I would be genuinely lost without football in my life. It's a daily escape from the world that enhances my life in terms of both usually having a game to look forward to and maintaining friendships.
-
I would also add we seem to have our shit together far more now than when we started the campaign. I think if we plasyed the same fixtures now we would do better, possibly even sneak the playoff round but no better than that. Certainly wouldn't take six off athens

They do have big wings. I was walking my dog by the canal in Inverness a few years back and whilst off balance picking up his business i failed to notice a swan come up the bank about 20 metres down the path. Only realised with it's first hiss and the sensation of the lead being pulled from hand as my dog charged at it. Heart was in my mouth when it spread it's wings as I know they can break bones but, thankfully, Alaskan Malamutes are pretty fucking big themselves and when he got closer to said swan, said swan shat it and got back in the water pronto. It ended up swimming alongside and hissing at us for the next few minutes.
-
If he was going to be binned before this I suspect it would have been done by now.
-
At least we have a much needed break before utd. I would say we have had our moments in the last month enough to say we are making good progress. We defo seem to be attacking more at least. A big, and very achievable, result on Sunday sets us up nicely for the next run of games. I'm feeling reasonably optimistic about the Xmas fixture list 2bh.

I'm not so sure of that last bit. It's not impossible but there does seem to be a growing resilience in this team, I also think our front line will get a lot of space against their defence if they stick with the back 3. As such I'm really hopeful of a strong performance from Karlsson, he is usually double marked in domestic games and I doubt he will be on Sunday. I am wondering if Jimmy starts Bilalovic. He seemed to slot right in and looks pretty quick to boot.
-
Well aren't you guys just a ray of fucking sunshine today. Don't give a fuck about last night, was dead rubber tastic and think we will be well up for this one. 3-1 dons with their 1 being a late consolation
-
Well, glad that's over. A convincing defeat but hopefully not an overly morale sapping one.
-
This is going to be a looooong last 25 odd minutes
-
Super scoreboard reporting he has full backing of the board. We score first on Sunday it's going to get all kinds of toxic.
-
Polvara had been turning in some solid performances prior to Killie 2bf. Imo his best position would likely be a no 10 which doesn't seem to be an option at the moment. Time will tell but we defo need to shed a few to bring in players more suited to our current strategy. I would certainly be interested to see how Watson did alongside Aouchiche in those two CM places.
-
I find it odd that Polvara would be gone when he's been getting plenty game time recently whilst Ante hasn't had a sniff for ages.

I have no beef with Goodwin, seems a good guy and he had it about himself to resign thus not tasking any payout to leave. Speaks of good moral character even if he did think Anthony Stewart was a good choice of CB for playing out from the back with.
-
Och, all we need is a near perfect second half of the season and the titles ours
-
Did you get to speak to him Al?
-
Pat Bonnor seems convinced they are going to stick with him till January. I tell you what, they stick with that back 3 on Sunday I think our front line will have a lot of opportunities.
-
Nancy looks the epitomy of a defeated man. Wouldn't be surprised to see him gone tonight 2bh
-
What a difference a year makes though, the Tim implosion has been quite something to behold.
-
Unless celtic batter them I don't think it makes any difference to us. This is the first time I've really watched them under Nancy and whilst they are attacking a lot I'm not really getting the fear. They defo look shaky at the back and I think we will cause them problems

Fallout series 2 has just started on Prime. Though I'm just going to it from next week on as the number of long ad breaks they put into it was ridiculous. A bit annoyed that they are doing this weekly and not the whole thing as the whole point of Fallout is to gorge on it. Whining aside, solid episode one and can't wait to see where it goes.

Good question. I suppose it depends hugely on what it is that brings about the end of capatalism. If it's a really gruesome global war over resources (which seems the most likely) then it really is impossible to predict as it will likely take a long time before anything resembling civilisation starts to form again. That said, when it did, it would probably just adopt capitalism again A more positive scenario that would knock capitalism for 6 would be the advancement of automation to the point where humans don't actually have to work to live. That's not say they don't but it's because they want to and it's not for financial reward as we would think of it. I'm sceptical myself and no idea how it would work but ultimately the goal of automation has always been to make whatever job that's being automated easier for a human to complete. Eventually that ideal leads to no-one having to work because there is no need to and that would fuck with capitalism big time. What comes after that who knows but it would likely be a significant moment in human civilisation.

He's always come across as a grade A bellend to me 2bh, can understand why Killie fans didn't want him.

You did not imagine it. It confused the hell out of me as well as where I sit in the main I can turn around and just about see one of the screens in a corporate box and they show replays unlike the big screen. I.e I had seen enough of the replay to know if he had handled it was defo inside the box.
