  1. Wouldnt surprise me at all. Hughes trys to play football to so i certainly wouldnt grudge them success.
  2. In fairness players like jess and booth were scoring hat-tricks when they were 19.
  3. Still the last striker who scored 20 goals for us in a season
  4. Disapointing. I always liked him when he was at livi and would hve liked to see him in red.
  5. Fucking right. I think what calderwood has basically said is that maybury still hasnt gone anywhere and he might still sign with us. Personally i've had enough of the whole saga. At least Nicholson was up front about wanting to leave, Lee miller realised that the grass is always greener. Sign up or fuck off now maybury you've had more than long enough
  6. Actually going to have to backtrack a little. Not every season but he did get 20 in season 96/97
  7. Aye dodds was shite. Oh Please! He was the last striker to wear aberdeen colours that scored more than 20 goals a season. And he did that every season he played for us. We clearly have a different understanding of the word shite
  8. I always found it a bit of a strange one for someone with such left wing tendencies. Apparently though the reason he did it was because he was trying to get medical aid into the country and saddam decided to grant him an audience.
  9. Yep dodds's workrate alongside stavs prowess. that would be a 50 a season partnership if they both stayed fit
  10. Aye pretty good, electronica with the odd bit of hip hop thrown in . Sae them on the culture show and thought they were ok. Realised about half way throught he song that it was Gruff Rhys singing so went and bought the album the next day. If you
  11. That would be nice but i cant see aluko or walker signing on permanently
  12. Pre clydebank leg break jess. Maybe a bit controversial but arild stavrum. Billy dodds. Russell anderson. Duncan shearer.
  13. It was the first goal i thought of but unfortunately it was the 11/11/95 so doesnt count
  14. Time up for Frail at Tynecastle Stephen Frail is expected to sever his ties with Hearts after being asked to stay away from the Edinburgh club's pre-season preparations. Frail, a former defender at Tynecastle, has been the caretaker manager since January and has been on the coaching staff since October 2004. Frail declined to comment and Hearts may make a statement next week.
  15. Big season for jeffrey i reckon. He showed in flashes last season that he's got loads of skill. Hopefully he can put injurys behind him and that he's adapted to the pace of the scottish game.
  16. Whats the pic? work computers wont let me see it
  17. Belladrum is more about the atmosphere than the bands. To be honest the only act thats playing that i want to see is col war kids, the rest looked pretty average. Going to go to loopalu instead this year, heard a rumour that the furries might be headling which would actually make me rather aroused. Rock ness was the tits though, best weather i've ever had for a festival and saw some brilliant acts. probably the stand out was the crystal method and hadouken. Did go see css and underworld but pulled a 6ft blonde and was somewhat distracted so couldnt really tell you what they were like
  18. The only reason i mentioned it was cos i remembered the most depressing point of my life was when ebbe took over and we were the worst team in europe for a while. Thing is at least there was hope (well kinda), there's hee haw for the jambo's as far as i can see
  19. It must be really depressing to be a hearts fan at the moment. There really doesnt seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel in terms of their being fuckedness.
  20. Well he's not going to be able to stay in glasgow is he
  21. Regardless of his history always liked his never say die attitude when playing and lets face it that is something clearly lacking in our side. Also i had a lot of respect for him when he stood up to mad vlad. Yeah i'd have him, Weir is still doing well at 36/7 and lets face it pressleys game was never based on pace.
  22. I was going to the game a few seasons ago when lovell scored the lob in the 83rd minute and stopped in there for a pint on the walk to the game. Unfortunately bumped inot a boy i knew and got outed as a dandy. Never had a whole pub boo me before, felt like a villain in a panto!
  23. Fair play to Gow. Probably under a lot of pressure to leave but lets face it who the fuck would want to livei n burnley
