  1. It's not impossible we could still sneak the top 6 though not overly likely. Regardless the best chance of actually retaining the Scottish Cup is for the team to steadily improve over the duratuion of the season and league games are key to that so I'm very fussed about seeing us put some wins on the board.
  2. Agreed. Pressley has actually done a pretty solid job there and I personally think this will be a tough game. I would snap your hand off for a scabby, dull 1-0 win 2bh.
  3. It certainly doesn't help the boys case that he pulled his shirt over his mouth to say whatever it was he said. Mbappe has weighed in as well “[Prestianni] called Vinícius a monkey five times, I saw it,” Mbappé said. “I cannot let things like this go. He’s a young player. How can you say things like that on a football pitch?". Prestianni has denied it saying basically saying he has been misquoted but not actually said what the correction would be to. In fairness I can't imagine it would be particularly easy to hear other players clearly on the pitch in such a noisy stadium so it's not impossible but all the other context around it makes me suspect there's probably something to it.
  4. Yep, fully expect Shinnie to be starting this one for that very reason. Re the motherwell away game. I felt for spells in the game we held them at arms length which as I understand it not too many teams have been able to do against them at all really. Optimism springs from this I think, whilst they were worth their win in the end they certainly didn't get it all their own way and given the respective clubs form going into the tie this feels like improvement. Is this enough to feel confident of a win tonight? No. But it's a different fixture and we are at home. Heed first, etc. 2-1 dons Nisbet and Keskinen
  5. It's amazing how football is still able to surprise. I've been fan of the game since 1990 and I have never heard of Bukta before. If anyone is in the same boat https://www.footballshirtculture.com/kit-design/the-history-of-bukta.html
  6. Or he just follows the rule "don't go back once you've left".
  7. Decent enough start I would say. Do love that North sea kit
  8. Personally I think the result will hinge on how well the two new midfielders settle 2bh
  9. The absolute state of this btw. That is fucking rancid
  10. Heard that rumour too and it does seem like 2+2 = 4 2bf
  11. Really pleased at this news. Got a lot of time for Doc though it does perhaps suggest we might be going with Leven for the rest of the season
  12. Quite the winter break we are getting...
  13. Not really sure they could update us other than with "we have interviewed people" which we already know.
  14. I fully agree the wait has become frustrating as we all feel like we are in limbo a wee bit. Equally though I don't see it as a sign of the club being a shambles, just thorough. I would also add that is possible to be interested in a job but still require convincing that it's the right one for you.
  15. Welcome to the board. It's pretty chilled to be honest, even disagreement usually stays civil.
  16. Delighted for you
  17. How much did Jens Berthel Askou know about Scottish football before he pitched up at Motherwell?
  18. An absolute peach of a nonsense banger has emerged from Australia the past few days.
  19. My biggest political regret is voting Labour in 97. I was young and naive. Not that it would have made the slightest bit of difference if I had voted for the snp candidate, Labour were always winning the seat. The most depressing realisation of my political life was around 2002. It came to mind that John Major is easily the best prime minister I've been around to see. It still stands to this day.
  20. The labour party died with John Smith, there's nothing to save.
  21. I'm well known for a being a dandy in my home town. When we won the cup last year I had a lot of messages from people wishing me well which was lovely. I have to say though, at least 50% were celtic fans. In particular my pal Gary's message sticks in my mind. Words to the effect of "I was fucking raging when mitov saved from Johnson until it cut to Aberdeen fans going mental. Instantly thought of you and all the shit you've been through over the years and couldn't not be delighted for you." I must admit I was very touched to get that message.
  22. It's frustrating but it is what it is. With the Motherwell game postponed this would be a great time to announce.
  23. Nope, I feel exactly the same 2bh
