  1. A big yes from me. She hasn't changed much over the years.
  2. Wow, I didn't see a Trump win coming at all. The thing is he is not a politician, so all the hot air he waffled during his campaing will be exactly that, stuff like building a wall on the Mexican border and other such shite will never happen. I think he will find being president extemely frustrating and will not be able to do a fraction ofwhat he wants, but I just hope that whatever he does, isn't copied verbatim by May over here, which is exactly what happened back in the 80s with Ronnie and the wicked witch. I can see him quitting early doors due to something in his past coming back to haunt him or I see him following in the footsteps of JFK.
  3. I'll have a go, nae a bonnie lassie though.
  4. I wouldn't let McGinn anywhere near the pitch on final day. Too much of a passenger when we play his heroes, bad enough when he choses not to turn up for lesser games, even more frustrating when he does it against his idols. SHame really as an excellent player on his day.
  5. No, no and no again, just to be sure. I really don't like the lassie.
  6. To big a risk to try him in midfield now since he has been superb at the back for us. No matter what position he has been a very good signing.
  7. I would have to say no to that. I'm nae a fussy loon, but even I have some standards.
  8. I think even the usually hard to please MalagaSheep would have a shot of her.
  9. There were lots and lots of stunners amongst them, with my favourites being Rachel Garley and Kirsten Imrie, a bonnie Scottish lass. Kathy Lloyd and Linda Lusardi were another couple of stunners I liked. Was never too keen on Sam Fox. I cannot remember if Page 3 or not, but a lassie fae Torry used to do a bit of modelling for the sun. She used to sunbathe in her garden in the summer and my cousins bedroom used to look over her garden, not that we ever looked!
  10. A tough game tomorrow night and we will have to work hard to avoid 3 defeats in a row. Hopefully we will start with a striker up front. I like Partick, a good we well run club who detest the OF as much as we do, if not more. I think their manager has worked wonders with them and always surprised nobody has went sniffing around him when bigger jobs pop up.
  11. It was difficult making the choices, but god should be top of everyone's list, IMO, as we will never see anything like him again. A total one off, who took his responsibility greatly and represented the fans on the pitch. Jess, I don't think I will ever see a player who excited the fans so much and came through the ranks, he really was top class. Below this was difficult and so many to choose from and a shame to leave so many off the list. As someone already posted, folks like my eldest had to endure Pittodrie during the very, very bad years and didn't really have any players to look up too, I always found that a shame.
  12. Watching your kids get older is horrible, great from their point of view, but my youngest has started to drop my hand if he is walking along the streets and sees his pals, so not long now until taking my hand will stop altogether. It is nice seeing them grow up and become adults, but nothing ever beats them being young and innocent and relying on their mum and dads for everything.
  13. Well said that man! I'd happily go back to being 21 again.
  14. Ice cream vans - They still exist in some areas, but nae as popular as once were, abidy buys their sweeties and stuff fae ASDA and the like nowadays. a 10p cone, we sprinkles and juice, fine, or a 10p mix up, 5p bags of crisps. The creepy mannie who used to stand outside markies on a Saturday night telling us we were a doomed. Bon Accord ale - Pineapple, Limeade, Creamsoda, Tropical, Red Kola, best juice ever, especially if plundered fae the factory in Torry during hot summer nights.
  15. Turned 43 a few weeks ago and have to say getting old is shit. I wouldn't recommend it and am often left wondering where the hell the years have went.
  16. Nae bother, tidy woman, part of an ace group.
  17. och, why not. Been we worse. If were on about hairy growlers, Ahyness Deyn, has a fair thatch going on doon below.
  18. Buc, nae wonder you managed to retire so young, was there ever an old boiler you weren't willing to service?
  19. hell yes. She used to sport a massive set of paps, probably a bit droopy nowadays though.
  20. Meter Mannies - Gas, Electric and TV. I ey got a 50p pence when the meter was emptied, must have been the easiest job in the world for topping up your income. Mobile Grocers - MacKenzies van used to do the rounds in Torry, miserable auld bastard that he was. The copie baker van, cream buns never tasted so good. The Strathdees van for its Coconut buns. Oor auld milk mannie was Ryan Essons da. Green Finals Chimney Sweeps - I ken folk on here stil get coal, so must still exist, but my ma liked her lum cleared out once a year.
  21. A cup final will take care of itself, but if Deek decides to go down the route we did yesterday we are fucked. Play to our strengths and to fuck with Celtic, who are really capable of losing goals if you go at them, aye they created a few yesterday, but the result shows they didn't score them as our keeper was more than up to the task. What worries me is McGinn starting against them. I like him as a player, but he goes AWOL most games against his manky heroes. I would say McLean also, but nae chance of him getting dropped. Although Hayes didn't have a great game yesterday, he was subjected to some brutal tackles in my opinion, he was hobbling about a bit after one in the first half.
