A ridiculous decision by DM which he thankfully changed after 20 mins. But why do it in the first place?!

It was so quiet at one point during the first half i'm sure i could hear the hum of the electricity in the flood lights....

I was swithering between O'Connor and Kenny for MOTM but was giving it to O'Connor purely based on the fact that he had scored (as well as playing well) but then Johnny went and popped in a second.... Really don't get why DM would rather play anyone at LB other than Shinnie. It just seemed really stubborn of him to put Johnny in there. Changing them around after the goal worked a treat but he goes and changes it again at the first opportunity. Frustrates the life out of me.

We said exactly the same Rico when DM brought on Reynolds for Maddison... why?! Also his starting line up was a crock of shite! Hayes at LB and Shinzaa in midfield?!?! Shinzaa was struggling to get going in there too. Although he didn't change it until we scored thanks god he did because we suddenly looked a LOT better with Johnny up the wing and Shinzaa at LB. Those two patrolling the left wing is brilliant, he should fucking leave them there. I thought Kenny had a proper solid game and O'Connor was superb. If Johnny hadn't got a second goal i'm sure AO'C would have been MOTM. Killie are turly woeful though! Any ideas why Maddison went off? He kind of threw his arms up in the air as if to say wtf when his number went up. He went to the bench then straight down the tunnel but there was no medic / physio went with him. Hope if was neither sulkiness or an injury. BTW, he should have scored!

It's not easy to switch your mind off to the amount of money you're not making but you're right... i'm going to try and looking forward to Xmas as i wasn't supposed to be here for it. Thing is i had already mentally prepared myself for it. Anyway, that's what i'm going to do. Knowing my blooming luck i'll get called back around the 20th Dec. and screw up both my Xmas and New Year (I was originally due home on 30th Dec).

I'm guessing there's more than a couple of posters here still involved in the offshore industry? I've been involved with offshore service companies for over 19 years, offshore for more than 16 years. I've been paid off the last two Januarys but managed to keep myself involved in the same project by moving to the companies who have moved in to take over the contract we were on. I now find myself sat at home not knowing what to do for the best. The boat i work on has been down manned till further notice. I don't know whether to look for work elsewhere or wait until these guys give me a shout again. They don't pay us for being at home so it's a bit off of them to expect us to hang about indefinitely waiting for them to give us a shout... i've been home 6 weeks already. They say things are picking up in the industry but i haven't seen any real evidence of that myself. Anyone else affected by this down turn?

A couple of match stats nicked from the Beeb site Aberdeen have won their last 11 matches against Kilmarnock, all league fixtures. Kilmarnock beat Dundee on Saturday but have not managed back-to-back victories this season. Obviously if one of these sequences change they both change, will that really set alarm bells ringing for us or will it just be a sign that Killie are improving?

Reading through the thread again it's evident that folk are pretty much stressed about every area of the team. Debates about what the centre back pairing should be, the two season long debate about the midfield continues and now that Rooney is off the boil we're not sure who should be playing up top.... Who'd be a fitba manager?

I quite like DM but he's making a right fucking pigs ear of things just now! I'd like for him to get a grip of things and put it right. What he's tried in the last two games clearly doesn't work, best of it is the majority of us questioned his decisions before the inevitable happened. If he doesn't decide to set up the team properly and continue with this farce he's going to lose the fans big time and once that happens it's only a matter of time. Like Rocket said it's the boards job to appoint a new man, should it come to that. If i were them i'd invite applications and conduct interviews properly instead of just approaching someone. Tommy Wright and Michael O'Neill should be asked to apply tho.

I agree with what you're saying. I think most of us see midfield being the problem as in we're too soft there. Only Jack out of the 3 used there is a defensive midfielder and lets face it he's not exactly doing a good job. The other two can be excused as that's not their game, it's DM making them look bad. O'Connor on the other hand is supposed to be a player for that position... he's been dragged out of the back line so why bench him instead of moving him into a natural position for him in a problem position for us?!

When i was scouring the pics of her i was surprised at how much of a heifer she used to be. To me she looks a'right slimmed down with her slap on but when you see her in the jungle without the war paint.... For the record i wid but i widna be blaa'in about it.

Ah ok, i never realised that the minutes silence stretched to include showing respect to the Brazilians in the crash.... that changes things massively. I'll never forget that minutes silence for George Young. Sitting there glued to the telly with a pic of GY in the top corner of the screen, the camera panning round the crowd then from the silence all you heard was "we all agree...."
