  1. We can beat them I am sure of that, but only if we play our game which means we have to attack them and we are capable of that. We also need to sort out the backline in the last 5 games, get god in to hammer into them how to clear their lines. I don't want us going down just to make up the numbers we are better than that.
  2. Well that's just back after leaving Aberdeen at 6:30 this morning to drive to Glasgow for the first time ever, everything was going so well until we got to Glasgow and that fucking SatNav shyte can go thrown itself aff Torry bridge, took us to fucking Ibrox!!!!!! My 10 year old says at this point, you get the Petrol Dad and I'll get the matches! His Ma was raging at that and guess who got the blame? Anyhoo, we made the game in plenty of time and got the car parked at a Subway station and walked up to Hampden, fuck there is are some real poor folk doon their, I'm nae over familiar with the place as tend to avoid it, but got my eyes opened to it today with a good walk around the place. Anyway what a way to start a match, one nil up in less than a minute and 2 up a short while after, but to be fair to Lennon he made a good decision in putting on Holt and got rewarded straight away and you could see the nerves hit us, especially in defence, he really needs to sort it out in the summer as we are rank at the back, bar big Joe, who is a class act. We go in at half time still in front though and you think we will come out fighting in the second half, but obviously we started how we left off the first half and Hibs we still coming at us and no real surprise when they equalised and my bowels were in bits and I have to admit fearing the worst at this point, but who better than Jonny Hayes to pop up late in the game and score us the winner and what a bounce when that went in, makes you forget (almost) about all the other shit which happened in the game. Plenty of negatives to take from the game, but we are in the final and that's all that matters, we know what the problems are and they can be discussed at a later date. I enjoyed that today, a good game and must have been great viewing for neutrals, but just feels great to have a Scottish Cup final to look forward too. COYR Oh aye, the ref (beaton) is a clown and what is the point of having the two additional clowns behind the goal, they offer nothing.
  3. They will be looking for an increased majority and the next few weeks will see a campaign of fear really ramped up by them to ensure they get it. I am not sure as to how Scotland will vote. I am sure SNP will not repeat their success of 2015 and worried folk will vote for the tories as an alternative. What a mess.
  4. Is it just me who gets a little worried when Trump refers to the American military as 'his'.
  5. I would. Even Malaga hasn't said no outright, she must have something about her as he is the resident Simon Cowell* of the WYOWYN threads. * For the aulder guys on here Simon Cowell is like a modern day Hughie Green
  6. An important win for us today. struggled a bit in the second half, but we held on and didn't capitulate like last weekend and got the 3 points which was all that mattered. For me we seem to have a real issue keeping the ball in the opposition half at times, just doesn't stick up with Rooney, not his game to be fair, but I do think a lack of pace up front at times costs us. When we play like we did in the first half we are superb, but when we start to get marked more tightly and McGinn and Hayes get stopped from playing their game (I know McGinn didn't play today) it just seems we lose the ball quickly and puts pressure on our back line and if they do clear it, you know it is going to come back at us again fairly quickly as Rooney cannot hold up the ball well. St Johnstone did this well against us today in the second half. Steven McLean is a classless bastard though. Bring on the Hibs, I have a feeling it is going to be a great game next Saturday. Two decent attacking teams who can't defend when under pressure, but however bad folk think Taylor is, he is still miles better than Ambrose.
  7. I see the HIVs won the title today. Claimed they have sold 8000 season tickets for next season, before today, that is fairly impressive. Be interesting to see how popcorn teeth gets on with the big boys next year, be funny as fuck if they struggled Elsewhere, Utd drew with Ayr and Dave Badcock scored a hat trick for Clyde, worth a look!
  8. Is McGinn injured? Seems weird he isn't in the squad. Good to see us get the lead though and 79% possession. we are a good team, but decent and we will nail second place. The guy Dodo fae the scum should have done Deeks team talk for him.
  9. We might be bottlers, but Hibs are cut from the same cloth when it comes to bottling big games. Two teams who can attack well and not defend worth a shite, should be a good game.

    Films

I Daniel Blake was watched tonight. Loach at his finest, a stunning film. The sad part of it all is that Tories will watch it with a sense of pride thay their policies are working.
  11. I just watched the lowlights of the game yesterday as I wanted to remind myself of the build up to the goals we lost and boy it's not pretty. Can Ash Taylor actually hit a ball straight, he always seems to curve his passes, its like he has banana feet, there was one he made in the first half, where he passed the ball and it curved and it went straight to a hun and Taylor put in a bad tackle to win it back getting himself a booking, terrible goals to lose. Overall I still think we have made great strides this season, but some major work is going to be required in the summer to keep us up where we are as we need to sort out central defence and need an alternative to Rooney up front. What stuck in my throat yesterday was Kenny Miller getting two goals. The guy is 37 years old and looked more mobile and willing than Rooney. We need a few more players with the desire and passion of Shinnie if we really want to compete in the bigger games, the guy is a class act, but finding more like him wont be easy.
  12. I think we know Deek doesn't really have a plan b, but was surprised we didn't see Christie or Pawlett on the park before the goals as neither McLEan, McGinn or Hayes were having great games, I think more so as to how they were being fouled so much and sometimes just a fresh player in the middle of the park offers that missing spark, but the goals were so quick the damage was done and it was all over for us.
  13. Nae quite sure how we managed to lose 3-0 to them, but somehow we did. After starting off quite brightly we appeared to sit in and catch them on the break, if so that is so wrong, just play how we play best and let them worry about us. I don't think we played badly, but it was a niggly game with lots of stoppages which affected our fluency and Rangers players being taken out at random by the sniper on top of the south stand roof everytime an Aberdeen player went near them, I really hate that sort of shyte. I knew the run would come to an end, but what a very Aberdeen way to do it. I know it was a sore one but I was still disappointed to see the fans leave on the third goal, its not like we were doing too badly up until this afternoon, but I suppose thats fairweather fans for you and as for the muppet who threw the flare on to the pitch, nae doubt the daily hun will be frothing at the lips with that one, but will probably forget to mention the item being thrown at McGinn when he took the corner. What a really shit way to round of a weekend. Top don today was Shinnie by a mile, a couple of more like him in our team and we would be untouchable. We just have to move on and forget about it and hope that next season we can get another striker in who gives us something different up front and a centre back with the quality, attitude and determination of Shinnie wherever he plays.
  14. I'm worried about the refereeing in todays game. I am sure the relevant authorities will have had a word to ensure something goes their way today. I hate them so much. COYR
  15. Good to see Plastic Whistle make the top 6 as always had a soft spot for them. Think it could possibly be the end of the road for Archibald with them though, don't think he can go much further with them and their limited budget.
  16. In Merkie Hame Hame - After a little trip to the park with the loon after 2-1 - Going to be a tight game, these new clubs always seem to raise their game against us big boys. Please Deek, dinna show the minky bastards any respect and let us play to what we are capable of.
  17. I'm not just back, but was at the game and enjoyed it. We played some good stuff, but just couldn't get that elusive 2nd goal and I thought Caley were going to sneak on at the end, but we held on thankfully. Have to say I thought Super Kev was superb for Caley, his first game of the season I am led to believe and he was by far their best player, somone told me it is ten years this year since he left us, made me feel old. Caley may be bottom, but they are not the worst team I have seen this season and would say Foran still has the players onside, they do lack a bit of quality though, but with Super Kev fit they may have a chance of staying up Good to see the winning run continue, but fuck me some of the folk around me in the Merkie need a reality check with some of the shite they were spouting when Caley were having a go at us in the second half. You would think we were the ones bottom of the table and getting beat, mental. The miss from Storey looked bad from the Merkie and was even worse when watched on the highlights. No need for me to have a go at him as I am sure he felt bad enough about it himself. Bring on the vermin.
  18. I thought the loon did very well. How did it all come about?
  19. In Merkie Hame for supper Hame for bed 2-1 The dandies, a hard fought win, like always against the Heeland Hammer throwers. A Rooney double
  20. A proud Torry loon for 38 years, but bide in Northfield now.
  21. A fine (Cartoon) woman is Mrs RUbble. Wee Barney must be packing a stroop like a tin o Vim to keep her sweet.
  22. Dundee Utd, the gift that keeps on giving. It would be so funny if the missed the play off spots AND went into administration, lots of rumours going around about that. Also just been hearing about the Hamilton v St Johnstone match and the repulsive Foster in the thick of fighting with his teammate. There is something seriously wrong with that guy, even the huns didn't like him.
  23. If you watch the highlights you can see her when the camera cuts to her after we score our first. Ash has a stunning wife, but the new Hun manager certainly has a cracker too.
