As much as it pains me to say this i dont think celtic fc should be branded as the same as their fans. The club spoke out against it, it was a minority of supporters that made the political protest................ And thats what it was at the end of the day. Whats annoyed me is the way those fans have been ostracised, because they have a different viewpoint they should be punished? What the fuck happened to freedom of speech? If anything their protest was against government foreign policy and as an ex member of the armed forces i completely agree with their sentiments about iraq and afghanistan. A lot of innocent people have died because of those wars.

If im honest i cant help but think that MM has said to the board something along the lines off "give me till say xmas and if nothing has improved than i will walk". Its the most logical explanation for situation. All the inside chat was he would go if we lost to ICT and this has been his form of plea bargain. If this is this case (and i assure you this nothing but speculation on my part but it fits nicely) then it would raise my opinion of MM for at least he was not giving up. With regards to Crightons article its very much saying the decision has been made lets just get on with it for the time being. He has a point. How long MM has is uncertain but one thing i will say is that if we can get any kind of defence organised we are capable of taking points from anyone in the spl. We all know this is a gamble by the board but ultimately if it pays off, and MM has a decent record as a manager elsewhere so thats not impossible, maybe a gothenburger will not lose his club legend status and that would be no bad thing.

I can only think that this means he has survived and will be in charge post ibrox. It would appear the board has made it's decision at last.

Looked this up last night, they are saying things like sensitive to the feelings of their fans etc. If i was a wimbledon fan i would be well up for the chance of playing them, Just think if you won? My county contact says the average age of the squad is about 24 and everything that has been done under his reign has been thinking 6-12-18 months down the line. My pal is pretty worried, he reckons derek is exactly what we need and we would be fools to not at least try to speak to him
