Firstly no intention to wind up Rico ( but it is a bonus) by starting this more than forty eight hours ahead of January window closing BUT as a squad we are all over the fucking place and even at this early stage I would imagine we all would have opinions on what need to happen over the summer.

Appreciate that certain things might be addressed in the remaining forty eight odd hours of the winter one BUT given our performance to date, coupled to us being manager less, I wouldn't stake any money on it

I saw Sheffield Wednesday are interested in re-signing Callum Paterson in the BBC Gossip page today, surprised he's only 31.

Seems like he's been in pretty good form last season for MK Dons, scored 16 goals (and almost in double figures for assists) and was nominated for League 2 player of the season.

Could be an option if we're looking for someone to fill the "big unit up front" role?

He's not that big though. A better player than Olusanya, but probably not as good as Nisbet. Also, he'd probably have a nervous breakdown when he turns up at Cormack park and sees Niall McGinn on the coaching staff.

Apparently he will be Registered as a Peterhead player - unlikely to play much- and be their first team coach 

I would love him at Pittodrie as a coach

Did I imagine him coaching for us last season? I could have sworn he was. Anyway, Peterhead is close enough for Paterson to feel the effect of his shoulder drop.

They'll be delighted I expect. Wages will be better at Pittodrie. I don't mind it to be honest. I don't think either is good enough yet, so another six months to see if they can do it at championship level (Bavidge didn't previously) and otherwise wish them all the best next year. With the change of manager and other happenings at the club, it's not a bad idea to retain them just in case we are missing something.

Always wary of getting carried away with these highlight reels which are invariably put out there by agents BUT this guy looks like an upgrade on Yengi, Ambrose & Lazetic 😉

Main thing I take from that is it looks like Moroccan teams play in empty athletics stadiums!

They fairly peter out after the first three minutes. Not sure those are highlights, rather times he touched the ball, or nearly touched the ball.

He might be near seventy, but if he has kept himself fit, I would take the Spanish lad Victor that rocked up at St Mirren in the early 90's
