  1. It would be fitting if we could do to them what they did to us when we were down there. Really was a sliding doors moment. I saw that we were 25 points clear of them at the point of the last fixture and they have chance to go within 2 of us. Truly depressing stuff! Anyway, I'm not overly optimistic for this one, as nothing seems to be working out for us, but as Panda says, it'll be interesting to see what Thelin does about Rubi, if he does return, just hope the boo boys lay off him. Of course that does require a good positive performance from him. Out Bed Bed Journey back home 2-0 hibs, no dons scorer
  2. Dunno what's worse, discussing some hun called Lancelot or the lack of transfer activity (in) I was excited thinking there may be some genuine gossip!
  3. Always said I was surprised we went for him in the first place, but wanted it to work out and I never thought we got the best of him. Injuries have always been his issue and that certainly played a part, but still, probably not the player we needed. wish him well.
  4. I don't care if it's at our own expense, I always want them to lose.
  5. Think this is what annoys me more than anything else. Hadn’t been performing for a good few months so was keen to get something for him. Now we just have to pay for his rehab and goes for free. doesn’t sit right with me.
  6. Gutted for him, added something when he came on but was slightly worried he got injured against Elgin, could tell he was frustrated by something. Speedy recovery!
  7. I'd forgotten about his record, wasn't half bad tbh. I remember at the time (think this was still in the original Aberdeen FC chat days?) loads of people raving about him and being gutted that we didn't retain him.
  8. Caught the highlights of the reds vs. Jafas what an ending. You'd have fancied Adelaide to hold out but not sure where they got the extra 2.5/ 3 mins from?
  9. Thank you Butland, keep it up
  10. Saints haven’t won a game in the league since Boxing Day, which was against rangers in fairness, but they did also beat queens in the cup at the weekend, which was also away from home. their form whilst a bit patchy at the moment, is still better than ours, but if we have any ambitions to stay in the top six, let alone try to challenge for 3rd (sigh), then we need to start pulling some results in. out bed bed leaving bbq 2-1 dons, duk and Clarkson
  11. You reckon he’s got the shooting prowess to do it? Seems very wasteful when he does shoot.
  12. Not into sharing Twitter these days, but this is a tribute befitting of the man.
  13. I’d probably say this was peak youth for me, well, late teens and early 20s, but had many a good time with the globe reds following him and the team around. Some incredible high and some horrendous lows, but we definitely weren’t the laughing stock anymore and I’ll be forever grateful. The pair of Munich games will forever (vaguely) stick in my memory. Sure, it didn’t end the way any of us wanted but it was one helluva ride. Thank you jimmy and very much, RIP.
  14. Agreed, it's not coincidence that he's looking leggy with the amount of running and extra work he has to do.
  15. Fuck me, didn't think we'd be going into this game when we drew them, as needing it to be a must win. But here we are. Our confidence appears to be rock bottom but hoping that the team and management can get their heads together and sort this out. Think anyone going will definitely need a good amount of booze, as I don't think it'll be one to remember. Their early form, like ours, has taken a turn for the worse, albeit, not as drastically as ours. They are also still scoring goals. No idea what to expect. We should win this, especially since our fitness should prevail, but concede an early goal and who knows. Hopefully the supports stick behind the team but we need the team to stand up. Out Bed Bed Wellington Anniversary day - even meant to be sunny all weekend Elgin 1 - Dons 2, Duk and McGarry
  16. Sakes, I had a meeting at half time, so only caught the first half. By the time the meeting finished FT score had filter through. What in the actual fuck happened? Seems like it went bonkers in extra time? Never thought we were up to much from what I saw in the first half, but christ.
  17. funny half so far really, we could have been level, we could be further behind. Not sure wtf tobbers did to deserve the card for his legit tackle.
  18. That goal was a horrendous gift by Doohan and Nilsen. Made it so easy and now they can just relax. This isn't going to go well.
  19. He would leave Scotland with my blessing, that’s for sure. The type of move he should be making
  20. Who else we signing @BigAl you’ve been all over it
  21. From memory, wasn’t McKenna a forced inclusion? I.e, someone was injured and was forced to play him? His record with youth was horrendous, easily my biggest criticism of him.
  22. I do have the fear about this one. Weekend was an improvement but not enough to be able to handle going to ibrox in the following game. Not sure we can line up, especially at CB, in the same way or we’ll be in for a rough ride. Think if we can hold out for a while, the natives will get very restless very quickly, but it does rely on us actually being able to create something, which is obviously something we’re not doing very often. Do we put Topi up top? Not convinced Nisbet will offer anything. out bed work work 2-0 huns, no dons scorer.
  23. Don’t set the bar too high there that said, how else would we continue going off topic and being able to update our shite CB pairings?
  24. Just glad he signed the new deal to give us a shot at having one!
