  1. Truly was I would push the boat out on him , if it is at all possible (I know).
  2. I see the mind games have started and saints are claiming they may have a striker crisis. Think only Grieve will be the only real omission?
  3. Now our most important game after the predictable failings of last weekend. They’ll be buoyed by getting four points against the time this season, and probably look forward to spoiling a potential party. We’ve got a serious point to prove. Nothing but victory will be acceptable, which given where we’ve come from this season, is pretty impressive on its own. We should have McCrorie, Duk and shinnie back for this one, which will make a huge difference. We’ve been missing McCrorie and Shinnie big time over over the last three games. We’ve missed a fit Duk too, hopefully it’s given him time to rest as I thought he was starting to burn out. hopefully it’s not a sellout either, we don’t seem to cope out bed morning duties / commuting work 2-1 Dons, miovski and clarkson
  4. I’d hope the targets have well and truly been identified but I guess that’s only part of the battle. Disappointing, seemed to be building a bit of a head of steam with some of the signings this season. Hopefully we have someone that can spot the magic in the database.
  5. How’re you holding up MBT? Hope your network has been supportive.
  6. Nominated for manager of the year. Which is pretty mental in itself. Don’t think he deserves to win it, nor will he, but absolutely wild that he’s been nominated in the first place.
  7. Horrible news to wake to, MBT, and I’m glad the good ship of DT can be the vessel you need! So sad that someone so young doesn’t see any other way. Stay strong, hopefully your family and fellow staff members can be your rock.
  8. Watched that on Sunday, what a glorious watch. It was all before my time but really did give a good insight, and a meaningful one, into the mentality of the club and team at that time. And I hope it goes a long way to mending McGhees relationship with the dons fans. No angst, just honest and happily reminiscent. Well done, BBC. Fantastic stuff.
  9. Probably the most important game of the season. Win, 3rd is guaranteed, lose, and it’s squeaky bum time, despite being in the driving seat. A draw wouldn’t be the end of the world as avoiding a loss is absolutely paramount. Our record there isn’t great, so I would take a draw straight away. Obviously our last result there was finally the beginning of the end for Goodwin, hopefully it’s not a freakish repeat. Can’t really see it given our defence has improved. Is McCrorie back for this? Can’t have Richardson at RB. With the news that’s Duk is potentially out for the rest of the season (it certainly explains his performances over the last 3 games), the question is, who goes up top with miovski? I’d like to think it should be Watkins, but I have the fear that it’s going to be Morris. I was amazed to see how many people are trying to give morris the benefit of the doubt and any shade is harsh on him. Are they watching the same player as me? Anyway, midfield will be critical, not having shinnie for this one is a pain but hopefully the midfield shake off whatever was their issue against hibs. Can’t perform like that again. out bed bed not sure, weather dependent 2-0 hearts, no dons scorer

  11. What is it with us and failing for big crowds? Doesn’t matter who it is, it’s like clockwork.
  12. Ah well, given the season we’ve had, didn’t expect to be in it as long as I was!
  13. Sure there’s something happening pre game?
  14. Not in any way having a go at him, just don’t think he’s been as effective the last couple of games. It’s more a point about that he’s going to be a bit inconsistent as he’s still a raw talent. As I said, the only possible change I’d make, I’d be happy enough if it was unchanged. He’s set himself a very high bar in terms of performances.

  16. I haven’t seen any comms on this and tlg’s comment in the match thread reminded me. Do we think we’ll see McCrorie in red again? Find it odd that they’d be doing this “op” now given we haven’t got 3rd secured. Would it be player or club pushing this?
  17. Not many tickets left for this one apparently, so hopefully be close if not a complete sell out. They usually bring some fans along, but maybe the possibility of finishing above hearts will spur a few more. They’ll be buoyed by their win against saints but hopefully the boys realise what’s at stake. I’m sure Robson will have them fired up for this one. Our record against them at home is decent and enough, and we’ll put the last game between us as a Goodwin result. Not sure I’d make many if any changes for this one. Maybe duk just to give him a kick up the arse to take these chances he’s getting? He’s still raw and we’re seeing that over the last couple of games but feels like he’s been a little off the boil. out bed bed morning dad duty 1-0 Dons, clarkson
  18. Not that I want to wish well for them, but we live in hope that that’s the case. I want us to secure 3rd as soon as possible.
  19. What was the deal here? I saw the headlines but didn’t ever follow up

    Podcasts.

I've just started that one myself, after it was recommended by "The Rest is Politics" - which itself is very good. Also take in Scottish football podcast, when it may have a dons slant, as well as Guardian football weekly.
  21. I see Wright is apparently being punted this transfer window. Big LOL if that happens. Slimy prick.
  22. Just no, I'm still sticking with the fact he is at his peak now and won't replicate the form.
  23. Agreed, thought he did much better in the second compared to other performances, and he clearly hates them. I'm not overly fussed if we don't see Barron again (if he doesn't sign) but yeah, you're right about the non-compatibility with Clarkson, so it's a no brainer. It is hilarious how the press are so predictable in their pre-match coverage. We're shite, it's classic Durrant I was robbed, we're good, x,y,z is linked with us. That said, whilst I don't think we'll get Clarkson next season, I'd hate to see him go to either of those clubs. Not sure the Dhims would need him tbh.
