BigAl Posted Thursday at 18:37 Author Report Posted Thursday at 18:37 We have a rumour, apologies for the source, to save you clicking on link to The Retard it is 18 year old highly rated Swedish winger Elias Pihistrom. Apparently in competition with two others to get him and likely substantial fee involved. Got to think IF we are genuinely interested and IF we get him then one of our wingers is offski. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/elias-pihlstrom-aberdeen-transfer-target-35459086 Quote

We have three, topi, Morris who it hit/miss and a guy to come off the bench, and an Aussie who can also play centrally and up top, but we’ve no clue if he’s a stud or another mcgarry. I’d say we need one more. Vinny is leaving. Gueye isn’t a wide player. Am I missing anyone?? Quote

Probably don't disagree with you about Emslie but he is still an Aberdeen player and plays on the wing. Regarding Duncan, what do you think as an alternative position, kit man Quote

Regarding Duncan, what do you think as an alternative position, kit man I don’t think Duncan had the explosive pace to play winger. I actually wondered if he’s a leftie, could he be left back? Ultimately I don’t think either are good enough or ready for extended minutes, hence the potential signing. Quote
tlg1903 Posted Thursday at 23:12 Report Posted Thursday at 23:12 He looks more than a little bit handy 2bf. He also looks quite happy playing on either side too which is quite rare. Could be he's one of those players you can play anywhere across the front line. If someone is going out I suppose it's also not impossible it's Keskinen after his euro U21 showing. Duncan is no winger imo, I would say he's an inside forward. He's not a get to the byline and cross it in kinda player but he's not awful on the ball and has a ping on him. Stick him on the right and have him cut in on his left with the rb overlapping and he could be effective for a team..... I don't think that team is going to be us unless he we have some sort of injury crisis. Quote
wokinginashearerwonderland Posted Saturday at 16:34 Report Posted Saturday at 16:34 Yay Was that taken just before he asked to be subbed out of training? Quote

Cormack stating Keskinen not going anywhere this summer (as always, apologies for source): https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/topi-keskinen-aberdeen-transfer-fate-35468390 Quote Speaking to Red TV, he said: "People want to come to Aberdeen now because they know they will get an opportunity to move onto a bigger club. We won't hold them back, within reason. "We demonstrated that with Bojan, Ross McCrorie, Lewis (Ferguson) and others. And Topi will be another one if he continues at this level. "But there is no way we are letting Topi go at this stage because he is a key player for us. Unless someone comes in and offers us £20million tomorrow!" Edited Sunday at 09:32 by OxfordDon 1 Quote

OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 11:05 Report Posted Sunday at 11:05 If the offer is good enough any of our players would be sold. Rama lasted one season, that’s the nature of the trading model. if we get a £20 offer tomorrow Ambrose would be heading to the airport. 1 Quote

BigAl Posted Sunday at 19:55 Author Report Posted Sunday at 19:55 Millwall have today signed a new number nine for £5m Wonder where that leaves Nisbet getting a clean slate under Alex Neil Quote
Panda Posted Sunday at 23:22 Report Posted Sunday at 23:22 I don't watch English football so excuse my ignorance, and perhaps this guy is the next English superstar, but how the hell does a striker score just six goals in the Championship and then command a £5m transfer fee? I'm sure he has other facets to his game other than just scoring goals, but that seems about £2.5m overpriced even by the overinflated English transfer standards. What it does do, is make you think Millwall likely will expect a sizeable transfer fee for Nisbet after 14 goals and a Scotland call-up last season. Maybe not quite £5m (he's six years older) but be very surprised if he's leaving Millwall for any less than £1m unless it has significant add ons. And for a club of Aberdeen's budget that would be an enormous risk on a guy whose goal scoring record wasn't that good (better than six though) and who has little sell-on value. Quote
tlg1903 Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Where the fuck did Millwall pull 5 million from? If memory serves Nisbet was their record signing prior to this. Regardless my feeling was that we weren't going back in for any player we had on loan last season. Quote
