  1. It doesn't bother me what anyone on here calls me. It's a football chat forum - you have no idea who I am in the real world, you don't know me, you don't know anything about me. Anything you say, any name you call me and anything you say about me is worthless. Back on topic - £42k a week or £48k a week. Work out the average - £1k - £3k a week.
  2. Just to clarify 'mate' - if you want accurate information then you are in the wrong location on a football chat page. Also directly 'quoting' the salary of players i.e. known individuals is against the law and a direct violation of various data protection acts. I gave you a rough guide to the players wage levels which as far as I am aware is £1k - £3k a week. To be more precise, immediately after the cup final (v Celtic on 27th May) I switched on the radio and listened to a one to one interview with Derek McInnes and his exact words (his not mine) was that his entire wage bill is £48k a week for the entire playing squad. So can I suggest 1: You go get a calculator and 2: If you want 'exact' accurate data with sources noted you maybe go somewhere else aside from a football chat zone
  3. The club have a payscale. Fine. £3k a week is a huge amount of money. I understand that, and we have very few season ticket holders meaning not much money comes in from fans compared to others. Clearly good players (who ALL got new offers of contracts - Pawlett, McGinn, Hayes, Taylor) have chosen to leave the club in search of more money elsewhere. Players will always come and go but if they (the club directors) are not going to push the boat out a little given the massive sums that have come in from the Hayes transfer than its not good news. Time the likes of £5k-£6k a week was offered to bring in a few pivotal players on decent deals otherwise we are not going to replace Hayes, McGinn.
  4. Well, the players at Aberdeen are on £1k-£3k a week. That is the pay scale on basic terms. In addition, they generally offer 2-year contracts. This year Pawlett, McGinn, Jack, Hayes, Taylor have left in such of 'more money'. McGinn, in particular, turned down the money offered by the club as he wants more money elsewhere and can probably get it. Jack got £8k a week at Rangers. More money is offered at clubs in the English Championship and also at the higher end of League 1. That is what I formulated the statement 'there are serious issues with money at Aberdeen' as clearly there are serious issues with the payscale that will prevent the club bringing certain players. Obviously you can jump on the bandwagon and accuse me of being 'a troll' but at the end of the day it doesn't bother me. Basically, you just don't like the truth.
  5. Defo serious issues with what Aberdeen FC are offering players. Doesn't bode well for the future stability of the team.
  6. Siroki Brijeg now play Ordabasy at home next week 1st leg - 29th. Swap occurred. We may have a good indication next week of whom is the better team. Also Ordabasy have never won a home game in European football. Given they have to play a home game 600km from normal ground you'd hope if Siroki win next week that is us playing them.
  7. What I am trying to say is that it is a bit fecking annoying for the people concerned to see the bloody unfairness in terms of the judgements of 'good old Jonny' and Ryan Jack. They both left and that is it - moved on. All players move on. But I pick up the paper today to see good old Jonny boy' speaking about how it took him "less than 30 seconds" to decide to join Celtic and that he would "happily play in the car park just to get the chance to play in the hoops". I mean FFS. Move on by all means but that takes the biscuit comments like that.
  8. Should they be OUR manager? i.e. someone of that 'ilk'.
  9. What about a player who was part of the Rangers '9 in a row' team e.g. Gazza, Laudrup etc Should they be involved with Aberdeen? Should we have them at our club?
  10. Supposedly McInnes is interested in signing Naismith. Del likes him.
  11. Yeah, so just been reading former Rangers player Steven Naismith - 45 caps for Scotland and hugely experienced in EPL for Norwich and Everton. Scored a lot of goals for Rangers and knows the Scottish league. How do you feel about him signing for Aberdeen? What is your view on our interest in him?
  12. What a nice guy Hayes is. Bad man Ryan Jack - leaving when his contract expired. How dare he.
  13. Ryan Jack got crucified for leaving us Quote from Jonny Hayes: "Coming to Celtic is a dream come true. I would have come to Celtic to wear the shirt even if it only meant a chance to play for the club in the Celtic car park."
  14. If you are transferring on a flight you don't need a visa. remain in the airport. But yes it means you to need to fly London-Tashkent-Almaty-Shymkent. It takes 4 days to get a Visa for Uzbekistan, maybe 3 days express.
  15. We had a very very near miss with Shkendija. Very close to getting them again. It's 50/50 with those two teams. When you consider we have played Groningen and Rijeka in past in 2nd round it's not a bad draw in terms of quality of teams, just logistically it's a nightmare since we will have 2 weeks to organise travel 6th 2nd leg QR1 and 20th 2nd leg QR2. You can drive to Mostar from Split in Croatia in no time and there are lots of buses from Split. Maybe 3hrs on the bus. You could do for the day from Split easy and return same day.
  16. Ordabasy Shymkent play near Uzbekistan - Tashkent - its nowhere near Almaty (600km away). We should be defeating teams like this - Siroki Brijeg finished 7th in Bosnian league (they won cup) and Ordabasy finished 4th in Kazakstan. Logistically, travel wise it's a bad draw. Rangers will play AEL Limassol if they get through. Forget that they are rubbish because they are not. Limassol is a good team with top fans.
  17. St. Johnston v Trakai (Lithuania) Rangers v Progress Niederkorn (Lux)
  18. Linfield/San marino team v Celtic (Champions league) . I am sure all of you know what that means.
  19. Just a reminder AFC will know at 1.30pm or so whom they might play in 2nd round. Given big differences in quality between seeded and unseeded chances are we will have a fair guess who the potential opponent will be.
  20. Players do not belong to any club. AFC, Celtic or Rangers or any club do not own a player. The club is bigger than any player. Hayes, McGinn have gone but bigger, better and more successful players played for the club in the past and will in the future. Football is a revolving door at AFC as it is at Celtic.
  21. I wasn't in anyway meaning or referring to any one particular poster. Not in the slightest. Simply that Ryan is our player, plays for us. Hayes is gone, and to be honest, i can see him being back at Aberdeen in 3 years as at 32, 33 years old Celtic will not want him.
  22. I think certain poster(s) are looking at thing through red tinted glasses. Christie can't sign for Aberdeen permanently. Impossible. Why would someone take a 50% pay cut to sign for Aberdeen? Loan players are a fact of life - Danny Ward was one also. Morata at Juventus was a loan player. For usual red tinted glasses reasons Christie has gotten stick for coming to Aberdeen in loan yet Hayes is "getting off scot free" when he is the one under contract who has run off for the cash and glory. I watched Ryan Christie last season. This player is good, very good probably just as good technically as Hayes. And AFC are reaping the benefits not Celtic. Stop looking at Christie situation while reading newspapers wearing big red flashing dandy dons glasses. Take them off. Christie is a top player and AFC have just made £1m+ out of the deal. Its win win all round.
