  1. I have a confession to make - I didn't see dons score any goals in the games I was at in 2018 ( albeit not that many but still) I'm going on Saturday

    Soup

My 2 fav soups recently have been beetroot & carrot and parsnip & apple, both with fresh ginger .......yummy
  3. I was driving so not paying that much attention ( to the radio not the road) but that's what Stewart actually made a point of saying that he has noticed during his analysis of our games that Logan costs us a fair few goals - might be a bit harsh to single him out for this particular one but I get what he means
  4. Michael Stewart last night on radio blamed Logan for his positioning at the goal - said dons have lost a few goals this way due to him switching off. I think it was the cruellest time for us to lose a goal - you could see our players tentatively playing out till half time, must have been brutal for them witnessing what happened to GMS I was proud of them and glad I was there but very disappointed!

    Films

I loved Bohemian Rhapsody A Star is Born not so much tho Gaga was great Nae Pasaran is my favourite film of the year so far - catch it if you can - true story of scottish workers who refused to repair the engines from the Chilean air force after Pinochet's coup - it really is a cracking wee film and true testimony to solidarity
  6. Tremendous 3 points in difficult conditions. I really like Lowe, thought GMS & McGinn did so well and May too, would love him score to build his confidence. What a 2nd half from Ferguson Not heard from any of my Hibee mates
  7. Well that was a bit of a pish watch but tremendous result to get 3 points and actually for the first time this season has been a really good week! I did think that if we could get out of 2nd gear we might be ok and I thought May contributed pretty well I'm still raging that we don't have a proper strike force and our sensational summer isgnings have both turned out to be awful but canny complain as we are in a final and are now knocking on the door for top 6 And thank fuck we beat Killie cause I cannot stand that odious wee club
  8. Hey try not to think about it too much just now, just see how you feel nearer the time. If you can make it great, if not don't sweat about it. Try reading Matt Haig - he's tremendous
  9. I was just thinking the same thing
  10. And therein lies the problem
  11. Hearts v Celtic kick off at 12 at Murrayfield and our game half 3 at Hampden That allows ample TV coverage if first game goes to extra time and penalties I think Celtic have a legitimate gripe about playing at Murrayfield but as they didn't bother their arse about supporting Hearts' concerns with late kick off that is now nullified I'm away to check if there are trains back to Aberdeen after 7pm on a Sunday night so everything is accounted for
  12. I actually thought this was a made up quote when I first read it - how the fuck can it be acceptable for a player currently playing in the SPFL to be allowed to make sweeping inflammatory statements like this without any repercussion!!
  13. We should be more confident than them defensively so for once I don't mind keeping it tight and sneaking a goal from set play Ball to score a cracker
  14. I'm loving the Garcia/McIlroy partnership Lovely start to a Saturday morning
  15. Molinari is just fabulous Canny believe the Foursomes have started already C'mon Europe Rory has to play better
  16. What a fucking shambles Surely one of the semis could have been played on Saturday 20th October or Saturday 3rd November This is the best the SPFL could come up with!!
  17. Totally agree with last 2 posts I don't get how folk expect unquestioning loyalty to a manager when we are such a horrible team to watch at the moment. It was turgid last night and let's be honest every other team that gets through tonight will want to play us in the semis. Hats off to Shinnie for being a true captain and taking the first penalty and to May who I thought was a certain to miss. We are in another semi which is fantastic and actually could have won in extra time with a bit more composure from May & McGinn! One last point what the fuck is going on with the hand written notes - it's gone from a post it to a novella with Shinnie & Devlin quite clearly not having a clue what the instructions were - McInnes pretending he is a master tactician
  18. I love this story I remember howling after the game and having to pretend it was cause I was upset after a funeral I won't be in Perth as have a chocolate afternoon tea but will watch "live" on Alba later I really hope you are not a jinx
  19. This Also surely the main factor in choosing Bond is a suave, sophisticated, good looking guy with piercing eyes so therefore Idris and obviously Damien Lewis would fit that bill
  20. Yellow would have been fabulous - one of my favourite colours The grey one actually looks pretty decent tho
  21. Loved Neale Cooper when I first started supporting the dons - will never forget him scoring in the scottish cup final, his tight shorts, permed hair and being a absolutely brilliant midfielder So many lovely tributes on social media tonight
  22. What a lovely post Seebass, made me smile at work yesterday when I was having a particularly rotten day. I too was at the game to see Rooney's hat-trick. Haven't seen them score too many other goals at games I attended this season so that was my highlight too. The dons are very lucky to have you as a fan
  23. We were awful first 10 mins, settled down, got lucky with penalty, might have scored again, very much on the ascendency at half time then.........just pish really!! Absolutely need to toughen up in midfield Still hanging on to 2nd tho which with the squad we have and the way some of them are playing is actually no mean feat COYR let's believe we can do it
  24. I think you are doing a grand job being a great fan
  25. Pity McInnes hadn't worked out we needed to win games against them before we got to the split
