  1. Fairly certain Campbell will replace Ojo if indeed Ojo has done his hammy. Also have to think that with ankle ligament damage, even if it's just a bad sprain, that Bryson is out at least 3 weeks...…..longer if its more than a sprain. So likely Ferguson dropping back a bit (not really his best use tbh) with Hedges and A.N. Other completing the midfield. Agree about Logan coming back in for Vyner….think we can all see Vyner is a centre back and really only good enough to be emergency cover at right back. Lack of players will hopefully force McInnes to change tactics and go with 2 up top. I know a lot of our fans have already written Main off as gowder but I really don't think we have seen enough of him to do that at this point. He wasn't great at St Mirren....but then again the whole team were shyte that day and he was by no means the worst performer. Cosgrove was horrendously bad on Saturday...…..so bad I really think he needs dropping to get him to buck his ideas up and I think it would be a good game to see how Main and Wilson perform as a strike duo. However in reality I don't see this happening and Cosgrove will likely start and DM will still find a way of playing the rancid 4-5-1. Hoping to be in for this one, although not expecting any great entertainment. No prediction for the score, either team could win this and with our tombola definitely in use just too many variables to be confident of any outcome.
  2. It's admittedly funny, as is the similar situation across the city at Hibs. But right now our form is barely any better. The fans in Edinburgh want the managers of both teams replaced. Law of averages says that if they do, they must hit upon a competent manager(s) sooner or later and in those circumstances could easily overhaul us unless we sort our shit out. What may scupper that is (especially in the Hibs situation)….they have managers on biggish money and on longish contracts, similar to the situation with McInnes. We won't be firing him any time soon because of that unless we find ourselves in relegation trouble in late Feb/early March of any season he's contracted for. I suspect that Hearts will follow that philosophy. Hibs might not even be able to act at all if it were to happen to them
  3. Read further down the conversation. The source was supposedly a Liverpudlian who knows Kent's mother However this "Liverpudlian" was posting in the weegie vernacular. Suspect its just a Dhimwit trying to stir up some huns….tbf he got a few bites. Ah well. I do see Kent got crocked in the first half of his debut. Lets hope it keeps on happening
  4. Really interesting twitter chat that could be hilarious if true Apparently sevco have informed Liverpool that they cant afford to pay the first instalment of the transfer fee and Liverpool have set things in motion to get him back Supposedly the real reason why mark allen suddenly quit ana. Of course this is totally without evidence to back it up but if it turns out to have legs then it's the funniest shit to go down since their ancestors died

    Solheim Cup

Have been priveliged to witness some fantastic finishes in the Ryder Cup over the years but what just happened half an hour ago has just topped the lot. With the last 6 matches on the course looked like the European ladies were going to come up a point or 2 short. With 2 matches left on the course, it still looked like a very improbable task, both matches all square but Europe needing to win both. Law bunkered on the 15th and leaves her first attempt still in there but somehow put her next one to 8 feet and holed for the half. Then won the next 2 holes, the win at the 17th coming a minute before the grand climax. Suzann Petterson, captains pick ranked 600 odd in the world, only played a couple of tournaments in 2 years after the birth of her son. 8 feet left to win the Cup! And promptly rolled it in. Winning the Cup with the very last putt in the very last match on the course. Unbelieveable! Massive congratulations The European Ladies Team!
  6. Lesbians manage to satisfy each other without requiring a tadger at all. (And despite popular belief....they don't all strap one on either). Read a book on female anatomy/physiology. The root of the female orgasm does not lie deep in the cunt.....
  7. Absolutely comfortable and well worth out lead until our esteemed captain chucked in yet another goal. He seems to enjoy god like status with many of our fans but in reality he has made similar fuck ups 3 to 4 times each season he has been with us yet escapes severe scrutiny. When Consi or McGinn produce such howlers they get weeks of grief. about it. Once they had scored, there was only one team in it and it certainly wasn't us. Long ball shit in a howling gale? It's just criminal. Hedges was totally anonymous in the second half. Anonymous still was a better showing than Gallagher produced when he inexplicably came on to replace Bryson. And giving Wilson his customary 10 minutes? Cosgrove was rank and he should have been the first one subbed off after an hour. McInnes this really isn't good enough. With the size and length of your contract you are far safer than the performances you are getting from the team warrant. 3 away games coming on the trot now and if we play like we did today I can see us coming out of them with nul points and a cup exit.....even allowing for the jambos' utter shyteness.
  8. Obviously am gutted for the loon, suspect this will be the end of him with us, by the time he returns he will be nearly 23 with a year left on his contract. This season I feel was make or break for him and this has totally ruined his chances.
  9. I'll reserve judgement to see what happens when it goes before the UK Supreme Court next week. This could end up not only with Parliament in turmoil but also the UK wide judiciary if they go against the Scottish decision. Whatever happens, the Party Conferences are about to swing into action and so nothing will happen in the interim. I've never understood why these conferences have to take place in Parliamentary time. Surely to god they could take place in the summer recess...…...MP's get quite enough holiday allocation as it is.
  10. Agree with McLennan starting but for me it's Ferguson who should start this one on the bench rather than Bryson. Vyner did ok in the last game and despite McInnes' optimism of Logan being fit, I suspect discretion will be the better part of valour and he won't be risked to start. For no obvious reason, St Johnstone regularly cause us problems that the gulf in finances really ought to mean they shouldn't so I'll be happy just to get past this one with a scrappy 1-0 win. However the Stevie May factor will also play a part in this game, he'll be desperate to get on the scoresheet and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he does.
  11. At least McKenna is safe in the knowledge that his injury won't have cost him his place in the team. It's a horrendous thought but in a year's time Tavernier from sevco will qualify for us on residential grounds. I think Logan might even qualify already but his form has been so sketchy for the past 2 years I don't think Clarke would consider him, but Tavernier definitely will be at least asked the question.
  12. Absolutely dreadful performance. The back line were utterly out of their depth, O'Donnell especially utterly exposed as for what he is.....an SPL level journeyman who should be saved from further embarrassment by never getting selected for a squad again. As for Clarke...…...was pretty much the unanimous choice of the punters. But his performance so far seems to be exposing him also. Not quite the tactical genius that everyone made out. Our squad might be described as "limited" in ability, especially in defence and up front. The least we should expect of them at home is to at least have a go at the opposition. After a taking the lead, what we saw was reminiscent of a Mcinnes team.....insipid game management trying to hold on grimly to a lead. We got exactly what we deserved in the end and tbh the result could have been worse had Russia taken their chances. There's now a very decent chance we won't even finish third in our group. Unacceptable.
  13. I'dve started loudly discussing the merits of Huns and Tims being neutered at birth for the benefit of the human race to prevent them reproducing. Then extolling the virtues of Liverpudlians who are millions of light years ahead of Mancunians in evolutionary terms. With the obvious intent of provoking a square go with either Mr Hun or Mr Manc. Ideally both.
  14. Cant see them not playing their £20million striker, despite the fact he's fucking gowder and was hoping not to get picked for the squad anyway. Actually think our midfield is as good as it has been in the past 25 years and cant not see us scoring. However the defence is just about as bad as it has been ever so can't see us not conceding either. With a bit of luck....2-1 win. Bad luck....1-2 defeat. Most likely.....1-1 draw Devlin to suffer an injury playing pool in the hotel and out until after the January break
  15. I have absolutely no problem with the SNP's position on Brexit as Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain and indeed, even when broken down into individual constituencies, each and every one returned a vote to remain. As has ben said, the SNP's job is to look after Scottish interests so if that conflates with UK interests then so be it. That said, as things stand we are still a part of the UK. And the UK as a whole voted to leave. The Government was entrusted to ensure this happened but Theresa May wasn't satisfied with the majority she inherited from Cameron and felt she could strengthen her position in 2017 by holding a very early election. Bizarrely the Tories actually strengthened their position in Scotland but overall lost some of the majority and ended up weaker. This ennobled Remainers to star to do everything in their power to frustrate the Brexit process. The Irish backstop was Remainers "bonus ball" get out where they could pretty much always vote down any deal May was able to negotiate, although it turned out she was as weak as water anyway and the European negotiators left the table each time offering deals that in essence meant that we were only leaving in name only and to all purposes really weren't leaving at all. The Irish backstop has no solution other than a return to a hard border. Not even Boris would be mad enough to risk that one given that certain factions of the IRA are already showing signs of a return to action. A hard border and full on terrorist activity would be inevitable. However any other option discussed so far has no real support and some of the ideas put forward have no technology available to implement them even if they could theoretically work. I'm certain that an Ireland wide plebiscite on reuniting the island is only a matter of 3 to 5years down the line and I think the result will be a united Ireland..........probably the best option all round although the Unionists will be furious and likely a good number will demand resettlement somewhere in Britain. As for Brexit........will it happen? No I don't think it will now. The Tories should increase their standing in England in the inevitable forthcoming election but will lose a few seats in Scotland so likely we will still end up with a hung Parliament. I'm not sure then what I'd prefer.....a Boris led minority administration or a Corbyn coalition propped up by the SNP and Lib Dems. Either way, Brexit won't happen as the remainers should find enough support to frustrate any attempts to leave. A Corbyn led coalition would just cancel it full stop.
  16. Well he would do. He was a presenter on Dhim TV a few years back.
  17. Boris treating what's happening later today/tomorrow as a confidence vote thus allowing him to call an election. And what I'm finding utterly bizarre is that quite a number of Labour MP's who have been on TV today are saying that they'll vote down having an election (apparently under the new rules two thirds of MP's must vote in favour of an election for it to happen outwith the Fixed Term Parliament arrangements). I couldn't envisage a better time for Labour. The Brexit Party will be fielding candidates in most constituencies down south and will cream off some of the natural Tory vote and could allow Labour (or Lib Dem) to sneak wins in constituencies which up to now wouldn't even be considered marginal. Big winners in all this are the SNP who will increase their number of MP's and still have a mandate for a new referendum when Britain inevitably does leave the EU via whatever method it happens under.
  18. I don't know any non hun that doesn't hope they go tits up but if they keep on qualifying for the Europa League Group stages then it won't be happening any time soon, I predicted they'd go for Kent using the cash they'll make from the Europa League ties (the cash from ticket sales alone will very nearly cover it). There's no doubt though that it will catch up with them eventually. They'll need to punt players out but the wages they pay mean that even if they can get players out the door, they have to subsidise their wages elsewhere. Greg Stewart hasn't been seen in weeks and now falls even further behind in the pecking order for even a bench place. Fuck him.....but hope he steals a wage for the next 3 years doing absolutely fuck all to earn it. As for Kent.....would be epically funny if he smashes his knee to smithereens in his first game.
  19. Sevco Media is a fucking scream right now. Absolute meltdown...…..3 hours ago they were winning the league now Gerrard's a clown Long may it continue
  20. We were well worth the win yesterday and for sure we could have scored more. The McGinn and Cosgrove misses actually look worse and worse each time you see them......Cosgrove from around 8 yards had the whole goal to aim at and managed to pick out the defender in the middle of the goal line.....30 minutes later he has a penalty from more than twice the distance and sticks it in the corner with ease Not getting overly excited about the win. We absolutely should be swatting aside teams of that level at home. What McInnes has been good at (and thus keeping us above the Edinburgh clubs who are closest to us budget wise) is managing to beat those sides on a fairly regular basis away from home as well. So far I've seen no evidence that we can expect to see that on a regular basis this season as all our away performances have been dire. There may be mitigating circumstances as our back line has been decimated by injury and he has chopped and changed the attacking midfielders trying to find the right blend. I think we have now found it and the international break has come at an ideal time allowing us to hopefully get a few of our injured back to fitness. The fixture list has been kind to us this season. Thankfully we have avoided the arse cheeks up till now as I'm certain had we faced them up to now a couple of absolute horsings would have resulted. We get a couple of eminently winnable games against St J and Livi followed by the Hearts LC tie before facing sevco. We need to be going into that one with a squad full of confidence.
  21. Saw a picture of him coming on standing next to Abraham. Looked like a midget, similar tiny legs as John Spencer had. Guessing the Chelsea loanee rumours are just that then. Preparing to be totally underwhelmed tomorrow as the transfer window shuts. Celtic will get a decent left back in Taylor. Sevco will try to get Kent (not saying they'll succeed). We will likely get sweet FA. Although sweet FA is infinitely preferable to the other name linked with us (Ikechi f@ckin Anya )
  22. Aye JK is a fucking hoot tonight, everyone demanding Levein essentially sacks himself. Did any of you see their new Japanese loan signing? Fuck me, he looks about 14. Celtic Boys Club coaches will be queuing up...... However at least they c@nts don't hide after a shitty result. Went for a gloat on Hivs.net and as per usual they've fired it onto lockdown.
  23. And conversely they could easily have had a couple themselves with the missed pen and hitting the post. Good result to go into the international break with, especially with the Edinburgh teams losing ground on us. Hopefully some of our defenders will be fit by the time we resume.
  24. Yep it's Gilmour that I've heard too. I suspect he would be vying for a place with either Ferguson or Bryson. You would have to assume that Chelsea would stipulate he has to play a certain percentage of game time as part of the loan agreement so one of our players isn't going to be a happy camper.
  25. Caravan dwellers go 5-1 up against der jutehun, Cracking game to watch. Looks like the arabs finally have a side that will get them back up. Dundee can feel a bit aggrieved at having a perfectly good opening goal chalked off for offside by a duff linesman.
