Just thought I'd join to give a bit of an opinion on Aouchiche.  Technically he's a really good footballer. Due to injuries he spent a lot of his time with us out on the left wing, which probably

  • Four years Second Aberdeen player called Emmanuel in as many days to get that 😉

Oh, can't we just mate.....  and I must confess I totally am. I do wonder what it would take to get him.  I mean, if fergie goes to Napoli for big money would the board consider just offering that 15% sell on to Girona (3.75 mill give or take)? I would normally wince at the dons paying that much for a player but we know he would be worth it.  He would need to be prepared to sign a five year deal with no release clause but he was very happy here.....

I honestly think I would cry with happiness if we got Bojan back.

Like your thinking but guess even if Cormack signed off on that that the wages would present a whole other challenge unfortunately 🤔

Yeah, realistically he's probably out of our reach now but I'll maintain hope until he signs with someone else.

Miovski isn't worth (to us) the money it would take to get him, let alone what he'd be looking for in wages. Even at a modest £10k per week you'd be looking at money that could and should be used to strengthen the entire squad rather than spent on one player. Fair enough if a no9 was the only missing link between us and winning the league but that's hardly the case.

I've said it before but finding the next Miovski is the job, not bringing the old one back. Sorry to be the boring realis🤣

Your logic is, of course, incredibly sound.  I still would snap your hand of to see him in red again though.

Agreed. Not just all that though, our model is based on selling players, and Miovski would hopefully have been a great advert of what we can produce. I think Girona could be making a mistake by getting rid of him, and hopefully another club of similar stature take a punt and get the best out of him. It's quite like the Ramsay situation for me. Both players were the pinnacle of their respective departments, and they've both gone on to fail (so far, plenty of time for both). We've obviously had Ferguson as a success, McKenna, Ramadani and so on, but it'd be worth a lot, in terms of reputation, to be churning out these success stories with regularity. A successful Miovski would allow us to demand the same or more for signings in future. I don't doubt that Miovski's high fee was influenced by the success of Ferguson and Ramadani for example.

With European football and squad depth/rotation an obvious factor, that makes dorrington okkels Mackenzie dabbagh McGrath doohan and mcgarry gone so far. 7 out and 4 in.

Jensen ruby vinnie Duncan and I’ll add ambrose are questionable. Sokler??? What we thinking, at least 4-5 more in?

would love to see a legit center mid. I doubt we’ll see shinnie and sivert together in center mid, we really could do with a Ferguson type, or a legit number 10.

Agree re miovski, think we’d see borat at pittodrie before bojan again. A 9 and center mid for me have to be certain starters.

Is Vinnie the only player left from the McInnes era? Was McInnes still here when he signed? Obviously, discounting Shinnie, who was then wasn't here, and is again. We've got zero long term players once Shinnie returns.

He was a Glass/Robson era signing wasn't he? Seem to remember him being brought in as a replacement for Ryan Hedges and the result being assists for Ramirez completely drying up and Ramirez being accused of downing tools because his close friend Glass (who he hadn't met until 6 months prior) got sacked.

I could look on the internet, but I refuse. I thought he was a January signing of McInnes' last season. Maybe on a pre-contract, or was he injured or something and didn't actually play under McInnes? I thought Hedges left under McInnes too, so I'm probably just a year out on all of it.

Hmm 🤔

No chance of Nisbet joining the diets.

Absolutely hates them

Click bait journalism from the Retard IMHO

Not a single word regarding interest in Nisbet attributed to anyone at Tynecastle

Assume it’s just an agent trying to get interest, but I’d be pretty meh if it happened anyway. He was pretty decent with us but also pretty shit for many games. Think we can unearth better. If it was bojan to the Huns or tims I’d be crushed, this one doesn’t phase me.

Pretty sure there would have been "Miovski to..." stories lined up in case we had drawn Celtic or Sevco as our opening game rather than Hearts.  A Hearts-Hibs derby on the first day would be "Hibs considering Shankland", and so on...

Bait and click.

Bait and click.

If that was the case, surely they could have added a bit about us being in for shankland too?

True, opportunity missed.  Or they could've had us down for a shock reunion with an unsettled McInnes to replace [insert English Championship club]-bound Thelin.  Clearly not trying.

Midfielder and striker arriving before Portugal hopefully.

New home strip coming Wednesday.

Assuming that is just next two that will be arriving and we will still have more players in before start of the season.

Well there's also a Finnish defender and a Montenegro international potentially joining the trip to Portugal too... 👀

Like a couple of new signings.

That would be a tidy 850k in the hipper if it's true and happens.

Ten million euros. They’re having a laugh, is that all?

Worth at least treble that.

….Somebody made an arse of that sell on clause.

Seems a bit of a steal. Better player than going to that level but suspect wages will be huge.

Report I saw said he had allegedly been offered 1.2 million Euros per annum which roughly equates to £20k per week

And it would be tax free as well

Would like to think we are watching Dylan Watret at Ayr United. I've seen him twice last season @ Somerset Park.

Eighteen year old with a full season in the Championship and also Scotland U19 caps.

Predominantly plays at right back but can operate in midfield also.

Potentially initially as a squad player but meets the home grown criteria for the European squad and looks like one for the future.

Would require a fee however as under contract until the summer of 2028.

We have a rumour, apologies for the source, to save you clicking on link to The Retard it is 18 year old highly rated Swedish winger Elias Pihistrom.

Apparently in competition with two others to get him and likely substantial fee involved.

Got to think IF we are genuinely interested and IF we get him then one of our wingers is offski.
