Fair enough. I yield to your local knowledge and chastise myself for ever doubting Aberdeen City Council would finally allow anything other than flats and retail parks to be constructed.

FFS thats either AI or someone who only does 3D visuals without so much as googling images of Aberdeen Beachfront or 'how do you actually build stuff' Im sure Codonas etc are well chuffed they've been wiped off the map. 20 years ago they were producing the same stuff (except with trams!!!)

For whatever reason I couldnt get any coverage of the home game against Bohemians in the highlands. Radio Scotland MW was never the strongest signal and it might not even have been covered by the BBC. Only way to follow the game was on teletext. At 90mins with the dons 1-0 up I clicked refresh. That refresh took 15mins to work and with no internet or mobile phones etc I refused to believe the final score till North Tonight showed the goals

Questionable? Unpredictable? Borderline illegal? -
Someone going to edit the title or should this thread be abandoned? Anyway this seasons conference league shall feature the following Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar) Shelbourne & Shamrock Rovers (Eire) Hamrun Spartans (Malta) Pots for the draw so no trip to Gibraltar

Hibs doing their best to change the meaning of 'hibsed it'

Im assuming failing to respond accordingly to 'well this insnt the final everybody wanted eh panda?' and 'what do you think Neil Lennon would do if he was here?' killed off any future prospects

To paraphrase Tam Cowan 'If ever a team needs a result....'

Is what it is but just because some clownshow comes calling doesnt mean you have to have to work for them especially if its only a short term contract with a company that has a bad record of paying for things without lawyers and courts getting involved. Im thinking Miovski is like old Arild. 'Ive seen Scotland, Ive seen Spain, lets try Turkey/ Netherlands/ Austria etc etc'

Good to see the late 90s/ early 2000s Paramount & Ministry bouncers still getting a gig

At current building costs thats one small leisure centre. Might have enough space for a pool table if you dont mind angling the cues up the wall on 3 sides

Playing with 10 men now. Dons player just walked off the pitch and no subs left

Not unless there was a mad rush on friday. About 900 tickets were left when I checked on Thursday. Reckon had there been more positive performances/ results against tic and jambos they would have all been snapped up Be nice if a player wearing a dons shirt actually scored (at the right end)

For anyone going tomorrow (or if you know someone going), if you want to buy any food at the ground make sure you take cash. Back on Hogmanay vs Partick the only 'refreshments' on offer was an independant burger van parked behind the wee dublin end and they didnt take card payments. It might be different tomorrow but better to be prepared

Stadium, 180 bed hotel, conference centre, health spa and retail (lot of non football things to go wrong there). 4.5miles away from oxford centre in neigbouring town of Kidlington but doea have the bonus of a railway station This is similar to Bolton shifting to the Reebok except unlike Oxford they werent getting evicted from their old ground and had parachute payments from the premier league to help finance it Great they got planning approval but that just means the council will let them build it. Actually getting the builders on site on the other hand.....

I think Lincoln Red Imps just guaranteed themselves a place in the Conference League group stage

Price of materials and labour etc has gone through the roof in last 5 years (something happened about the start of February 2020 but no one seems to know. Lots of politicians and journalist wont even talk about it so it must be really bad) A £10million development in 2017 could be closer to £25million now. There are certain brands ill try to avoid specifying as their price per m2 went from £12 to £45 and sometimes you can no longer get it shipped to the UK. My gut is starting to say if anything happens stadium wise it will be pittodrie redevelopment likely after (or 'if) 'safe standing' becomes widely accepted in Scotland (not just small sections). New Main, Merkland and South stand with the latter two having only rail seating. Capacity for European games cut to circa 13000 but for domestic games 20000 assuming the 1 rail seat = 2.5 standing ratio is correct. Funding for this will come from selling the land earmarked for the new stadium as housing.
