  1. I hope to go to a couple of the games. Worst time of year weather wise but hey ho!
  2. McCrorie officially offski. Big character to lose, but hopefully we reinvest the money wisely!
  3. Wild that they’ve been down there so long. Amusing though, hun bastards
  4. Queens Park and / or Q.O.T.S. Both horrendously shite days. Fortunately never physically witnessed any pumpings from the ugly sisters, but our cup semi finals appearances were pretty embarrassing. Still, don't think they touch the sides of the two I mentioned. Actually, there was also a big loss to Livi which I remember getting the local pub to put on. Maximum regerts.
  5. As long as he gives / sells us shinnie for FA, I couldn't care less

    Holidays 2023

Summer? Months away May try and take the boys to the mountain half-way up the north island this winter though. UK trip and cost of living hammered our savings this year, but hoping my folks are able to come over during the summer. Will be making the most of the in-laws campervan too. Been a weird winter so far, second month in and it's the first proper cold day we've had. Definitely not had the rain that @Reekie_Red has suffered, nor the East Coast this year. Been very bizarre. Must be luring us into a false sense of security.
  7. "Success" breeds success. A lot of casual fans will be tempted by a perceived better product. Don't think it's just football fans either, people will always want to see a winning team and be entertained.
  8. Vaguely remember them at the semi final last season? Maybe a viaplay thing?
  9. So what is the best situation in terms of us getting shinnie back next season? Them to be sold or presumably go bust?
  10. Interesting , will just put this here https://twitter.com/androofrench/status/1664534516550049792?s=46&t=eC-2zu-nW-L1yu1oNLyRlg
  11. Lovely frame sea bass , hope you enjoyed your birthday
  12. That’s horrendous and unacceptable. I hope we never see a result like that again under his watch. Yes, back end of the season was better than the start and middle, but that aggregate score against them is never acceptable. Regardless of circumstances.
  13. apparently so: https://www.thisisanfield.com/2023/05/liverpool-loanees-stunning-free-kick-seals-europe-may-earn-next-transfer/
  14. You’d hope playing in Europe will be extra incentive to stay. Would be very pleased to see his contract extended. What a difference in form across the course of the season.
  15. Truly was I would push the boat out on him , if it is at all possible (I know).
  16. I see the mind games have started and saints are claiming they may have a striker crisis. Think only Grieve will be the only real omission?
  17. Now our most important game after the predictable failings of last weekend. They’ll be buoyed by getting four points against the time this season, and probably look forward to spoiling a potential party. We’ve got a serious point to prove. Nothing but victory will be acceptable, which given where we’ve come from this season, is pretty impressive on its own. We should have McCrorie, Duk and shinnie back for this one, which will make a huge difference. We’ve been missing McCrorie and Shinnie big time over over the last three games. We’ve missed a fit Duk too, hopefully it’s given him time to rest as I thought he was starting to burn out. hopefully it’s not a sellout either, we don’t seem to cope out bed morning duties / commuting work 2-1 Dons, miovski and clarkson
  18. I’d hope the targets have well and truly been identified but I guess that’s only part of the battle. Disappointing, seemed to be building a bit of a head of steam with some of the signings this season. Hopefully we have someone that can spot the magic in the database.
  19. How’re you holding up MBT? Hope your network has been supportive.
  20. Nominated for manager of the year. Which is pretty mental in itself. Don’t think he deserves to win it, nor will he, but absolutely wild that he’s been nominated in the first place.
  21. Horrible news to wake to, MBT, and I’m glad the good ship of DT can be the vessel you need! So sad that someone so young doesn’t see any other way. Stay strong, hopefully your family and fellow staff members can be your rock.
  22. Watched that on Sunday, what a glorious watch. It was all before my time but really did give a good insight, and a meaningful one, into the mentality of the club and team at that time. And I hope it goes a long way to mending McGhees relationship with the dons fans. No angst, just honest and happily reminiscent. Well done, BBC. Fantastic stuff.
