  1. FT Siroki Brijeg 2 v Ordabasy 0. Kazak team are not up to much, and the Bosnian team have far more threatening players. Ordabasy have never won a game in Europe and play 2nd leg 600km from home ground. Bar a collapse its Bosnians. And they are not up to much but not bad.
  2. Its a step up in my view from McGinn. Maloney is a proven English Premier League internationalists all be it at the end of his career. He is sensational at free kicks and free kick delivery.
  3. Siroki Brijeg 2 v Ordabasy 0 HT. Siroki Brijeg to me look ok and have dangerous players.
  4. Look he has signed, its a 1 year deal. Its not my news its not speculation its Richard Gordon, Willie Millir etc Speaking about the signing on BBC Scotland
  5. He has signed a 1 year deal but not passed medical yet.
  6. Kairet Almaty won 6-0. Haugasund are up 7-0 v Coleraine. Shkendija won 3-0. Still 0-0 Siroki Brijeg
  7. Not good. Dons legend of a player from Gothenburg era. Heard he liked a pint - so wants to look after himself.
  8. To assist you. It's not legal really as far as I am aware but multi-millions of people do it globally, and just about every pub I go to stream games on big screens. How is it illegal for me to watch Al Jezzera Coverage of La Liga online? Premier Sports is 1 viewing platform and they probably subcontract the product (match) they show via someone else. You are paying to access the online platform from Premier Sports - they dont have 'exclusive' coverage. I use a variety of platform(s) to watch football - Apps, BT Sport App and streams which list all live games at any point in time across global frontiers. For example I had a look just now and every EL game is live via a variety of streams. Streaming clearly relies on lots of things. Your broadband type, connection, laptop type, ease of stream, how much crap you have on your laptop (clearing cache) etc etc etc but just about every stream has the potential to watch the game via 4 or 5 different streams so you find a stream that is best quality. I had a look just now and there are 2 streams of Kairat Almaty v Altantas available. In addition many games are shown on Youtube.com or via a host of other apps easily accessible. Watching Sky, BT Sport via normal methods is much better and hassle free yes but there is no need to have Sky Sports Packages or BT Sport or Premier Sports as they are all available for free really if you want. You can for example use AD (ad blocker) and it stops pop ups. In addition there are numerous types of providers - Firefox, Chrome etc etc. Basically you dont need a Premier Sports package - all you need is good internet, 30 minutes of research and a decent tablet. You can watch a Premier Sports game 'live' via a stream without a subscription. Disclaimer: The above is not to say I actually 'stream' football but its common knowledge how very easy it is.
  9. In this day and age, there is absolutely no need to buy any sports package and tie yourself into deals. All you need is good solid internet, a capable TV and a good laptop. You can stream any amount of games globally at anytime - free.
  10. Only sort of posts you understand are one's that include the word 'min'
  11. Title Winners bet - Scotland SPL: Celtic Championship: Dundee United League 1: Raith Rovers League 2: Stenhousemuir Lowland League: East Kilbride Highland League: Brora Rangers
  12. Football forums are generally faceless, uncreative and virtual especially when your team is being discussed. That is true of any fan board of any team - AFC are no different. I often have a look through the fan forums of Hearts/Hibs and Arsenal (all of which are hugely popular and more popular than Donstalk) but the common themes are common sense going out the window when the team is being discussed and short sighted partisan views and opinions without any rationality. The majority of views expressed on fitba forums are not 'real world' opinions and the people posting generally would not act or speak in the way they do on here in the real world. If you like there is a form of 'escapism' on here that appeals. That's fine, its the same with Facebook and Twitter as well. Go into the AFC club shop and ask them how many blue away shirts have been bought & ordered online. Kids love the colours and they are generally not dragged into the dogma that most have expressed over this shirt. The shirt is selling - views on here relfect that sort of short sightedness that is the centre of lots of fan behaviour and attitudes (of which ever club) but its not rationale. The blue shirt is selling and selling well.
  13. Folk generally give partisan red googled views on football forums. That is the case with any club. As far as I am aware the blue kit has been selling well, very popular with kids and lots have been sold.
  14. Yes, of course defence is important to the team. They need a new centre-half, but I always guessed that centre-halfs were easier to come by in the market. A big lad with broad shoulders, commanding who can get to know Reynolds lets face it there are many of them around. Plunk a unit in the centre of the defence and they can do the job. Up front (centre forward) need a new force. Rooney is gauranteed goals via tap ins, pens but he is absent and isolated so much during games. V Rijeka (away) Rooney was a sub. He might also have been sub v Sociadad. Cup Final v Celtic (Rooney was sub). Goodwillie was pants at Aberdeen and he looked like his mind was elsewhere but the shear fact he was all over the place disrupted defenders. I would make Rooney and Stockley compete with a new man up front. Steve May is a work horse and very good at free kicks and corners.
  15. Key this season is that centre forward role. The Rooney \ Stockley position. Both Rooney and Stockley can be sub's - need a new robust busy figure up front as Rooney can be a passenger but offers a great deal for last 20 mins.
  16. Used to often go to Cowdenbeath games if they had a midweek game or at weekend occasionally. Greg Stewart played for them and he was v.good, very good but raw then. Would doubt there is much chance of getting him permanently as Birmingham City wages will be big. Very very good player - SPL suits him better as Championship is brutal and competitive. Excellent player but what happens if Redknapp goes and he is recalled? Big risks, with these loan signings - if he becomes key for Dons and then goes back after playing well you lose a key player mid-season.
  17. Over the years our club has witnessed many a drama. The Goodwillie signing saw people 'nae gan back', the Jimmy Calderwood saga saw folk threatening to 'send the hun back to minksville' and the recent Ryan Jack fiasco saw many hoping 'some 'unt wid brak his legs'. But this summer we has seen it all. We have seen fights on Big Brother, we have seen Grenfell Tower burn down and we have seen terrorism on the streets. None of them NONE of them surpass the absolute classical virtual backlash as regards the handbags over the Dons new 'Hunish' (sic) blue away kit. Absolutely pathetic.
  18. www.specsavers.com Presume you lot don't wear 'blue jeans' and refuse to go outside on a sunny day as the sky is 'blue'.
  19. Its quite odd (IMO) the way people get all hot under the collar about faceless depersonal posts on football forums issuing insults etc. Doubly, its midboggling crazy getting all angry about 'not wearing' a blue change kit that is not anywhere near the shade of rangers kit and not anywhere the shade of blue of the near past kits (north sound kit, jamie smith ADT) the club has worn. Half of you uber dons fans have spent nearly every waking hour dissing my posts with 'have you you got the facts\sources to back that' and I give you the FACTS I.e. we have long had blue away kits (as recently as 2004) and even blue home kits and that Aberdeen FC originally played in blue. The JVC kit had dark blue in the color? Facts that the club most probably used when formalising this kit - blue (the shade being used NOT RANGERS BLUE is integral to the clubs very own foundations). Yet, many come back on here with hardman 'I'm not wearing blue' 'I'm not wearing pink' shirts, "I'm not wearing hun kits blah blah blah'. Idiots spouting idiotic reactionary nonsense. Its not Rangers blue!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. yeah, It's not even anywhere near Rangers blue - no comparison whatsoever. Is it less blue than the kit from 2005? It's less blue than Northsound kit from 1990's! Blue is a colour we have worn for decades. Some of clubs greatest players wore blue kit including Jim Forrest, Joe Harper, Ernie, Ally Shewan. Jesus.
  21. Sorry to preach to the misinformed but Aberdeen FC are originally a blue kit team in the same way Juventus play in Black and white. The original Aberdeen FC wore a lot of blue of this shade and when the clubs all amalgamated blue was the original colours. It was not until 1905ish that we became Black and Golds. So, in recent years we have had many blue kits even back to 60's you will see images of us in blue kits. Blue is an integral colour to our club history (may I take this opportunity to remind you this is a unique blue not the blue of Rangers). Dons may be red and white but blue/blue and white was our original colours before black and gold. We did not wear red until 1939. In addition, our shorts should be white, not red - our original short colours. Red shorts did not come about until late 60's
  22. AFC Chairman has no ideas and is a clueless idiot. Imagine asking already financially hard pressed fans for money in the local press, to fund new players and back Derek McInnes just a week after the club making £1.2 in transfer fees. Last week he promised players in by the end of the week. Not a sausage. You have got over a £1m+ to spend on players wages, you idiot!!!!!!!!! Last week the manager said he was aiming for Europa League group stages - he has a tough job on his hands unless the board back him with Hayes money. You would think a person in the main leadership position would wait until a few players come in, act on that excitement THEN you make a statement asking people to buy season tickets. This man is an idiot. The club already put the price of matchday entry and season tickets up and they wonder why season ticket sales are poor? That £1m from Hayes is going on the new stadium fiasco - Milne's pet project.
  23. Neil Alexander Johnny Hayes Ryan Jack Aaron Lennox Niall McGinn Joe Nuttall Peter Pawlett Lawrence Shankland Cammy Smith Ash Taylor All the above have left. All wages freed up. In addition, they got £1m plus for Hayes. Surely that means that Derek McInnes has lots of funds available. AFC have more money than any other club currently. Derek doesn't need more money via turnstiles at the moment. Everyone knows that the club has a stable 10,500 season ticket holders. Not going to get much more ST sold in the current NE economic climate many people have better things to do with money and feel pressures financially. The guy does not come across well (Milne) and last week it was all Dave Cormack in multi-millionaire etc. But time is moving on, training starts on Monday. Got an important game on 13th July - QR2. The squad is not fit for purpose currently.
  24. It won't be long before the excuses start getting peddled out as to why players are not arriving. One today, Stewart Milne: "If we can see our average crowds back at the 14,000 level for next season that gives Derek the added powers to go out there and continue to strengthen the squad as we move forward." Funnily enough, I guessed the 'added powers' McInnes has were all the wages freed up from the masses of players who have left the club and the £1m + they made from Hayes. Or maybe they just want the fans to pay the players wages? Ps. No mention of the £1 they have added on the price of match day admission.
  25. I can exclusively reveal that most of the Dons squad are on £4k to £6k a week. McGinn is after £6.5k a week. That is why he left. McInnes says that the £42k a week total squad wage ratio he mentioned at the end of the cup final was a 'lie'. He is not going to reveal his sources. Moreover, George Yule is on £950k a year, plus a car. And he gets free sunbeds use as part of the package. min. Back in the real word less than a month before the ELQR2 fixture our squad is pants and has lost the key pivotal players. I personally, find it all very confusing, just how we cannot bring players in considering we are offering £4k to £6k a week. Why would anyone not want to sign for Aberdeen - best team in the world. Celtic and Rangers are rubbish.
