There's got to be yet another court case coming their way if things are how it's been reported, i.e. the magic man not having offered his resignation at all. I wasn't at the game yesterday but i've read plenty match reports and they all point to the subs changing the game and getting us the win. What bothers me is wtf do we play with only one striker at home to the likes of Thistle and other relegation candidates?! I know Deek has his system but is it really the only one he's got for starting a game with. If he doesn't ever change it the oppo will know whats coming and set up accordingly, as per yesterday. We should definitely be starting with two strikers at home and only one holding midfielder, or as he eventually done yesterday go with 3 at the back and two up top. A back 3 with two holding midfielders is more than enough against most of the dross in our league!

On the holding midfielder subject, i used to think that these type of players were ten-a-penny, as all you needed was someone who was good at getting in the way of the oppo and popping the ball off to a more artistic teammate (ala Brian Grant to Jazza, Deschamps to Zizou, Makalele to... you get my drift, eh?) but we seem to find it impossible to come across such a player.

Just watched the latest Jason Bourne film and Suicide Squad. Jason Bourne - while it's a good watch with excellent stunts etc it just makes you realise even more, if you've seen one of the Bourne movies, you've seen them all. Suicide Squad - felt like turning it off before the half way point but there's a super tidy bird in it (Leo Di Caprios wife in Wolf of Wall Street) so i kept watching to the end. It's to do with Super Heros so obviously fantastical shite but watchable.

Just to emphasise your points lads i mentioned my issue to a Boro season ticket holder on this boat this morning and he confirmed Boro charge season ticket holders £10 and non ST holders £15 for cup games... but that may change dependant on the opposition.

I enjoyed watching him play and i'll follow his career with interest. I'm not surprised he didn't come back, he maybe thought he was going to be a sub a lot more after the break. I've fairly been knocking out the movies lately... in just over a week i've watched... La la Land - don't get the hype at all, it was a'right. Hands of Stone - pretty good. Sully - slow burner but superb real life story Magnificent 7 - very good 8 Days a week - brilliant. Didn't think i'd enjoy it as much as i did. Didn't appreciate just how huge Beatle Mania was!

Anyone know if the clubs are charging Premier League prices for their FA Cup ties? I'd be fooking raging if i were a fan of some of these teams, paying top price for a ticket only for my team to put out the reserves and get horsed by a lower league side! The clubs are cheating their fans, the sponsors and the TV companies and TV subscribers by paying a total lack of respect to the trophies, both the FA and League Cups. Your Liverpools and Newcastles deserve to get knocked out but the fans don't deserve it.

I see cash turnstyles are going to be in operation tomorrow. Now, i get that the club reckon there'll be a bumper turn out due to a lot of fans being back in the NE for the Chrimbo period but if they can do it for tomorrow..... i've always thought that it's a bad move to not have that walk up on the day option. Granted, installing the extra ticket kiosk at the Paddock end of the stadium is helpful but is it really essential to take away the cash option?! BTW, i won't be there... at work. Like you say when you consider all these different factors that make up the game we invest so much interest, money, time, emotion etc into it just makes you wonder, why fucking bother put yourself through all that just for these cunts who run the game take the piss out of us by changing the rules to suit their preferred clubs even more. That obviously applies in both the domestic scene and the international one. I saw a article last week suggesting that the Scottish league winners (celtic for the foreseeable) would now have to play 4 qualifiers to get into the CL while all 4 English teams woud get straight in, as would the other 'big leagues'. My head hurts when i try to think of the unfairness of it all and what the ongoing consequences of will be. It goes without saying it's all about making money and the already strong getting stronger and widening the gap all the time. They are trying to invent a different sport in my eyes... i hope the whole fucking thing implodes! Fuck it, i'm going to cancel my Sky Sports again when i get home!!!! N&T, was your handle Fat Shaft on AbMad? If so i remember once you and i stood up for the right to support our national team against the majority there. I agree with you about the contempt shown by a lot of board members there towards the national team. Couldn't understand how, if you were a football lover you couldn't even be interested in how your national team is getting on. I can understand a lot of the disdain shown towards the SFA and the beaks there but at the end of the day that doesn't make you lose interest in the teams results does it?! I had 14 years of AbMad and i, like so many others stopped posting there due to the attitudes shown by many there.
