  1. We were always going to slip up at some stage, but still penty of time to turn things around tonight. I have been more impressed by the way we can fight back into contention after going behind this season than previous seasons and suspect Hamilton will not hold us out for the second half....
  2. DOesn't surprise me in our game, that game shouldn't have went ahead. Stevenson comes from Ayr, supports Ayr and used to play for them and he is the goalie for Raith in a relegation battle against Ayr, mental. Does anyone know if this has scenario has ever happened before?
  3. Accies can be a real pain the arse of us, but at least we are showing a lot of fight to get the equaliser. COYR
  4. I just watched that and whilst it was very funny, you seriously have to worry about the mental health of the guy.
  5. He may not be playing at his best, but he still knows how to get a goal, I thought he had a decent game yesterday
  6. Pitch Black - A book about black footballers in the UK. Pretty harrowing stuff reading about black players breaking through during the 70s and 80s and their experiences in the game, from their own supporters, team mates and opposition supporters and lets not forget the police and politicians. Thankfully, although far from perfect, things have moved on a lot since then.
  7. I enjoyed that game, we started off far the better team and were passing it around well, Country got themselves back into it, with a lot of help from Scotlands best ref, but right on half time Rooney missed the kind of chance he would normally smack in the back on the net blindfolded and felt like it was going to be one of them days. Second half I would say County started off better than us and had a couple of decent chances which Lewis saved well fromand then came another inspired substitiution from Deek in the form of Miles Storey, who started to stretch play out wide in the final third which pulled the County players out wide which seemed to work and not long afterwards we scored, Rooney making amends for his first half miss, then we shut up shop by putting on O'Connor and County were still pushing for that equaliser, but fortunately never got it. We had a few chances ourselves, but glad we came away with another 3 points and yet another substitution turning the game in our favour, although he didn't get the goal. I thought Hayes and McGinn didn't have the best of games today, Joe did well when called upon in goal, as we have come to expect. McLean had another good game and so did Jack. I thought Ash did well in defence also. Dougie Bell did the half time draw, not often we see ex players do this nowadays. Collum is just the worst ref in our game and made some strange decisions today, which I suppose we should expect. By the way, does anyone know what has happened to the guys that sell the badges and scarves outside Pittodrie have disappeared too? Haven't been there for week and my son has been missing getting his badges. We have now pulled 9 points clear of the zombies and Hearts and Saints dropping points too made today a sweet victory.
  8. I was speaking to an Arab supporter at work yesterday about teams he would like in the play offs and he said Caley, to which I replied I fancy them to pull clear with McKay with them. He replied McKay is shite and won't score goals. I am surrounded by the chunts where I work, Rangers fans and I mean proper knuckle dragging Rangers fans, who all hate Aberdeen, city and football club, but for some reason are happy to work up here, who would ever thought Rangers fans of having double standards. I hate my work with a passion, but it does have its plus points!
  9. Looking forward to tomorrows game, think it will be a battle and hopefully have enough about us to gsain the 3 points. In Merkie Home 1-0 - An Ash Taylor header from a corner in the 87th minute. Hopefully we will see a good crowd tomorrow, but not going to hold my breath
  10. I don't think we were poor, not brilliant, but certainly not poor. We were never, ever going to repeat the performance against Motherwell on Wednesday and KIllie are in a decent run of form and with a new (scumbag) manager in the hotseat, so this had the potential to be a horrible day and it looked that way until late into the game, but we have a new found resilience about us and DM is making game changing substitutions which was something he has never really managed to due during his tenure until fairly recently and has been great to see. It would have been hard on us to leave without at least a point, but to get the three was very, very sweet considering who their manager is and by the way, what the fuck was the inbred chunt doing wearing gloves on the touchline? Real hardman stuff. There are so many positives to take from our performances at the moment and it is a good time to be a red.
  11. Lee 'Elbows' McCulloch is their interim manager and I do not want to lose to that rancid lot with that manky, classless bastard in charge. COYR
  12. I dinna watch much TV either, I prefer reading or watching auld stuff on DVD, also partial to foreign films. Anyway, Secret Army is one of my favourite series of all time, brilliant stuff from start to finish. I've never seen Colditz though.
  13. Just some random thoughts after watching the highlights... Did anyone get a close look at the incident leading up to COnsidine getting booked? Looked like a foul from a Motherwell player and Consi got booked. Christies goal looked ace from the Merkie last night and after watching it on TV it was even better. Fuck McGhee, last night was all about us and not his ego. Joe Lewis wasn't to pleased withhimself losing the two goals last night, you could see he is a cut above the usual dross we have had between the sticks over the past 15-20 years
  14. I worked with aguy who played at Morton with Deek as a young loon and he claimed Deek was a Ton fan as a loon. I was told this years before he came to us as manager.
  15. WHat a game we had. Makes up for a lot of the shyte we have endured this season and many others, with a performance like that. Just a sweet, sweet game to be at. Probably the best performance we have given under McInnes, we were superb and only spoiled by letting in two poor goals, but hey ho, we probably should have got 9 to be fair. Motherwell were terrible, but don't let that take anything away from us as we were superb. and have a feeling McGhee will be away soon, Karma!
  16. The Bayern game in 08, was a cracking game, my eldest was then 12 and had never experienced nothing like it and asked why it wasn't like that every game I mind the kids got these things at the game which made a noise and a wifie in front complained to the police. I think it was on this day back in 2006, we beat the huns 2-0. A very cold night with snow falling The Greek defender they used to have had one of the worst games I have ever seen at Pittodrie, he was hopeless and boy did we let him know it. I also mind a hun scumbag headbutted a guy going home from his work on Market Street and around 12 plods across the road never saw a thing and would have done nothing until the minky hun chunt started we somebody else about a minute later but got a swift kicking, but he still managed to escape Aberdeens finest.
  17. Great news, I think Andy is a consistent performer for us no matter where he is asked to play and is one of us. Hopefully Taylor and Niall will follow soon...
  18. I think he is a class act and will be very surprised if no bids for him in the summer.
  19. I'd prefer a better standard of referee and more done about poor performances from them. If refs know they can be dropped for making huge screw ups, like the Celtic pen last week, I am sure their eyesight would improve dramatically. Not a fan of sin bins, it would just be another stride towards the Americanisation of the game.
  20. It would endear him more to the troglodyte, knuckle scraping cunts if he did.
  21. Didn't sound the best of games, but I think we deserved it. Well done to the 2800 dandies who made the trek up to Dingwall in what is a horrible cold day, makes you proud to be a red when you hear we had 1000 more fans than the home team. Hopefully get a favourable home draw in the next round.
  22. Aye, my thoughts exactly. Rather pointless exercise really.
  23. If he has gone they will undoubtedly make a move for McInnes. Be a good test of his character to see how much he really does like us. I would really, really hate for him to go to THEM and would think a lot less of him if he decided o leave a reasonably well run club at Aberdeen to join the a disgusting organisation such as the zombies and all they stand for. Move on and progress is one thing, but to join THEM is not progress in my eyes. Even if they don't want McInnes I am sure they will try and unsettle by making a move or getting their pals in the press to stir things up. I await to hear a Chick Dung exclusive tomorrow on th radio.
  24. Not a celeb really, but the comedy writer Alan Simpson, of the Galton and Simpson writing team behind Hancock and Steptoe, amongst other stuff, died today aged 87. I am a big fan of their work and thought he deserved a mention. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36249956
