BigAl Posted January 10, 2023 Author Report Posted January 10, 2023 Seems likely Manc Been good while it lasted. He has actually brought more to AFC in his time than Maddison did. I wish the lad every success Oh and can we keep him until Sunday please 1 Quote
manc_don Posted January 10, 2023 Report Posted January 10, 2023 Wouldn’t be the first time those scouse cunts have screwed us over. If he does have to go, I wish him well, but feel this is a good place for him to grow. Quote
Elgindon Posted January 10, 2023 Report Posted January 10, 2023 Not overly fussed.I like him,but were only getting a good game in around 3.Game on Sunday might suit him though, hope he hangs around for that 2 Quote

He's a quality player who'll undoubtedly get better and better, but he's probably been fortunate to have had as many minutes for us as he has. Further up the pitch is definitely his best position at the moment, because he's always looking for that quick ball in behind that others don't spot in time. That leads to a few poor decisions, but it's better to have tried in my opinion. That's what will set him apart in future. He could be the difference between winning and losing a game some weeks, so it'd be great to see him stay until Monday. Just until we get the work permit sorted for the new Slovakian world beater who can bring us home the cup. 2 Quote
Jute Posted January 11, 2023 Report Posted January 11, 2023 Clarkson is undoubtedly a good player but as yet not consistent (why he is with us) or physically strong enough to play at top level. Good luck to him if he does go to the Championship in England as he will get battered up and down the pitch down their as it is a very physical league. Quote

The kid would be far better going to a more technical league. Spain or Portugal would be where I would be advising him if I was his agent. 1 Quote

Was that not where he was before and that’s exactly what happened? Quote

Allegedly he ejaculated into a bin on the team bus and then tried to set it on fire to hide the evidence. Edit: a few seconds in and no solicitor calls. I think you might be on to something. Kowalski Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Allegedly Ambrose tried the same thing but missed the bin completely, whereas Clarkson got it in the top bins. 1 Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago An AFC piece on the P&J site, states Clarkson unwilling to be on the bench. Must be an element of truth in it and if so, suggests to me that relationship between player and the manager/club, has completely broken down. Quote
Ajja Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Did Clarkson partner have a baby recently? Could be unsettling him, looking to get closer to family etc etc. I know he was claiming to be knackered at some stage recently. Quote

Rumour that was on the go in the summer was that they allegedly wanted back down South to be closer to family. Quote

I couldn't see the club holding on to an unhappy player, but if no bids received, other than the alleged one from the Polish club, there is not a lot the club can do. We can't just rip up his contract. Seems like it is going to end in a sour note, which would be a shame as really rate him as a player. I reserve the right to change my mind about him, if he were to rock up in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Quote
