To be brutally honest Jack was never much of a player. Much of a muchness player who is neat and tidy but has no leadership qualities and should never have been captain of Aberdeen not in a million years. He should not get anywhere near the Scottish cup final team. In 7 years playing for Aberdeen he has never been a fans favourite, never heard his name being chanted on mass by Dons fans and is easily replaced.
-
I would imagine MK Dons want him that isn't to say he will sign for him. I have spoken to someone today who is friends with his wife/partner. He is off out of Aberdeen as he can get more money elsewhere and has clubs wanting to sign him. He would easily get £8K a week at Rangers they have got 41,000 season ticket holders. No of us know what MK Dons are offering players but I'd not be the slightest bit surprised if he gets a bit more from that sort of club due to money on offer down south. To be quite frank and brutally honest he has never been much of a captain. Why this player got the armband is a mystery. A neat tidy player but he has no leadership whatsoever. Shinnie is simply captain material. Its not a case of good riddence but its is very much a case of so what? And, if the height of Rangers ambition to overtake Celtic is players like Ryan Jack then we have nothing to worry about.
-
At MK Dons or Rangers he can get x4 times the wages he gets at Aberdeen on a 3 year contract. Not sure this is one offer at Hearts/Hibs. Its money really - not the level of wages on offer at Aberdeen.
-
Today I was informed Jack is wanted by Hibs, Hearts, Rangers and MK Dons. Rangers have made approaches to his agent for discussions but things have been a PR up in the air for him given the impending Scottish Cup Final. Story is from his partner via another female. Leaving Aberdeen for elsewhere. No idea if he really is injured or its a smokescreen. Overall its all a bit of a PR own goal for him as he is not going to be involved much for the final now so its a shame really or at least he shouldn't be in the final. It all becomes a PR own goal for the club and McInnes if he leaves for rivals and gets to play in the final especially after being 'injured'. Its glaringly obvious who the captain should be next week. Eric Black told Ferguson a few weeks before 1986 final he wanted to leave and was told not to come back to the club as team needed to focus on the final v Hearts. I would say next week is crucial - crucial team focuses and everyone knows who is doing what for next week. As far as I am aware Ryan Christie shakes hands and says goodbye on Sunday after Thistle. McInnes should say to Jack no problem where you are going but stay away until after the SCF.
