Anyone been/going to the cinema to see anything in particular?

 

I've been to see Inception and Toy Story 3 recently. Both were fantastic. Saw Toy Story in 3D but I'm not overly sure that it was necessary, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it was a great film. Fitting way to end the trilogy

Got half way thru watching "The Figher" on the old laptop at the maternity ward. Really enjoying it so far.

Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.  Some excellent performances.  9/10.

 

Black Swan

Quite intense and a bit daft towards the end but decent enough.  8/10.

I saw The Hangover 2 last week - was funny but not quite the same impact as the first one

 

Apparently Bridesmaids which is out in June is the girlie equivalent - have to say it looks absolutely pish from the trailer

The Senna documentary is brilliant, I highly recommend it! 

I thought the Hangover part 2 was terrible.

To me it seemed to be more 'fuck thats just horrible' instead of 'that looks like a right laugh'

 

Zach Galifianakis's character also comes across as someone who needs locking up for his and everyone elses safety. The first film the humour came from his ignorance of the real world and the consequences of his actions but now its more sinister.

 

Tragically I suspect there will be a 3rd one or a spin-off series featuring 'Alan' that will go straight to DVD over here

It wasn't exactly an un-biased documentary.  My memory of the time is that it wasn't exactly Prost + FIA v Senna.  Senna brought a lot on himself.

A couple of colleagues of mine went to the midnight shows on thursday night, could certainly think of better ways to spend my evenings!
