Panda Posted Friday at 12:34 Report Posted Friday at 12:34 ***Spoiler alert @RicoS321 *** Don't read further if you want what foot Milanovic likes to use to be a surprise. Milanovic is left footed, but has been used predominantly as a right winger, which suits Thelin's style I'd say as he likes that sort of inverted winger/inside forward thing. He can also play as a left winger and as a number 10. Difficult to see how anyone copes with our frontline next season to be honest. Big job for Mourinho in his Premiership managerial debut at Pittodrie. 1 Quote

Can anyone tell which foot Dabbagh prefers? I still can't. Hopefully we've used the data gathered on McGarry to feed back into our system to get an idea on how good this guy could be. Should be infallible. Like when we fed the data from Miovski and Ramadani back in and out popped Ambrose. Pretty sure the program had a virus when it shot out Ambrose. 1 Quote
wee toon red Posted Friday at 13:43 Report Posted Friday at 13:43 Is this a sign that we might not be keeping Okkels? Quote

wokinginashearerwonderland Posted Friday at 16:27 Report Posted Friday at 16:27 I know we got a lot of dough in for Miovski and the rest but my god, we are fairly splashing it out on dodgy punts. If you believe the transfer market website, that's in excess of about £4M spent in the last couple of seasons. Lucky if you would be able to sell our entire squad for £400. We are like a littler version of Spurs when they got £85M for Bale. Quote

I think we keep Morris and topi, vinnie, gueye, and okkels can move on. Morris and topi are young and growing, far from the finished product. Not having a dig at Connor, but anyone whom is not clearly better than Connor mclennan should not be here. We realized that standard for not being good enough and have replaced with mediocre. Add this guy is great, need one more legit winger after that (provided we punt the other 3.) Quote

Jute Posted Saturday at 06:37 Report Posted Saturday at 06:37 As Manc seems to be struggling with when players contracts are due to expire thought I would stick this in here again. 2 Quote

redordead Posted Saturday at 08:03 Report Posted Saturday at 08:03 (edited) Good to see that Jimmy has spotted a weakness. Shady is it only winger creating at present. I find topi a really frustrating watch. Hopefully after a preseason he'll kick on as many do after a time to settle in. The way we play it is essential that the wings carry a threat. I think okkels will go. I don't think he's been terrible ( of late (but he's no better than Vinnie and would cost a hefty fee. If love to see us find a real #10 now Edited Saturday at 08:04 by redordead Quote

I find that if Morris is up against a pacy full back he can’t easily get the better of at the first time of trying, he’ll retreat into his shell and not bother trying unless he gets a head start. Keskinen never seems to let failure bother him. If it doesn’t work first time, he’ll keep going at it. End product isn’t always there, but he’s still usually the player on the pitch most likely to produce something from nothing. If he can find consistency in his output, he’ll be a multi-million pound player. 4 Quote

He had no clue when to pass dribble or shoot when he first went to man utd. Hopefully topi’s brain develops and we see end product because he works hard and sees plenty of the ball. Quote
wee toon red Posted Saturday at 16:10 Report Posted Saturday at 16:10 With the Aussie boy coming in to hopefully replace morris, who despite having his moments really isn’t good enough over the course of the season, we really need to fill the front two positions. Nisbet would be great and we really need to replace Gueye, who I see in a similar light to Morris. Decent squad players but not starters to get us to where we want to be. Other than that we’ve the makings of a really decent side. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted Sunday at 03:21 Report Posted Sunday at 03:21 What I've seen of him, Milanovic is a decent winger, scores some very tidy goals. WSW fans seem to think he's too good for Aberdeen, lol Quote

OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 11:41 Report Posted Sunday at 11:41 Is it manc that lives down there? How does this guy and his reputation compare to the winger from last summer, and the reputation mcgarry had?? Quote

Sait before re Keskinen, the talent is there he just needs to work on his decsion making but I do think he's making progress. Thought he had a really good game yesterday from that POV Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 16:26 Report Posted Sunday at 16:26 We need a number 10, how about David Turnbull at Cardiff. Just been relegated to league one, cost them around 2 million, will they be cost cutting? Loan to buy or buy outright?? Would be a million plus but we were considering a million for okkels. Good player, needed position, and Scottish! Not sure he’d be ready to come back north but you never know. Quote
