  1. If yer gonna watch the original Mad Max, makes sure its the original audio and not the dodgy american dub

  3. 2 aberdeen teams 0 goals scored 11 goals conceded. Great weekend for granite city football Banks O Dee didnt get the memo though
  4. Board didnt sack Mcghee after the 9-0 debacle instead waiting for killie to 'scrape' a 2-0 win. Deja vue?
  5. Brother (singular). Malcolm died a few years back and his son has taken over in rhythm guitar. He was also born in scotland though but entire family was from Glasgow East end so barring a link to religion id be more inclined to put them in the green section. Anyway this isnt the first time their merchandisers have done tie ups with sports teams so nothing special
  6. Which ones? Some claiming its inspired by ACDC's first ever gig in Scotland but some say that was actually in Edinburgh. Only good news is apparently there is going to be a 2024 tour
  7. And doesn't go into every match at Ibrox or Parkhead thinking the game is already lost so play for damage limitation
  8. And biggest shock in scottish cup history. Brora and Hearts lose their crowns to Darvel and aberdeen
  9. Having flashbacks to a cup tie at starks park in the mcghee era. Real nasty atmosphere in the dons end and fuse only snuffed out in last minute when Gary Macdonald tapped in from about yards out. Its the seeming lack of pride that bugs me most with these dons players
  10. Wonder if Hearts had a similar team talk before they stepped out on the pitch at Brora?
  11. Off the Ball saying the draw is at 6pm (for some bizarre reason)
  12. It seems to me the majority of referees (not just in scotland) will happily concede responsibility for anything the moment they are told to look at the VAR screen. That penalty at Parkhead was a joke.
  13. Ive paid more for the Parkhead away end

  15. Derby were in administration at the time and Shinnie's contract was going to expire 6months later. In better circumstances Id say Wigan would have been told to GTF
  16. Wonder if the goalie gets done for chucking a flat back into the crowd?
  17. So having been lost in the world of work, was this akin to say 'Scotland vs the All blacks' in the rugby world cup in 2007 ie one team just never bothered and as I see it 'cheated' several thousand people out of ticket money?
  18. The word 'are' should not be used until the builders set up the site. Right now all Dundee have done is submit a 'proposal of Application notice' which is essentially the club telling the council they are thinking about building a stadium but are planning to consult the public first, but wanted to ask if the council required them to consult anyone else before they put in a formal planning application. Council has recommended they submit an 'applicaiton for pre-application advice' before they put in a formal planning application which at least hints they are willing to assist the club to get consent for it but I reckon it will be at least 18months to 2 years before they get planning approval. Then comes the staged building warrant application which would take another 1-2 years taking us to 2026. If by then the UK hasnt become slightly more sensible, the price of materials might be so high and the availability of labour so low the most basic no frills stadium might not be financially viable even if they were able to sell Dens park for housing. I know next to nothing about Dundee but like many other residential areas around old UK football stadia, the streets around Dens and Tannadice don't stick out to me as a prime luxury housing development opportunities
  19. or alternatively hes 5ft5 and we have an issue with the rest of the squad
