Summer 2026 Transfer Window

Firstly no intention to wind up Rico ( but it is a bonus) by starting this more than forty eight hours ahead of January window closing BUT as a squad we are all over the fucking place and even at this early stage I would imagine we all would have opinions on what need to happen over the summer.

Appreciate that certain things might be addressed in the remaining forty eight odd hours of the winter one BUT given our performance to date, coupled to us being manager less, I wouldn't stake any money on it

Thoughts lads and lassies

If we bought him, he publicly apologised, took out a two page spread in the P&J outlining all the different ways Huns are pricks, then did a penitent walk of shame from Union St to Pittodrie, I’d

Also, it's good that Besuijen's 10 year contract has finally come to an end.

Keskinen could be upgraded with a sheep dog.

Harsh - Sheep dogs are extremely intelligent...

Keskinen on his way to Denmark for a medical after bid from Odense has been accepted.

Goes with my bets wishes but not gutted to see him leave. He can play but his decision making is poor at best. We are defo needing some new wide players

I liked Keskinen, could never fault his work rate. Felt he had potential too if someone could just get a hold of him.

But Yogane and Bilalovic probably gonna be first choice on the left, and we know Keskinen does nothing on the right, so best to bank the money.

I’m sure I’ve seen him playing well on the right for Finland.

Another player failed by the club.

Not much of the cup winning squad left.

Don't think we ever really saw the best of Topi.

Have a feeling he will kick on away from us.

Not saying he'll be winning Champions Leagues or anything, but do think he'll have a decent career.

Yep this. I was told we’re making a decent profit so that’s some piece of business for a guy who just constantly flattered to deceive.

Saw a rumour Jack Milne has interest from the MLS. I can only assume they don’t head a ball in that league.

Money for Milne too. We couldn’t be that lucky could we…?

Milne will be a good player. It's not unusual for a defender of his age to go through a rough spell. He reminds me of Jack Hendry when he was at the Tims. Once he uses the physical attributes he was blessed with, he'll be fine. He's a good footballer who allowed his poor form to turn him into a jittery footballer (as Hendry did at that age). A move to the MLS will be good for him if it happens. I really hope he's not sitting on our bench next season anyway, he deserves better. There really is very little room for a young player to come through the youth setup and make mistakes while developing in our first team, which is a shame.

We seem to be nailing the buy in and sell on for a profit model. If we can just figure out how to get them to actually play football while they are here, we'll be unstoppable.

Admire your optimism, and I’d genuinely be delighted to be proved wrong - but he won’t…

Robinson said two wingers had left, is milanovic confirmed? He said he wanted 2 in, besides leavy, any others linked? Going with the theme of players who know our league, really like Congreve, he’s 22, surely by that age if Swansea want him he’d be a squad player for them? at the same time, he’s been in the Wales squad, maybe this is the year he breaks into their first team?

Ben broggio did ok at falkirk, like yogane young with an upside who has had success in our league? We have a connection with villa with fletcher boyd going to them, maybe a loan to buy for broggio?

Saying this, we do a good job of keeping players were after kept quiet. Hopefully one or two in this week.

If we can unload Lazetic, Milanovic and Palaversa (which you would think is probably about 10k at least in wages) and bring in two wide players of good quality I would say our squad is looking as well balanced as it has for a long time. Starting to feel quietly confident of a good season 🤞

Yep, I'm beginning to think we'll make it out of the group stages.

Blind optimism

I remember that when I was thirty years younger 🤣

Don't think Milanovic is confirmed, but sounds like it's all but. There's also a few rumours going round that we've signed Congreve on permanent, but i'll believe it when I see it.

Lewis Smith from Livingston looking like being next signing, £300k. Happy with that.

Don’t know much about him, stats seem good, was he actually good?

He had gone under my radar also but on doing a little digging he looks great. 26 is a great age to be getting him too

Looked a decent player for Livi, who weren't actually that bad a team, despite their struggles.

@RicoS321 I'm sure was talking him up last season. He's decent enough.

Yep, he looked decent anytime I saw him with Livi. Another who knows the league and won’t get bullied easy.

Quite happy with this one. Clear upgrade on Milanovic (not hard) & if we compare to Keskinen, £300k to replace a guy we got £1million plus for - and who I honestly think is actually an upgrade on him too - is pretty decent business…

100% this

And the good news keeps coming.

Lazetic now officially off to board Noah’s ark in Armenia.

Absolutely no loss. Terrible attitude & very little effort bar one cracking goal vs St Paisley.

Who’d have thought signing a guy with something like 2 goals in 40-50 games wouldn’t work out.

Undisclosed fee - whatever it is I’ll take it
