Its good for a few reasons, decent rivalry on the park as they have such a stinking record against us. It is added to by the fact that there are loads of aberdeen fans in inverness which pisses off ict fans as well as meaning for a lot of the away support its essentially a home game and they can get on the blooter early doors in the comfort of their own home.

Fuck pressley, as a player he was hardly a shining beacon of fair play and silky football. Pot kettle black

I've got to be honest, I don't care how the three points were won, they were won and that is what is important. Touch wood relegation is now not an issue, I for one am delighted that a disappointing season is coming to a close. Its been a fucking nightmare no two ways about it but I have faith in MM. His career record is sound and regardless of this campaign i will not advocate calling for his head...... yet...... If its still abysmal by xmas that will change but I think an aberdeen legend deserves the patience of the fans to at least get his own team on the park. Scottish football is facing tough times, we might be in debt but whatever can be said about milne and his spending we at least don't have to worry about administration unlike a lot of other sides if press speculation about upcoming financial reports are to be believed. There are many sides I dislike but (gruesome twosome aside) I would hate to see scottish teams go to the wall. This depression (not just us but the scottish game in general I mean) has been coming for a while but it won't last for ever. I know its hard not to be disheartened but what doesn't kill you...... Well hopefully anyway. Stand free folks

totally, Every team has dips in form. this one is really shit but i have faith it will get better.

Don't sweat it dude, I skipped past it like a 3 yo parapalegic would a grassi challenge so its all good :-)

Aye your not the first I've heard to be pissed at mulgrew's attitude this season. Re whyte, I didn't think he was a bad captain. He was never shy of taking responsibility or trying to motivate players. No where he fell down was that he was just nothing short of an appalling footballer! The only worse defenders I have seen at aberdeen are byrne and solberg

In all honesty it was in reference to the stand free dvd (watched it a few weeks ago) here his first season was described as disappointing.

Its been a shite season and that's the truth! I would be a liar if I said I wasn't casting jealous eyes at derek adams at the moment, its some job he has done with county. That said though I don't think MM is a bad manager, his track record backs this up. I know its tempting tobin him but I think he'll turn it round given time. Its a fair point to say that fergie's first season was pretty stinking, if its still crap by xmas consider me in the mm must go club but for now I'm going to advocate patience.

I might be moving to aberdeen in the summer so will be getting one if I do. If so think I might try a season in the south stand
-
Very good article indeed, really summed it up for me nicely

Really? We have had to have a full back play centre half the season because our squad is so thin. Fyvie is getting put to right midfield at the moment because we lack wide options. if everyone was fit then i think our best 11 would maybe be slightly better than motherwells best 11 but there is no depth to our squad at all at the moment. I cant wait for this season to be over

I think aberdeen should drop player of the season this year in acknowledgment to what a disgrace of a season It has been and that none of them deserve any awards.

Speaking to a friend today who was saying he spotted MM at the caley county game on tuesday. I would speculate he would be looking at hayes and rooney at ict and boyd and gardyne at county

If only Stewart Milne could show some of this passion
tlg1903 replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
If that's the case then the club must be running at over a 4 and a half mill loss a season at the very least. That is clearly not the case, your good authority is not so good methinks -
Or from a different point of view the board bottled it instead of giving the man a chance to build a team. I think the number of changes that celtiv have made to their squad (wether so many was advisable is another matter) the board should have shown a bit more patience and given him till the end of the season.

Milne is a funny one, his constant attendance at games and the fact he's not gone "fuck ya" even after all the abuse he's taken indicates he does indeed give a shit. The fact that given the financial resources he has that he's not cleared the significant debt that he himself steered the club into implies that he only gives a small shit and that he might not even bother wiping once its done. -
Might not be rooney, could be foran or hayes who I would take happily at the moment.

If you look around at the pitches all through the spl they are looking very shabby. The winter obviously hasn't helped but apparently undersoil heating doesn't help either. Takes up a lot of space and the grass can't root as well as it should meaning its not as resilient.

McGhee on the "You're not fit to wear the shirt" chants
tlg1903 replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Really dave? I certainly didn't expect to win on sat. Thought we probably should given the gap in both clubs player wages but it was a cup game away to decent, hard working 1st division side and to expect victory given current form is just a tad silly if you ask me. Christ man utd went out of the cup at home to leeds not so long ago, upsets happen every week in football. I can't help but think a lot of people are making to much of this, we're still in the cup after all -
Reckon the reason mclean has accepted the loan deal is purely down to it being last chance saloon. Either loan to us or nae game at plymouth for the rest of the season. I would rather have him on loan first to see how he settles, obviously there is the risk of little security if he's amazing but I can't see him banging in 20 goals by the end of the season.

Lee Miller: Will he stay or will he go?
tlg1903 replied to Wanderingdon's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Bye lee, you had your moments thought not very many. Just like to thank dundee utd for giving miller to us and therefore giving us half a million quid. Hopefully we can get another couple of players in now as well though i'll be happy with what we have so far
