  • I'm very glad that I can watch the Dons most weeks and then switch off to all other football (Scotland aside). I do watch the occasional game on the telly (rarely a whole game), mainly the BBC Friday

Am I right in thinking that every single Premiership team has taken something from Pittodrie this season - except Hearts? Had they won at Pittodrie earlier in the season, they'd already be champi

4-2 to The Victims and only forty minutes gone

Dundee have beaten Falkirk, which suits us.

Assume I have missed something here but how are Sky allowed to show the Livi/Tims game live at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon 😉

Something to do with it being Christmas

Nae 3pm English games maybe? Can't be arsed to check.

Motherwell supposedly outplaying Celtic all over the park, in the first half tonight.

Just saw the Motherwell goals

This playing it out from the back is working a treat. Every single week some team is making a complete arse of it

Motherwell seem to manage it fine.

They played some really nice football in the semi against St Mirren but still got pumped

When did we all become football purists? Jimmy Calderwood would go through this league like a hot knife through butter

Not with our players he wouldn't. McInnes isn't exactly a purist, and..... you might have a point.

Sunderland giving as good as they get against Manchester City. End to end game. All that’s missing is a goal.

And didn’t get one as finished 0-0. Enjoyable watch though.

Tims folding like a cheap suit yet again.

Just makes our latest spineless capitulation down there the other week look even worse.

Even a tiny bit of belief, attacking intent and positivity and this lot would have fallen apart - but no, timid sitting off it was

Bag o shite….

The Nancy boy won't survive this

we need a strong Rangers

There will likely never be a better chance for a non cheek team to win the league in decades, & where are we - absolutely fuckin nowhere.

Unbelievably frustrating… 🤦‍♂️

Didn't watch it and didn't know it was on. However...I did see the BBC Sport headline at what would have been half time and it said Celtic wiped them off the park and should have been clear.

I just went on to Kerrydale street and the entitlement is off the scale. 🤣

Greatest fans in the world though and I take great satisfaction that it all started to unravel for them on that beautiful day back in May of last year. :ultras:

First half the Tims were the better team.

Second half the huns came out, went at them and they fell apart - again.

We of course just sat off all day and let them play with no pressure at all.

Its our culture though, has been for literally decades now - timid, spineless acceptance that we just can’t compete, no matter what…

There is a mental block or possibly some weird virus that infects almost every dons player the moment they sign the contract that celtic are Brazil 1970 so dont even think about trying to attack or consider competing. Seemed to start appearing around about April 1996 when the tic won 5-0 at Parkhead.

My ex (aussie) used to say a similar virus had infected all scottish sport based on what she witnessed in football, rugby etc when she was here.

Someone needs to get down to the Hampden and Murrayfield physio rooms and pick up some medication for those in red.

Perhaps should the unthinkable happen and a new stadium actually gets built, this virus might stay behind in the remnants of pittodrie free to wreak havoc on all those who live in the new flats eventually leading to a Danny Robins podcast

Livingston v St Mirren tonight is AFF.

West Ham beaten again tonight. That’s 10 without a win. Cannot see Nuno Espírito Santo lasting much longer.

Some game between Newcastle United and Leeds United. Leeds lead 0-1, 1-2 and 2-3 only to lose in 102nd minute 4-3.

Spurs manager Thomas Frank, getting it even more in the neck from Spurs fans, after being pictured, at last nights game at Brentford, drinking from a coffee cup with an Arsenal logo on it. 🤣

Shit like that is why I love fitba.

Decent first half in rain between Arsenal v Liverpool. Entertaining game for a 0-0.

Finished 0-0. Bad looking injury for Conor Bradley at the end. Lad has no luck with injuries.

I thought that game was absolutely horrendous last night.  Liverpool getting a lot of praise from Neville and Keane in the Sky Studio but my god, I was barely awake by the end.  If was basically 90 minutes of Van Dijk and Kerkez passing it back and forth between them.

If you are into stats, Liverpool had an XG of 0.36.  They made 509 passes and only 150 went forward.  Arsenal made 459 passes, 108 went forward.  That kind of stuff will get the game stopped.

Wenger's Arsenal team of Vieira, Pires, Henry and the like would have ran over any of those two teams last night.
