  1. Yeah me too! Did a little swotting up on the guy. Defo a threat in the air! He was signed on a 5 year deal in 2009 and was playing off the bench 1st team football for AFCB at 15 due to player shortages. AFCB were in the shit at this point of his career and he played in the conference south and then league 2. That was the last time he ever played for them and has had various loan spells in the conference and league up until exeter. His strike record is varied but, bar his time at luton, he has scored fairly regularly when he was in the first 11 more often than on the bench. I had a look at a cherries forum and generally there was positivity about his play and wanting him to get a good move. Also Howe rated him it would seem and you would say he knew his onions when it came to youth development. I found it interesting he was given a one year deal last summer just as the got promoted to the top flight, if he was useless surely he would have been discarded then instead. So far it's between ourselves, Exeter and Portsmouth it would seem and I agree with one fan that pointed out that AFC fans would be delighted if we got to dick Bournemouth for the development fee after the pittance they paid for Fraser.
  2. Motherwell have made an offer for Fas El Bak, he's a player worth taking a gamble on imo. He would definitely offer a new dimension to our attack.
  3. I would highly recommend the radio 5 documentary aptly name named Hillsborough : the truth. It's about 2 hours but an excellent piece of journalism.
  4. I certainly wouldn't be binning shankland just yet. He's done really well at Helen and I think he will come back full of confidence and a point to prove
  5. Storie it is. Ballsy
  6. I've had a knot in my stomach all day long manc
  7. dundee 0 - 0 celtic. Its the hope that kills you the most
  8. The king is dead long live the king
  9. Hell of a match this isn't it. Arguably the toughest away game on the calender these days but the blistering form of sunday's 1st half would be hard for any team in the league to cope with giving us all hope. It will be very interesting to see the hearts line up after their squad illness. Agree manc it's storie or flood but i suspect it would be flood. A first starting as a pairing with jack at Tynecastle would be a bold move therefore not so likely from DM. Also you could argue that when both are on form flood and jack is our best centre mid pairing. Jack has started to look a bit more like himself recently and we need him to have a big game on friday. 2-1 Aberdeen Maclean and maybe, just maybe Rooney. Wouldn't that be a happy friday?
  10. I was on for 100 notes if accies had scored, had on 3-1 with maclean anytime scorer. Accies were pretty stinking it has to be said but we played well. Shinnie motm for me
  11. Well well, is it possible we are about to give a team a doing at long last?
  12. I see ict are trying to sign bannigen on a pre contract. Be a strange move for him you would think, hardly a step up
  13. Would that be this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcQCy4tNnY0 Really impressive, all kinds of goals and he clearly has good technique. What impressed me most was the number of times he kept the ball low and placed when it would have been easier to stick the laces through it and probably still score. A very canny player imo and looks far better than church.
  14. Seen malin a couple of times and he look promising, I've seen nothing of FEB.
  15. I would have loved to have gone to a game there before they moved but such is life. They have 20k more season tickets to sell next season hence the ticket price but they clearly have loft aspirations and why not? They will be quite a big draw next transfer window as they now have the ideal set up. Big stadium in London with a big and loyal fan base + a shit load of telly money. Bilic seems to know what he is doing as well!

I knew nothing about deapool before I went to see it which added to the experience..... I've been thinking about it a lot the past few days and it's really hard to think of any real flaw to the film. It's defo going to be remembered as a classic in future years.

I finally got around to seeing Deadpool last night. Worth the hype, its beautiful satire on so many levels. I also couldn't help but note how many superhero movie trailers there were pre film. It had to be about 3/4 of them at least, and the the words over saturated came to mind by the end of them. Interestingly Deadpool is set to take more money than the last, and highest grossing, x men movie.
  18. I think we are more than capable of winning at Tynecastle, they ain't all that as St J showed yesterday and they are playing Inverness away 3 days prior to the match. It's a winnable game for sure and we may yet get Rooney back in time for it too so I'm not writing that one off just yet. It was such a suckerpunch yesterday and watching it unfold was torture. I've been getting horrible wee flashbacks all day... this one is going to take a while to get over. Completely agree about shinnie, there are just so many better options in midfield but him. That's not a criticism of his midfield displays but there's no one that can go in midfield that that even comes close to covering his loss to the defence multiplied by Considine having to play LB. Flood or Storie would have been better options yesterday.
  19. Still on the a9 north, utter cunt of a day. McInnes really needs to stop fucking around with the defence every week.
  20. Game over.
  21. Was just about to post that. There's a lot to admire about Falkirk this season it would seem and you have to give credit to Houston's management. Hibs playing budget (Hibs who are running at an 800k loss whilst in the championship) shits on Falkirks and that's even before you take into account what the tribute act are shelling out on wages. To have them where they are compared to the clubs they are up against is quite an achievement. It's also great experience for Rogers too.
  22. Ah, I misread his post . To be honest I remember Copenhagen but I don't remember what preceded it... Slightly more hedonistic days back then .
  23. There's no danger Motherwell won't want this game to go ahead, they would lose a lot of money if it has to be postponed. A poster on p&b made the fair point that Motherwell were very accommodating with afc in agreeing a postponement prior to Copenhagen game. It will be hugely disappointing if it is postponed though, it was promising to be a grand day out.
  24. The context of the type of season St M are having has to be applied to his stats and actually I think this could turn out to be a really good loan move. Being a striker for a team that has been struggling forces you to live of less chances and even more importance is added to each goal you do score. His previous stats show that the boy knows where the back of the net is, I'm hoping a season at Helen will add a sharper edge to his blade and give him the confidence to do what he does best when playing in a much better team.
  25. We all know how the table stands but looking ahead at games up to the split is interesting. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/fixtures Both ourselves and the victims have tricky away fixtures next week and they have already dropped points at rugby park this season. After the international break they are home to Hertz in an early sat KO then away to dundee the tuesday after. Another early ko sat away to motherwell takes them into the split and I can't help but think when you look at these fixtures you struggle to see them winning them all. After motherwell we are home to hamilton then away to hertz. Tynecastle is obviously a worry.......... but the fact they are playing the tuesday night prior away to ICT could really play into our hands. We obviously need to do the business against motherwell which is going to be tough, they have hit a patch of form but possibly Skippy might be suspended for it which would be a massive boost as he's always a pain in the arse to play against. If we take 9 from 9 from our final 3 with little good fortune we may even go into the split top of the league......
