  1. Kjartan's startin'
  2. The curious case of the height of Kjartan Kjartanssen!
  3. There's no danger he's the same size as my GF is all I'm saying. Wrong thread?
  4. As rats normally do
  5. According to wiki Connor Barron is 5ft 9 and he's defo not bigger than KK
  6. He's defo a bit stockier I would say, slightly taller maybe too. He's only 18 though, come 21 he's probably going to have increased his mass a bit given the role he plays.
  7. Get in.
  8. Unbelievable, we have been all over them.

    Xmas

    Merry Christmas folks
  10. Seeing us win the Scottish Cup was a bucket list item for me. As is going to a world cup to see Scotland play. Waited 35 years for a Scottish cup and 27 for a World Cup and now they have both come along within 6 months of each other. 2025 has had some crazy ups and downs football wise
  11. And they have both impressed in short order. Loved the way he fought for it but the weight on the ball from KMK for Belalovic was (chefs kiss) and probably the best pass of the entire match. And he'd just come on, making his debut at San Giro. Got high hopes for that kid I've got to say.
  12. I can see why it's feasible but I'm just not convinced Cormack would want a manager that isn't committed. My guess/hope if there is anything to this? After Athens Thelin has said words to the effect of 'if you want me to go I would rather resign than be fired'. Not exactly offering to quit but letting it be known he won't stay if he's not wanted. It's not unreasonable to speculate that could Chinese whispers within the club that he offered to quit 2bf. Regardless, this is water under the bridge now you would think with the rise in the table and the arrival of Lutz. Going forward it's a big 40 odd days for Thelin with run of tricky, but winnable, and equally loseable, fixtures going into the new year. Assuming we get through that relatively successfully then he really needs a strong window. Personally, I would say he only needs 3 starting capable players in the door to transform the team. The arrival of the contacts book of LP gives me hope that could happen. The right outs will be just as important as well given we stocked up for a 4231 but have ended up with a back 3. I think it's worth mentioning that it was about this sort of stage in Thelins Elfsborg career that they started to click and put together results. Swedish journalists told us you need to give Thelin 2 years before you really see what one of his teams is all about so it would make sense that the second half of this season will see the most improvement in the team if that stands. "Can history repeat itself?" is the question that we are about to find out in the next few months basically.
  13. Yeah that's probably between 12-15k a week
  14. Nilsen, Clarkson and Palaversa will all be away in Jan I suspect/hope.
  15. My colleague found this quite amusing, let's just say I'm known for being a little more cynical in work. Kind of you to say though
  16. I did hear rumour he was casting admiring glances from Italian clubs so you're probably spot on.
  17. I think the January window could be the make or break of Thelin as Afc manager. It will be just as important to move the right players on as well as bring the right players in but if we do that I don't think we are that far away from a good team.
  18. Mitov having a mare again
  19. There once was a Tim boss called Nancy Whose start the fans did not fancy. Lost four on the bounce, and now it's our chance to trounce. So fingers crossed for some mutton pyromancy
  20. I'm genuinely surprised at the negativity 2bh. This is hardly a brilliant Celtic side and it's not even the best team we have played this week. Could have done without the midweek game 2bf but they had one too and are going to be smarting from it. The crowd is going to be on their back from the first whistle and as long as we hold out the inevitable kitchen sink chucking they throw at us in the early stage of the game we have a great chance imo. The big concern is all goals shipped midweek came from silly mistakes and there's only so many sitters John Kenny is going to miss.
  21. I would be genuinely lost without football in my life. It's a daily escape from the world that enhances my life in terms of both usually having a game to look forward to and maintaining friendships.
  22. I would also add we seem to have our shit together far more now than when we started the campaign. I think if we plasyed the same fixtures now we would do better, possibly even sneak the playoff round but no better than that. Certainly wouldn't take six off athens
  23. They do have big wings. I was walking my dog by the canal in Inverness a few years back and whilst off balance picking up his business i failed to notice a swan come up the bank about 20 metres down the path. Only realised with it's first hiss and the sensation of the lead being pulled from hand as my dog charged at it. Heart was in my mouth when it spread it's wings as I know they can break bones but, thankfully, Alaskan Malamutes are pretty fucking big themselves and when he got closer to said swan, said swan shat it and got back in the water pronto. It ended up swimming alongside and hissing at us for the next few minutes.
  24. If he was going to be binned before this I suspect it would have been done by now.
  25. At least we have a much needed break before utd. I would say we have had our moments in the last month enough to say we are making good progress. We defo seem to be attacking more at least. A big, and very achievable, result on Sunday sets us up nicely for the next run of games. I'm feeling reasonably optimistic about the Xmas fixture list 2bh.
