Lucky git, I bet he's got some tremendous tales to tell!
-
He did great when he first came in but defo went off the ball. I would love to see the club try and get the lad Watson from Killie in to replace him if he does go. He's OOC come the end of the season so could probably get him for a reasonable fee.

Stepped down as Accies chairman for health reasons. Sad to hear this. Jock is in my second favourite commentator of all time (pipped at the post by Alastair Alexander) and it sounds like he is probably on his way out.

In fairness Al you were still full of PTSD after the Athens experience Looking forward to this one but despite the recent turnaround I can't help but feel but this is still a massive game for Jimmy but from a more positive POV. A win, especially a convincing or even a solid win, and I think the support will largely draw a line under the shit start to the season and we can all just focus on moving forward rather than should we change the manager. It would also be a very nice to be going into the home game against Hearts post International break with a spring in our step cos I would fucking love to pop the Jambo bubble. Expecting changes due to euro efforts and I would defo be looking to bring Gyamfi in from the start. The little we have seen of him I've been pretty impressed and I think he would cope well with Maswanhise who looks to be the one that makes thinks happen for Motherwell. I would assume Shinnie will be back in but I have to say I thought Aouchiche did not to bad in the centre on Thursday. In A96 Main A96 3-1 dons and I'll go with 3 first goal of the season scorers in Nisbet, Keskinen and Milanovic to make amends for his miss in Cyprus and give it proper big licks.

Welcome to the board folks, great to have my some new members. I never really spent much time on abmad other than the time I went down a Walter Sobchak wyowyn rabbit hole (if you know, you know).
-
Agreed, I thought there was a lot to like about us last night. We are starting to look a solid team and really just need the front line to click a bit better and we should be in the goals imo.
-
Ultimately even if we finish just 35th in this group we will have beaten the odds.
-
Really solid performance, take that all day long. A win against Motherwell at home and that is a corner turned perhaps?
-
My first thought was 343 2bh Al
-
Indeed. Also I don't think it's unfair to say Jensen had his best game on the left hand side against Killie either so I'm happy for him to keep his spot
-
He said he wouldn't be fit for a whole game so suspect he will be on the bench.
-
I snort laughed at that so hard a booger came out.
-
I am so having a bit of that! Edit, where are you seeing that? Oddschecker has us at 14/1
-
Jeez oh, that's fucking grim!
-
All he has to give is betrayal.

Milan Roma has been a lot of fun. Roma dominated the first half but went in at ht 1 down. Milan have since battered them but can't score.

Depressingly der hun impressed me in the way they took the game to celtic with ten men. On the flip side the hordes of mordor seem to be turning on Miovski which is pleasing.
-
Ugly sister semi has been quite entertaining 2bf. 1 each going into ET with der hun down to ten.

Because I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that Epstein would have had all the evidence he needed to bury every sex offender he ever entertained/supplied. He was also a man of significant means and, if his client list is as stacked with the worlds elite as has been made out, could absolutely make sure that in the event of his untimely death all the evidence is still released and they would burn along with him. As such the fact that nothing like that has come out since his death does make me wonder if his death was faked. You could argue it was far less risky for Epsteins clients to just get him out of the way whilst keeping him sweet. For people of that level of power it wouldn't be that difficult.
-
Given the context of the season so far that would be a hoor of a big risk to be taking but it could perhaps explain why he looked so happy after the game (according to SS anyway). Grinding out a result when you're playing shit is not to be sniffed at but if you have to that at Killie away something has gone wrong if you ask me.
-
Would hate to play against him
-
He's going to be holed up at Sandrinham, watch out for a passed away in his sleep. 2bh I wouldn't be surprised if they faked his death, gave him plastic surgery then set him up with a new identity.... and I wouldn't be that surprised if they had done that with Epstien also.

Last 25 minutes we looked burst against Killie too. I think the key point is Thelin needs to manage fatigue in the squad a bit better. E.g I appreciate Karlsson has taken a step down to come to Aberdeen but that doesn't mean he can't be subbed from time to time. He defo looked burst come 75 minutes at rugby park and should have been replaced. It's not like we don't have options for the wide attacking positions and fresh legs would have helped us get up the park a bit more instead of being so hemmed in. It really was quite shocking only one sub was made in that game and I've no idea what Thelin was thinking.

Would love to see him get himself to a level where he could contend for the national team again. When he came through at Aberdeen I thought he was a cert to make the RB position his own at international level. Hickey was still playing left back at the time I think and the shirt looks to be his but he's a player that hasn't been the luckiest with injury either.

Started having a look at Larnaca so thought I may as well start the thread. On the face of it this is a game we should be looking to win. In actuality, despite being a smaller team and having a squad value 10 million lower than ours and a wage bill less than half according to t'internet, this mob went to Palace and won 1-0 despite playing most of the second half with ten men. Clearly they are no mugs. We do have one reasonable advantage in that they have two games to play before we meet. One is currently underway, the Cypriot super cup final against Pafos which is 1-1 after half time. Didnt see the Pafos goal but Larnacas qualiser was a very well taken header from an excellent ball in from deep. Hard to say much more as the feed keeps dropping so you can't really get a feel for the game. They then have Limassol on Sunday so by the time they get around to playing us that will be their 6th game in 19 days. That's a gruelling schedule for any squad and will defo have an impact on their preperations. All in I think we can get something from this but we need to make sure we stay in the game to take advantage of their inevitable tiring in the second half.
