Wtf Well I didn't really rate 1917, the cinematography was excellent but just never got going!! I saw A Hidden Life last night which I very much enjoyed tho a long 3 hours, the Austrian landscape was incredible. Next up is Bombshell & David Copperfield

  6. Ooh me too, normally I would be buzzing for a midweek cuptie but just think it will be torture!!
  7. It was tremendous nail-biting stuff, had thought about going and really wish I had been there but opted for a weekend in Dundee instead
  8. Most of this Gutted for the girls but fucks sake get some subs on to play out the game!! I actually hate Var!! And I hate to say this but the standard of the female referees has been appalling!! Rennes was fabulous and a lovely afternoon in Paris tho
  9. Thanks Al No just here till Monday evening
  10. I'm in Rennes now with 2 of my daughters for the Japan v Scotland match tomorrow. World Cup match in a beautiful country with sunshine, champagne and cheese, what's not to love
  11. I got completely laughed at in work today by fans of all teams for us resigning Taylor. Like they are totally buzzing that he is back ffs
  12. Ha me too
  13. I Me too Al - fucked if I'm going to watch dons with Ash Taylor in defence!!

Boy Erased is very good, another true story and worth a watch. Finally got round to seeing Green Book, easy watching but for me not really a best picture winner! Aragon has left himself go

I've seen Mary, Queen of Scots, Vice & The Favourite in the last week, all very good, Vice is cracking & The Favourite very funny if you like that dark humour. I love Oscar season
  17. It possibly is can't remember who the artist was had it for years
  18. They have to start somewhere!! I'm hopefully gonna go to France for the Women's World Cup in June
  19. I don't disagree with any of the above I was more thinking about the midfield and how Forrester & Tansey have gone and Gleeson not playing up to the standard expected
  20. We haven't actually signed anyone have we?? I was thinking that this morning!! Is Wilson still here? And Gleeson? Are we supposed to treat Lowe & Hoban & Reynolds being back from injury as January activity Oh we got Stewart ha
  21. I have a confession to make - I didn't see dons score any goals in the games I was at in 2018 ( albeit not that many but still) I'm going on Saturday

    Soup

My 2 fav soups recently have been beetroot & carrot and parsnip & apple, both with fresh ginger .......yummy
  23. I was driving so not paying that much attention ( to the radio not the road) but that's what Stewart actually made a point of saying that he has noticed during his analysis of our games that Logan costs us a fair few goals - might be a bit harsh to single him out for this particular one but I get what he means
  24. Michael Stewart last night on radio blamed Logan for his positioning at the goal - said dons have lost a few goals this way due to him switching off. I think it was the cruellest time for us to lose a goal - you could see our players tentatively playing out till half time, must have been brutal for them witnessing what happened to GMS I was proud of them and glad I was there but very disappointed!

I loved Bohemian Rhapsody A Star is Born not so much tho Gaga was great Nae Pasaran is my favourite film of the year so far - catch it if you can - true story of scottish workers who refused to repair the engines from the Chilean air force after Pinochet's coup - it really is a cracking wee film and true testimony to solidarity
