Seen a rumour online der hun are looking at Burrows. -
How did you end up supporting the dons Manc?
-
I also think it would be a nice shot in the arm to defy the odds and not finish bottom of the CL table. After the poor start to the season it would be a nice two fingered salute to our external critics. That said a win against Noah and a point against Strasbourg would hopefully be enough to keep us in the mix for the Prague game. If we could go to the CR with something to play for I think that would be a solid enough achievement given the draw we got.
-
Rumour I heard was his grandad died but no Idea if he will be back
-
Noah are not on great form coming into this. They haven't won since the end of October and lost 3 out of the last 4 though it should be noted their last fixture was a draw against 2nd place when they had gone down to ten men 20 minutes into the game. Who the fuck knows what to expect but I suspect they will be no mugs and well drilled.

sounds like a measure to try and get everyone to order tickets online.
-
Fine? Nah, not for me. To my eye he should have had a penalty awarded against him and possibly even sent off for dangerous play against Kabore. I dunno, to me he just looks shaky and nervous at the moment and has done for a while. I know goalies get extra scrutiny for mistakes but Mitov is giving me the fear a lot this season.
-
There's been some chat online that our defence is 'sorted' because we have had a few clean sheets recently and it's absolute nonsense. Our defence is improved but if Hearts take their chances yesterday they win comfortably. It doesn't help that Mitov seems to be becoming increasingly uneasy at coming for high balls and we seem to be getting at least one erratic moment per game from him too. Yesterday was one of those games where we deserved it because we managed to score and the opposition didn't but we were very fortunate to deserve it if you ask me.

I'm always have a soft spot for bebo

We got very lucky in that game. Delighted with the win but we need to do far better retaining the ball. The number of times we just hooded it into their half was infuriating.
-
Wouldn't be surprised 2bh, there was an irritation about McInnes when he was talking about it.
-
I mind when Zidane left Juve for Madrid. Juve actually improved a wee bit because they no longer had the entirely understandable "see when you get the ball, give it to zizu" mentality. Not saying that's going to happen here but I'm defo interested to see how we do without him.
-
Interested to see how we do with Karlsson. He is a bit too much of an ever present imo, I get he's the most talented player in the squad but playing him the 90 when he is clearly burst has annoyed me multiple times now.
-
That's a little extreme 2bf but I don't actually disagree with you. As I said the best I would feel about it would be unease, we have such a tight knit group and I'm far from convinced they would be happy with someone who had tourist vibe written all over them coming into the squad. There's also the message it sends out. If you show up and give your all you could still be shut out by someone who has just decided to give it a go cos world cup, why not? But if he came in and scored a winner in WC match would you not agree the dynamic changes significantly.
-
That second goal is the worst clanger I've ever seen from a keeper

Licedome messiah

But he is eligible and we are short on wide players. That's the reality of the situation. At best I would feel unease at taking a player like that into the squad and I totally get your opposition to it. That said football fans are fickle and if he was brought in then scored a goal that won us a game in the WC I know I would be fine with it.
-
I think it was Tom English who said on sportsound today that he's never actually knocked Scotland back. Does that change anything? I dunno. He's clearly talented and stoked the fire nicely by scoring both goals to win the game for Newcastle today.
-
They handed over 12.4 mill to the taxman instead of investing it into a squad that clearly needed investment. I would be furious about that alone 2bh so can defo sypathise with them there. Incompetence should never be ignored just because you've been very successful and it's hard not to question the celtic boards competence. What happened today was just another farce from them, did they honestly think some mealy mouthed, pre prepared statement delivered by the absent owners son was going to cut the mustard with one of the most entitled fanbases on the planet after the farce that has been the tims since June? It's as deluded as their fanbases opinion of celtics place in footballs order
-
I stand corrected. Yeah me too, thought it would be far toastier.
-
And even hotter by Inverness standards. That's good to know though
-
The only thing that puts me off about Mexico is how bloody hot it would be.
-
Doubt Clarke would even consider it unless there was an injury crisis 2bh. He likes to look at players over a few camps before capping them classicly and, loyalty to the players that got us here aside, there are literally no fixtures in the calender for the national team right now. I suspect we will play some friendlys in March when the play offs are on but after that the next time the team gets together it will likely be for pre world cup warm up matches (and isn't that nice to type). Sorry Harv, too little too late.

This seems as good a place to put this as any https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/aberdeen-land-mega-transfer-coup-36277578 Darren Mowbray has returned to the club on a permanent basis.
