I'm reading Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell - beautiful book, very descriptive, a take on Shakespeare's son dying then Hamlet being written. Film is coming out in January.

Possibly not but I suppose Gunn's dad is Scottish so no one would have questioned him. Harvey will quite obviously get more scrutiny with the timing of his potential switch but I wonder if any of us would have been talking about him if we were in a play off rather than already there. I think the grandparent angle will always make you ask how "scottish" do you have to be to make everyone accept you.

Really fair assessment Al. For the last few seasons we have collapsed in the autumn and winter then changed our manager. Then we get all excited about the prospect of a new guy coming in and clearing out the players we don't like and who are pish. It was a never ending rollercoaster of emotion. So when Thelin csme along and everyone overwhelmingly thought he was a great appointment I genuinely did think we would get some stability. Absolutely gutted it is working out this way and also keep thinking please turn it around as I cannot stand us having another new face in February next year!! Hopefully 2 away league games will suit us better!!
