BigAl Posted Monday at 19:48 Report Posted Monday at 19:48 The guts of £1.2 million spent on this three Any one actually seen them Why oh why have we spunked this level of cash on players never to be seen ? Quote
wee toon red Posted Monday at 21:37 Report Posted Monday at 21:37 20, 19 and 19. Players signed for the future, presumably by "the board" rather than the manager, who sees them in training every day and must feel they're not ready for the first team yet. They've plenty time to come good and prove themselves. Better to let them cool their heels than throw them into a struggling team. Quote

Not advocating that all three of them should be put straight into the first team but you would expect an odd sub appearance or the like. Think Bilalovic got on against The Arabs a few weeks back and never seen again, despite actually looking half decent. Frame is supposed to be a left back/left wing back but despite our issues in this position he has still to be seen. Kjaratansson I thought was supposed to be first team ready. Hear fit you're saying about age but not sure spending £1.2m on three young players we don't play strikes me as the best use of limited funds. All about opinions I guess Quote
RicoS321 Posted Monday at 22:42 Report Posted Monday at 22:42 Who says our funds are limited.... Frame was a strange one. Playing in the lowland league, he was never going to step into our team. I'm assuming Bilalovic is injured? He looked like he might have something about him, but perhaps suspect positionally. Thought we might have seen something more of him when chasing games. He didn't look any worse than Milanovic. I'd have thought all three could have been out on loan to the championship at least. Quote
Jute2 Posted Monday at 23:53 Report Posted Monday at 23:53 Mate who watches Linlithgow was very surprised we signed Frame as had struggled when they played Celtic B and not one that stood out as being someone ready to step up a level. His development at us probably not helped by him not being able to play KDM games as cup tied. Kjaratansson looked decent in preseason if a little rough around the edges so had thought we would have seen more of him by now. Bilalovic hasn’t even been playing development team games so assuming he is injured. Quote
BigAl Posted yesterday at 08:21 Author Report Posted yesterday at 08:21 Hi Scott Burns Looks like you've been reading this one. Quote
redordead Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago (edited) I thought bilalovic done well in the little game time he had. If fit he's a better option than milanovic. Has pace and power. Only seen kjartanson briefly but he is a presence and ball winner. Exactly what we need in the team. That said he didn't have many passes to make and maybe this is what's missing. Surprised he hasn't been thrown in but I think that is more about Jimmy trying to keep all the senior players in the squad happy. Edited 22 hours ago by redordead Quote
