Then top 8 from each group play off in knock out phase to produce Apertura champion. They then have a break for World Cup and then repeat for Clausura. Sounds over complicated to me. 1 Quote

I feel like their league seems to always be complicated, didn’t appear to be a regular home and away fixture situation from memory either? Or maybe I just didn’t pay enough attention to it. Quote
