manc_don Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 Early evening kick off for this one. Not sure what else to say, other than, please fucking score a goal. We need some sort of pressure valve released. It’s only going one direction at the moment and if the Arab game is any reflection, the toxicity is starting to ramp up. not sure what he changes as whatever combo at the moment doesn’t work. I still think he needs to radically change the system and play the wingers on their correct sides. out bed undecided Sunday stuff 2-0, no dons scorer Quote
Panda Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 Almost same team that finished the United game, with a few changes. If Clarkson fit, him in for Nilsen, simply because he's a better player. If not, I would give the nod to Palaversa, more just because I don't think Nilsen's histrionics are helpful. Karlsson central (where he looked okay at Tannadice), another chance for Milanovic, Lazetic (if fit) to see if he can be more involved than Nisbet. The good news is there are options here for Thelin and so many other things to try before we give up. 2 Quote
Reekie_Red Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 I am still holding out for a turnaround game. And who's to say this isn't Motherwell 5-7 Dons Quote
Panda Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 Thought Thelin came across quite passionate in this, at least by his standards. For the first time I think we just began to see a bit of frustration and an insight into what he's been trying to tell the players. Quote

redordead Posted Saturday at 12:51 Report Posted Saturday at 12:51 Was going to go today but was down south this week and didn't sort tickets. I have no idea why you can't but tickets online and get a QR code. I do it with stenny away all the time using fanbase. I'll be at broadwood instead this afternoon, could've done both with later KO Quote
OxfordDon Posted Saturday at 13:09 Report Posted Saturday at 13:09 Imagine if a month ago someone had told you the only thing stopping Sevco being bottom of the league was us. Must win game. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Saturday at 16:12 Report Posted Saturday at 16:12 Back 3 or 5, plus multiple personnel changes. Too much change. Hope I’m wrong but I don’t think that helps us. Not sure how we line up, karlsson up top w nisbet? 1-1 nisbet. 1 Quote
Slim Posted Saturday at 16:14 Report Posted Saturday at 16:14 I think we’ll see the back 3 in a few of the European games so makes sense to give it a try here. Quote

Totally agree, but every game is change, and here we go again. Perhaps we find something that works but consistent personnel and players breeds consistent play and we don’t do any of this. Saying that, I think shinnie and palaversa may be our best two in there. changing prediction, 3-0 us. Nisbet aouchiche and karlsson. Quote

RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 16:53 Report Posted Saturday at 16:53 Looks like a 5-2-3, or 3-4-3. Interesting. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Saturday at 17:34 Report Posted Saturday at 17:34 Not a bad half from what I have seen. Not great but we are not confident or on form, but we are creating. Def think we are better with devlin, getting some width from the full backs. Quote
redordead Posted Saturday at 17:53 Report Posted Saturday at 17:53 (edited) Aye, decent half. Seem a lot more direct. Thought gyamfi was a bit out but otherwise team looking ok Edited Saturday at 17:59 by redordead Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 18:04 Report Posted Saturday at 18:04 Interesting changes. Devlin into centre back? Probably fine. I'd have Aouchiche off. Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 18:09 Report Posted Saturday at 18:09 Dorrington terrible on the left, every touch is to get it on his right, and his body shape all wrong. Given the circumstances, I'm not blaming Thelin for playing him there, just making the point. Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 18:24 Report Posted Saturday at 18:24 Lazetic on now, and still Aouchiche is on, despite missing a really good chance and giving away one at the other end. Bilalovic can't be trusted it seems. Quote
