I just got RedTV for the first time. Maybe it's just me or my browser, but in the flash player, I can't adjust the volume or skip the timeline forwards/backwards. In fact, I can't see any controls whatsoever. I paid £39.99 for the year, mainly for the highlights that I can't view on BBC because I'm overseas, but it seems a bit of a piss take that they're asking for an extra £20 2 days later to view content that had been previously provided as part of the package I paid for. It's not a huge deal, but you'd think they'd sort it out before taking subscriptions for this season.

Out of our 4-5000 season ticket holders, are there really that many who have tickets they're not eligible for? It's not going to have any real effect on the club either way. And it's not really worth having a moral crusade about either. If I can get away with paying less than I should for something, even if I'm more than able to pay the full price, then I'm going to do it whether it be football tickets, train fares, prostitutes or whatever. Obviously, that doesn't include any criminal behaviour, but I can live with a bit of mild dishonesty It doesn't make me, or anyone else who does so, a bad person. That's already covered by plenty of other things.

Loophole's probably not the word I was looking for, but if you're studying for professional accountancy exams, you can apply for an NUS Associate Card even though you're not in full time (or even part time) education for a cost of £10/year. To be fair to the club, there's not really any way of them knowing.

I had a student season ticket for 6 years after leaving full time education thanks to a handy loophole I took advantage of. If I was unable to do that, I would've paid for a full price adult one.

Killie, St Mirren, Hamilton, ICT are all going to be honking, St Johnstone and Motherwell had good seasons last season but they're both lacking in any sort of quality. Top 6 is apparently our target, but looking at the competition, we should almost be there by default. It's going to be a dire season.

From the sounds of it Basey should be signing before the weekend, that should hopefully prevent us from having to play people out of position.

I'm assuming Basey is a cheap replacement for Grassi although you'd hope it would be a bit of an improvement on the latter.

It's our 3rd pre-season game with a team that is chopped and changed throughout the match to ensure everyone gets a runout with a squad of players who largely haven't played with each other in a game against a team that is fairly advanced in their pre-season schedule and whose league campaign starts in a week so will be a bit sharper. It's not really worth getting the razor blades out just yet.

As it stands, we only have 1 central midfielder in the squad, and he's just turned 17. I think we'd need to be signing more than 2 anyway.

Jon Macken also been touted as being on his way up the road too.
